Curbside pick up failed,... not organized, got home and order was incorrect.

I'm done with this Panera location in Mashpee Commons. Tired of missing ingredients, waiting at curbside or 15 minutes to then go inside and find that my order was sitting on a shelf. This happened twice. Not sure if it's management, support staff, or something else, but they need to fix it. read more

I know they have great bread. Part of any experience at any place of business starts with first impressions, and the one I got was inexplicable. I walked in simply to ask where the local bus picks up. A young girl that I approached (kindly) simply turned around towards person behind the counter, who I assume was the manager (a bit older, not in standard uniform) and asked the same question. The woman replied - get THIS!- "I have no idea. I'm not from here." While she looked right at me. Believe me, I've spread the word. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Just went to this location for the first time and it was the worst Panera I've ever been to. Even though there were no other customers, I had a really hard time getting the staff to help or even acknowledge me when I had to come back in because MULTIPLE items were missing from my order. Half of them won't even look at you and just walk away. Eventually got a manager to help but after I received the missing items she just walked away from me while I was in the middle of talking to her. Super rude and unprofessional, and none of them including the manager even once offered an apology for the numerous mistakes with me order. Ordered a greek salad to go at the counter and asked to have the dressing put on the salad now. He looked at me and said "okay, it will come on the side". I said no, I want it on the salad, not in the little plastic cup. He said ok, they would do that. Just got home to a bone dry salad with no dressing anywhere. We had a large order of Panera delivered to Willowbend in Mashpee for the morning of our wedding. The delivery was on-time and everything was perfect! Our wedding party loved the pastries, iced coffee, and fruit, and Panera was very easy to work with. We would highly recommend their catering! read more

Loved the outdoor patio space at this little strip mall in Mashpee. Like Panera, there are lots of other cute chain stores nearby to check out. Nothing to really be amazed by, but I did like the iced tea options here and there was plenty of room for our big 15+ person group to find seats both inside and outside. Good meet up spot for lunch or just coffee/tea and a snack. read more

This specific Panera is a bit like the awkward cousin you don't know at your family reunion. You can tell it belongs in the family, but something just isn't quite right. For instance, the layout of the place. So, someone got the bright idea to put an entire glass room inside of a restaurant. Not really certain what the logic to this was... but it's not exactly convenient. We waited easily 15-20 minutes for our food, despite the slow crowd. Still, it's a Panera, and the food tasted just like it should. I love that you can hang out here for a while and relax, especially when it's slow there's no rush. Best Panera I've been to; the young lady behind the counter was very efficient, she named all the items that were in our salads to make sure we wanted everything, never had anyone at a Panera ask that. Food was good and fresh as always and they have outside seating which is typical but since it's at Mashpee Commons it's more interesting for people watching. read more

This place is horrible and crowded. Their wifi sucks and their sandwiches are overpriced. Go to bagel haven. Their sandwiches are basically the same except for two dollars less and attention to detail that actually makes them good. read more

Not going back until they get a new manager. I notice that back in July, someone here reviewed this Panera and specifically mentioned they seem like they needed a new manager then. Well, now we hear that the manager (Trish) was harassing her employees with racist slurs. I'm not surprised that this Panera had chaos and was a mess. Clearly, Trish needs to be fired. read more

Gets a bit crowded at this location, and parking can be tough with all the new restaurants going in at Mashpee Commons. The food is tasty, salads are always fresh and they have a great kids menu. Staff is very friendly at this location and kids are welcome. read more

Mashpee Commons is one of the places I just have to stop in at when I am visiting the cape. I ws surprised to see a Panera is now there and made that my number one stop for lunch. Great spot! It seems a bit smaller than the one I am used to but kinda made a more cozy look to it which I liked. Right away I liked the way I was greeted with a smile and the woman knew all the answers to my questions. My food was great and the bread was so fresh and a bonus was it was Warm! I loved how the manager ( I think)? came over and asked if I needed anythg and if every thing ws how I wanted, and she even cleared away my things as I ws getting up. On my next trip to the cape I will definitly stop in again for my lunch and hope the roll is warm again! read more

I wish yelp had a zero stars category. Picked up a roast beef and arugula sandwich. Packaged poorly - imagine a used diaper. Once opened I found a smushed sandwich. The bread was limp and less than 1/8" thick in most places. The vegetables were brown. The dressing was non existant. The beef was totally tasteless - tomatoes as well. Biggest disappointment was the bread - you'd think a company with bread in its name they would make proper bread. read more

Outstanding customer service. A catering order was placed but mistakenly called into the wrong store. When we went to pick up the order we were told they had not received the call. Once Mr. Ventura realized what happened he and his staff went to work. In about 15 minutes they put together 13 salad and sandwich boxes. Very grateful for their hard work. read more

I recently visited this location around 7:30 pm during non busy hours to grab a sandwich for home in RI. The lady (my guess the manager) saw me standing at the counter but kept fussing moving around bakery items before she finally acknowledged me. I ordered a sandwich however explained am allergic to smoked products so requested a different cheese which seemed to put her out, and mentioned I had a free reward bakery item in my account. She never asked me what I wanted for my side, bakery item nor if I wanted a drink but rung up my purchase. I paid then asked again about my free bakery item and she was rude in responding, she had forgotten. I picked up my order, straightening out at the pickup the side I wanted and headed home. As I was driving I took a few bites and started to have an allergic reaction and discovered the sandwich had the smoked cheese it usually comes with instead of the requested replacement. I had to toss it out. I waited until I got home to have the pastry which ended up being hard and stale. HUGE disappointment all around for Panera Bread. read more

Very nice lady at the counter. Our beef is the tables AND chairs were dirty. We saw a gentleman come to clean all the other tables in the glassed area. He was using a bunch of dirty paper towels or rags and cleaned them all with it. We got a really grossly dirty spoon given to us with our meal. Mac & cheese is good. 1/2 Italian sandwich and 1/2 turkey sandwich overpriced for what you get. read more

I always eat here as I work in the commons, and it's reasonably priced and good. However, almost every single time I order extra dressing they give me 2 containers that are a quarter of the way full. I wouldn't mind if I had to pay more for it, but I never have enough for my salads! read more

Let me start by saying I love Panera Bread, but the last couple of times I've gone the service and effort of the staff had been minimal. They get one star because the food is still good. I placed an order for pickup on Friday night, the kid answering the phone had no idea how to take a phone order, no training? I don't know. Never asked for my name, my number. Didn't tell me how long it would take to complete the order. He just asked me, "Are you like, coming now?" Really? Then he proceeded to tell me they didn't have baguettes again. Third or fourth time I've gone and no baguettes, I mean I know your busy but you make the bread right there, make some more. When I get there I see the kid who had taken my order chatting with his friends at the counter, all while trying to take of everyone else whose orders were wrong. The manager came over to help a few times but mostly continued to do whatever it was she was doing, must have been important because she kept doing it. Multiple times I asked for my order, it wasn't ready. Cashier still chatting with his friends. Manager finally came over she checked, still not ready. When finally it was ready, I had had enough and asked whether it was a corporate or franchise store. She then tried to give me free food. I refused and asked for her district managers number. She gave it to me, I tried to call him today, she gave me a bogus number. That's all I have to say.... Will never go back, they never have baguettes anyway.... read more

so tonight i went to panera to get some grub with my friend for dinner to go. i normally always eat at panera no matter what location, i love it. but tonight i wasn't that satisfied with what i came home with in my to go bag. we ordered two half chicken caesar salads and two different types of bagels to go along with baguettes. i even checked over my receipt when we were handed the bag and it had everything i had ordered on it. i got home to two chicken caesar salads that looked a lot smaller than a normal portion served at panera. no bagels were in the bags and i was very upset. i called the manager and we came back to panera after we had already drove home. she was super nice and gave us two more fresh chicken caesar salads on top of the ones we already had. then she gave us an option of any two free bakery items there just because she wanted us to be happy with what we were leaving with since the first time didn't go so well. overall, i was not impressed at first but the great customer service took care of it. read more

I have celiac disease so my food choices are limited. Was looking forward to the chili after a movie last week, and was told they don't have it anymore. Also, the fellow behind the counter had not idea what I was saying and where the gluten free book was for me to read. Will not be back. read more

Paneras are generally alright. Broccoli cheddar soup is always good, and their turkey bacon bravo sandwich is always great too. Also, their salads are pretty good. It's a good place to go for something quick, yet sit down. Great for lunch. read more

This is the first time I've written a review on yelp and I'm sorry it has to be a bad one. I feel like Panera is the go to choice for a lot of people who just want a light, no hassle meal. Most Panera stores I've been to have been clean, well-kept, and pretty decent. This store was really, really bad. I went here with my mother around 6:00pm about a week ago. There were about three people in line ahead of us and maybe one person behind us in line so it wasn't super busy. We gave our order, no problem. They were out of beepers to give us so they'd just call our name. No biggie. We went to find a seat...as others have said, the layout of the restaurant is weird. We walked around and found dirty dishes on tables, overflowing bus bins, napkins and papers on the floor, tables not wiped down. It was gross but since we'd already ordered we stayed. I went in the bathroom before our order was called...no toilet paper and no paper towels. Then we got our food. They gave me a side of bread with my sandwich...uhh ok, as if the sandwich didn't have enough bread? My mother's salad had wilted, not fresh lettuce. I did see somebody I thought was a manger walking around. I thought maybe the store had a rush earlier and she was catching up and would start cleaning a bit. Nope. Nothing. She just disappeared again. This Panera is surrounded by upscale stores and eateries. I don't understand why it is so BAD. It makes me not want to go to another Panera again. The whole experience was disappointing. Just a big wasted of $25. read more

I went here the other day with a friend just looking to get a quick bite to eat. It wasn't particularly busy and we waited in line for less than 5 minutes. When we approached the counter the young girl working named Molly greeted us. We skimmed the menu and my friend asked what was in the Autumn Squash soup and the girl for the life of her couldn't figure it out. My friend proceeded to ask more BASIC questions about the soup (what kind of squash, if it was sweet, etc) and the girl just stood there saying she didn't know. When my friend asked if the soup was sweet the girl said "not diabetic sweet", which I found to be a totally inappropriate thing to say. The girl then pulled out a huge white binder and started flipping through it to attempt to salvage this train wreck. When she couldn't find the soup in the book, SHE HANDED US THE BINDER AND MADE US LOOK. I was in total shock. The girl never ended up telling us anything about the soup so my friend ordered tomato that was cold and tasteless. This was by far the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. This girl was CLUELESS AND RUDE. FIND SOMEONE WHO HAS A BRAIN TO WORK AT THE MASHPEE COMMON PANERA PLEASE. I will NEVER be returning and will make sure to tell others about this ridiculous experience. read more

This panera I had been to a few times and found the service from the cashiers to be lovely. On employee in particular Kylie was her name was terrific! Very friendly and fast. HOWEVER I had gone about a week ago an was kicked out for doing my homework. I hadn't ordered lunch yet but had planned to get my usual Greek salad that I love and my Pepsi with a cup of soup and so was my friend. We weren't even there for ten minutes after we say when we were told we were going to have to leave because other people needed to sit. If this person who might I add was a manager with a bad attitude ha simply asked if we were going to place an order instead of telling us to leave he would have known he was going to receive money from us. I will NO LONGER be going to this particular panera. Very disappointed with the manager on duty that day an his hostile demeanor an bad attitude. Thanks but no thanks. Young lady at the register taking the order was possibly the rudest, negative individual I have encountered in a restaurant environment...no eye contact, abrupt responses, angry presentation, and condescending. Brief attempt to establish rapport met with further negativity. I spoke with the manager to express my concern vs. criticism of such an individual interacting with the public and she acknowledged a "problem" with her attitude and "having a bad day" which had been addressed earlier in her shift. Sandwich ordered was expensive and only average at best. Obviously allowing such an individual to be the first and possibly only point of contact in this establishment indicates a total indifference to customer service, creating a friendly, engaging environment, and a desire for repeat clients. I, for one, will NEVER frequent another Panera. .....just amazing in this day and age of so many choices and competition these behaviors are tolerated in employees......what can they be thinking other than WHO CARES???
