Panera, for my family, is a splurge for breakfast or lunch. Today, my mom was craving bagels so we decided to go get a bakers dozen. Unfortunately, we really didn't enjoy any part of the experience. When ordering at the touch screens, it wouldn't let us select an everything bagel even though they were right there in the glass case. We went to the front to order and let them know what we wanted. While ordering, those bagels sold out from under us due to the drive through and someone packing drive through orders while they were ordering but no one packing in store orders while ordering. When asking what size spreads we want, there was no listing for individual sizes, just the tubs. We had to ask repeatedly what the prices were. We finally got checked out and she asked if we were eating in the restaurant or taking it to go. We said it was for there and waited for a while before asking where to pick up the food. She said she'd bring it out to us. My mom asked to verify it would be toasted and she said no, did we want it toasted. My mom said yes and that we were never asked. The girl looked around for a minute before saying she'd get it taken care of. When she brought them out, everything was thrown in a bag so we were trying to figure out which pieces went with which. They didn't give us plates, just napkins and plastic silverware. The food was good but the overall experience has made it so we won't be back. The place was quiet and fairly empty. The few staff that were there were not easily accessible if needed, especially when creamer ran out for self serve coffee.

The waitlist -- pickup time at 1230... 1250 and still not done waiting

This Panera bread must not have clocks in the kitchen. I placed a rapid pickup order to be ready at 1230, I got there at 12:20. At 12:50, I'm STILL third on the preparing "to-go" order list. What is the actual point of asking for a time for your order to be ready if you're going to make the customer wait over 30min past their pick-up time. I saw 3 different customers order, sit down, get their order, eat and leave before I even saw my order I'm losing valuable time with my friend I drove 2hrs to see. Just no respect.

When we landed in Virginia we were hungry and decided to have small pizza and mango smoothie. We ordered in the cafe and we got our order in 10-15 minutes. The pizza was hot and its crust was also delicious. It was very well prepared. We loved its taste. The mango smoothie was very sour and we couldn't drink it. We threw the mango smoothie out as it was difficult to drink.

Absolute trash I've sat here for 30 mins and still haven't got my food The employees were nice but for a drive thru this is ridiculous

Who doesn't love Panera??!! I'm already such a huge fan of Panera and am so excited to gush about the new updates they made when moving to this location!! Aside from the new drive thru the inside decor of this location is breath taking. Its modern and airy with a farmhouse flair! I could just spend my entire day cozied up in with my favorite book and a cup of coffee!! I hope you love the new Panera Bread as much as I do!!

The saddest sloppiest chicken frongeta sandwich.

I placed an order for half a sandwich and soup on 11/16. I opted for the frongeta chicken sandwich- which is my favorite, and I was beyond disappointed when I came home and opened the sandwich to see that it was thrown together so carelessly. The sandwich chard no trace of onion, a sliver of mozzarella, and 3 tiny town bits of basil. It is completely unacceptable to give such a mess of a meal to a paying customer. Clearly the staff could care less about their customers.

My tiny sandwich! This is not an optical illusion. Banana held at sandwich level for accurate measuring.

I have never tasted ranch so good in my life. Whatever secret recipe they've got going on, it's pure gold. Everything is homemade, and you can tell this little barbecue spot knows their craft. There's a small seating area for roughly 12 people that is air conditioned, as well as an outdoor area. Service is spectacular. Super friendly and patient! The food - you can tell lots of love goes into this grub! We got a half a one of pulled pork, a small onion ring, and a catfish sandwich that came with a side. We opted for baked beans that were hearty and delicious. A generous portion for sure. The catfish is absolutely fantastic- highly recommend!!!! Comes with all the toppings. Get the pickled red onion. The pulled pork was tender and wonderful. Onion rings were tasty too. The sauces are also all great. I wish we lived closer and weren't just traveling. This would be on regular rotation! Don't skip this. Just get here. So so good!!!

It was a weekday after work. I went to my homegirl's house because I missed her birthday I offered to take her out someplace nice. She said no way man and immediately said we were going to this sandwich shop. This was the only thing she wanted. So we were gonna veg out on her couch. Have a couple cocktails and whatever else and watch something on TV. And her new couch is the bees knees. For me, the sandwich was perfect. The bread was beautiful and crusty. I was afraid it was going to be toasted and too crusty, and I'd be fighting to bite it and my sandwich guts spilling out while cutting up my gums and the roof of my mouth like it's Captain crunch or something.. BUT NO! It was PERFECT to bite through. They load you up with the meat they're not stingy. And the sauces... BABY! The aïoli was fantastic. My only beef is that horseradish aioli needed a little bit more of a kick, but that's a personal problem. My friend got the chicken Caesar and I see why it's popular. It is so garlicky and delicious. I already have plans on what I'm gonna get next time I go and I don't live close so it's gonna take a special trip and I intend to make it.

It's a small little place so eating in isn't really the vibe especially not with a group. I have a few gripes, not related to the taste of the food. 1. You aren't able to remove things when you order online (I hate arugula). 2. They don't have fries 3. They have utz chips

We were surprised by the size of the restaurant when we walked in. It seems smaller from the outside; not that it was huge, just deceiving. It reminded me of a homey Jason's Deli (IYKYK). The woman at the counter was helpful and kind. We had a few questions about some items on the menu, and she asked the kitchen staff anything that she didn't know offhand. We decided on the fried cauliflower for an appetizer; it was monstrously huge, and much more flavorful than I expected. The spices and textures on the plate added a lot to the dish's overall essence. I ordered the Rachel for an entree, and my partner ordered the Sharona. I subbed the chips for a side salad. The salad was tangy or tart, almost bitter. I didn't mind; I thought it was quite good. It is a lot of acidity if you are not expecting it. The Rachel was fantastic, except that the coleslaw had some onion bits mixed in. We are not onion fans in this household. Ha The Sharona would have been a better choice, as I much prefer pickles to oniony coleslaw. My partner said she really liked hers. We had half a sandwich each for leftovers the next day, and shared the leftover chips, since I finished off my salad the night before. The sandwiches heated up exquisitely in the oven at 325°F for 15 minutes. I felt that Susie's is a definite hidden gem, and I can recommend it to anyone who likes a well-made sandwich. I will be back to sample more of the menu and report back my findings at a future date.

No signage, not detailed on the menu, just an ambush once you've placed your order. It's a bs fee to begin with, but concealing it until the last minute is unethical. I'm guessing it will catch up with y'all as these sorts of sketchy business practices often do.
