Dirty, cold pizza and soup. When I told cashier that all tables are not clean, she gave me wipes. Thanks for that, lol. I let them know but no one clean after all while I was there. The service here has seriously been lacking. Stood at the counter with 3 ppl standing behind the register chit chatting. Not a single one of the acknowledged me. So I turned around and used the self check out computers. Which deleted my order then there weren't even any pagers. Food was brought out and soup was barely warm and I was told they would bring me a cup for my drink. Again no one comes back. I used to love coming to panera and the quality and service used to be really good. If I wasn't meeting someone there I would have left. I'm done trying with this place. There are much better places to have lunch. read more

I typically order a standard salad and build it from the ground-up with my own, personalized toppings. I don't mind paying $1.79 for chicken, but I do mind when they give me 3-5 pieces of it in a large salad. This goes for the avocado also. I always receive such a small portion. Not to mention, I once ordered a turkey sandwich (turkey and lettuce, that's it) through rapid pickup. Got home, took a bite out of my sandwich, and was surprised to find only lettuce. How do you forget the turkey in a two-ingredient TURKEY sandwich?!?! So I drove all the way back. Granted, the manager handled the situation very well, but I was still not too happy of a camper. I'm considering driving out to Destin or Gulf Breeze for my Panera fix now as I've heard those locations are better all-around. Panera is pricey for what they serve, we can all admit it. I love Panera Bread, but this location is honestly the worst one. On the rare occasion my food does not come out cold, half-cooked, or entirely wrong, they skimp me on the portion sizes. Got a bowl of chicken noodle soup for lunch just now since I'm working through a cold. Naturally there's almost no veggies, noodles or chicken! I got maybe 3-4 bites, now there's nothing left but broth. So my lunch today is a baugette and broth. Thanks for continuing to meet your pitiably low standards! Um, Panera Bread, why don't you go ahead and commit suicide already? I mean, seriously, how much more horrible can you get? Do you not speak English, because every time we've ordered, you ALWAYS get the order wrong! What about the time when we asked for 3 baguettes as our sides and you gave us 2 small bags of junky potato chips and 1/4 of a half eaten baguette? How disgusting is that? I was feeding military families. They go to war, they don't deserve that. I did go back the next day and ask for a replacement baguette. The size of the baguette is the 'normal size' baguette that they serve in the Houston, TX Panera Bread locations? Are you guys cheap? I also noticed that Mary Esther, FL Panera Bread location only gives you 1/4 of a baguette, do you call that a side? What about the time when I ordered a caesar salad with grilled chicken and I got 100% complete wilted lettuce, no croutons, no parmesan cheese, and 'shaved chicken pieces', 4 to be correct. I simply lost my appetite and didn't eat the salad, and I snacked on my husband's 1/4 baguette side and my 1/4 baguette side. Also every time I come, I can never find a clean table. I feel that you are catering more towards your 'Internet' customers who sip on tea, what about the families trying to eat and spend money? Seriously? Consistently bad food. Order is always wrong after multiple attempts to get it right. I even followed the rude managers advice and ordered it a different way because apparently extra sauce or chipotle mayo is difficult to understand. Ordered it on the side this time.....never seen runny mayo before were the oil in it has actually separated. Ended up fixing my own 8 dollar sandwhich rather than ask them too when I got home. This combined with the time I came there with a large military order and was asked to not return because they couldn't handle our orders we faxed in hours before coming to pick up. Is more than enough to never return to this location. The one in destin is at least on par with other places I have visited. read more

I love Panera. This one is especially nice because I love the drive thru option if needed. The salads and soups are my favorite. I don't recommend the chicken noodle soup... it's low fat because there's basically nothing but broth. Just skip it and get something else (unless you like broth). I also love a good bagel with cream cheese on occasion. The whole grain bagel is my favorite. My husband loves the sandwiches and their baguette. Not really picky. He likes bread, meat, and cheese. My four year old daughter will not eat mac and cheese from anywhere but here. The chai latte is the best. Add a shot of espresso if you dare... takes it over the top. So good. Being pregnant, I don't want to give up my love of coffee, but it's hard to find a good decaf. Their decaf coffee is hands-down the best decaf coffee I've ever had. You really can't go wrong. I eat here at least twice a week and never have had any issues. Customer service is great. read more

It's edible food, so that's good news. I don't come here by choice, normally there's a picky person who I'm visiting with that has to come here. The inside is actually really nice now, the food is bland. This is another why bother spending your money here, I greatly regret it every time, and I never feel great afterwards. This restaurant has deteriorated since their renovation. The cashier that I had asked me to repeat my order 5 times and still she could not get it right. When it came time to receive my food, another couple had to tell me that the prompts were not working and I would have to get my own food. By that time, the food was cold and was not good or prepared as I had stated. The booth was unclean as well as the floors. Many of the eating areas were also unclean. Was in for a late afternoon working lunch, we were at one point the only guests in the restaurant. Every singles table was filthy including the table we had to clean ourselves to eat at. We were in Panera for about 2.5 hours and not one employee came out to clean any of the tables or the dirty floors. We just got home from ordering food from Panera. Of course they forgot to give us our family size order of chicken noodle soup. We call them and they say we have to come back in to get it. We ask them why can't they deliver but they say "it's a liability"???? So my husband drives back to Panera to get the soup and they proceed to give him a hard time about it. Always delicious, frontega chicken dipped in broccoli cheddar is the best. As with any Panera , this restaurant is very modern and has much to offer. They have charging outlets available probably at every single seat , you can order thru your phone or on a tablet in the restaurant , or go to the counter if you want. I went in yesterday and got a you pick 2 with a soup and a sandwich. I ordered at 6:40 and at 6:50 an employee brought me food, but it wasn't my food and I was trying to tell her what I got and she walked away from me. I can hear her talking to her manager and she said I only needed the sandwich, so at 7 she brought me my sandwich, but not my soup. Once I got all my food my sandwich had practically no meat on it and my soup was cold. I went back today and placed a rapid order. It said my food would be ready by 12:38, but it didn't get done till 12:48. I will say that this time all my food was correct and my sandwich had more meat on it, but the meat was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. read more

Whenever I'm feeling tired of the same old fast food I go here. I have eaten inside a couple of times. Service is great. Food takes a while to get to you but that's because I went during lunch rush hour. Dining area is clean and has been remodeled for a more modern look. Very cute and comfortable. Going through the drive thru has been good so far. They have messed up on my order once while going through drive thru, but I don't hold it against them. I have tried a multitude of food here and always go back to the same Caesar chicken salad. It's very fresh and delicious. I've also just recently found their Mac and cheese which is growing on me. Sandwiches have always been fresh for me. And their tea is delicious. Pricing is expensive but you get what you pay for, Fresh quality food. Overall great place to get something fresh and healthy. Grant atmosphere and great food. They don't have pictures on the menu but check online and everything pretty much looks delicious. I love how we pay first and wait for our food to buzz in. The 1 pm lunch is about 2 hours past my normal lunch feeding time, so needless to say, I was hungry. I was surprised to see such a large bustling crowd at 1 in the afternoon...who knew! I enjoyed the overall atmosphere/vibe of this Panera. It was busy, yet the layout didn't make it seem super crowded. The had a very nice patio area. The Mary Ester cutoff location is horrible about not putting any thing in their sandwiched. I had there steak and white cheese panini. Large sandwich, big bread, one slice of meat, miniature piece of cheese, that's it. What a rip off, stick to soup and salad. read more

Had great customer service tonight. My family all had soup and I noticed mine was noticeably less of a bowl than the other two bowls. I brought it to their attention, thinking they might just add some soup to my bowl, but instead they gave me another full bowl. Everything tasted really good and was definitely hot enough. We stopped here during a recent road trip and grabbed breakfast to-go. It was not very busy around 8 am, but it was Memorial Day. The service was friendly and fast. We got a couple of toasted bagels and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was delicious and tasted fresh. The bagels were ordered with butter and we didn't realize the butter was served on the side until we got in the car. Since they bagels were mostly cooled by that time, the butter didn't really melt well. It wasn't a big deal though, and next time we will remember to ask for the bagels to be buttered after toasting and before serving. read more

Really bad service. My husband and I have been waiting for our food for over 20 minutes. The kid that works here asked if we got our food. We said NO. So he left to "check" on our order. 10 minutes pass and my husband went to ask what's taking so long and they're like oh your food was given to someone else. They told him we'll make it now. After waiting 20 minutes for food I asked the kitchen and they said sorry and offered me a new bowl of soup. I wish I could attach the picture of the steak and cheese panini where there was just enough steak for half the sandwich, the second half was missing meat. This is by far the WORST MANAGED Panera in Florida or perhaps the southeast! Sitting here this morning for 25 mins waiting for a Souffle, ham and Swiss. Was told none were cooked and would be 15 mins. Said I would wait. Ordered a small coffee and was charged for that....OK no problem. But for the wait you might think otherwise. After 25 mins the woman, NOT the worthless manager came out and said they did not cook any. A and to top it off I could not get a refund. But eat something else. and to top it off, we ate dinner here last night and the same pieces of food are still on the floor this morning in the same place. AVOID THIS PANERA!!!! As much as I like eating here, I can't for the life of me figure out why every Panera Bread is so dang small, which makes for a very loud place to eat. You cant have much of a conversation since you are sitting basically on top of each other. Went there today at about 2 and it was slammed (I should have known better). As always, there is no where to sit and then there is always someone sitting in a booth by themselves with their laptop for hours on end. Really people, if you are by yourself, then sit at one of the small tables for one person or in one of the chairs like I saw two or three other respectable humans doing. You are not cool and you are making families wait or set in different areas just because you want to take up a place for four or five for you and your laptop! The rest of us HATE YOU! To the management of Panera bread: Crackdown on these WIFI freeloaders and kick them to the curb if you are busy or you have families waiting to sit. Dont put this on the families, Gyms put restrictions on the use of their Treadmills and Eliptical Machines, do the same for your booths! Get these people in and out of the door!
