I ordered the you pick two. The half Mediterranean veggie sandwich was delicious but the half Greek salad was pathetic. Not even half full and their lettuce was not fresh. So much for the new "era"! And this particular location needs to take more pride in order accuracy, appearance and cleanliness!

do not go to the location at Granite Run in Media Pa. I ordered from Panera for dinner tonight. I ordered a caprese sandwich. I got three thin tomatoes and even less mozzarella cheese. my husband ordered a Greek salad and we paid extra for chicken. we got a few small pieces of chicken. not worth the added charge.

Had a nice lunch here today with my daughter and everything was great. This location has only been open a few weeks, and the staff is doing a great job so far running the place. I hadn't been to a Panera in a while, because I had been feeling that they were raising the prices and serving skimpier portions. Yes, I still think the prices are a bit on the high side ($28 for two you pick two combos and two drinks - almost 15 bucks apiece!?!) because I know of plenty of other places I can get a real nice salad or sandwich and a drink for more like 10 or 12 bucks. But at least today, I felt like the size and quality of the food was more worth it. The place was packed with a line the entire time we were there and the staff handled it smoothly and didn't seem stressed at all. Kudos to them. Since it is on my route to work, I plan to stop in for breakfast sometime if I have a little extra time. I think this Panera is a great addition to the area and will do a good business here.

For breakfast? I thought it was a relaxing place to sit have very good coffee and a delicious bagel. The extra charge of almost 2 bucks for cream cheese is outrageous.

I see why my first rating was a 4 on the turkey, it's good but not blowing faces. To be fair, you gotta have awfully good fixins to take a turkey to a 5 count. You want to see it but it ain't easy not being cheesy. Kovacs got good fixins but it's deli style fixins, they're not going to the county fair tryna win medals. Kovacs does come correct on the bread which is such an obvious miss for many in the area. Nice soft airy hoagie roll like ya like it. The Italian though is the winner. The meat to sandwich ratio is elite, and the meats themselves were top top. I honestly didn't take time to pinpoint what about the meats were so good cause I straight inhaled this hoagie. Needless to say I'm coming back. Thus far best hoagie in the locale for sure.

Hidden gem in Media!…read more While it looks like your average corner store from the outside, once you walk in, you are met with incredible energy from the owner and a special deli selection that is sure to meet anyone's standards. In any day, you can expect an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, all on a long roll (personally my favorite way to eat a breakfast sandwich,) and beyond that, he has a great meet and cheese deli selection. He doesn't skimp on portions, and it's really affordable. I've been enjoying a Buffalo chicken hoagie, with the works! You may be surprised to find out that he is slinging meatball subs too, which he claims to be the crowd pleasure. After trying it for the first time, I can certainly see why. Healthy layers of cheese and you can tell he puts in time and thoughtfulness to his sauce and meatball recipes. If you are looking for any drinks or snacks to compliment the sandwich, he has aisles packed out with a number of options. Beyond the food itself, you'll remember the owner. Kind and funny!

I ordered the Satchmo, a buffalo chicken, Italian hoagie, ham hoagie, 4 chicken tenders and fries which came to a grand total of $85. Phew. This was my first time here, but I've heard the food and cheese steaks were great so I was ok with things at this point. I placed my order for pickup and was told it would be 20 minutes. I came in around the 20ish minute mark and waited for 25 more minutes. There was only 1 other person waiting with me. I did see 3-4 other people come in pickup and leave while I waited, but it wasn't busy by standards. While waiting is when I when I observed how unorganized and dis shoveled the staff were. The lady upfront was kind, attentive, and seemed to be running the show putting orders together. But, when she asked for help she didn't get any. She asked another staff member to help bag a specific sandwich for an order, several times, and it went in the guys ear and right out the other. I could also hear them scrambling in the back working on my order, and complaining about how many Italian hoagie orders came in right at the same time. Maybe they were behind, maybe they accidentally let mine go with a different order? This is all speculation but they were definitely overwhelmed and it shouldn't have taken that long for my order. The cheese steaks were good, and the Italian hoagie was very hearty! They do not skimp on meat, but the hoagie bread was so hard most of it was thrown away. I don't care for shredded gums. Overall, not a good first time experience. Minus a star for the price, minus a star for the delayed pickup time, and minus 1/2 for the rock hard Italian hoagie bread. The steaks were good but everything else outweighed the food quality.

If you've never been, it's a cute little country eatery adjacent to an antique shop and feed and seed store, very close to Ridley Creek State Park. The food is yummy as well! They have quite the selection on their regular menu along with daily specials. I haven't visited for a few years now because my last experience was repulsive…read more Perhaps it was a coincidence but I received very odd treatment (abnormal from all my prior experiences) here when we asked non-white friends to join us for lunch. We were seated in the corner by the cookie jars, 3 kids among us. The waitress for some reason could not hear my non-white friend even though she was perfectly audible to me, and I was audible to the waitress (not speaking any louder than my friend). Nonetheless, my friend had to repeat herself more than once, and I felt her guard go up that the treatment was odd. My protective instinct for them (and my child) went up as well. The food took an extremely long time but that can happen at lunch because they are very busy. What was odd was that my friend was given an order of fries she never asked for--I heard her order THREE TIMES and somehow the waitress still did not get it right. I will add that the waitress was extremely preoccupied with a male customer, flirting, giggling and acting like a high schooler (she was 20-something). I get being giddy in a new relationship but it was completely distracting her from her job and was totally inappropriate especially considering all the mistakes she was making. We also had to wait extremely long periods between being given water, ketchup (again, my friend's request), our bill, etc. Worst part, the bill was extremely high and included about $15 more than what we ordered. We were charged for the fries she mistakenly (on purpose?) gave us, and the wrong sandwiches were on there too. You know what I did? I did the "nice white girl" thing and obediently made no fuss and left a tip that waitress never deserved. It's sad I was confused and overwhelmed by the sh!tty treatment and in denial about what happened. Yes, I should have made a complaint then and there but they'd already made us late for the arboretum, plus when you treat people passive aggressively, and you make 3 kids between 1 and 5 have to sit for an hour of the slowest incompetent service ever, I had to just pay and leave because I was not going to make a scene in front of kids and the place was slammed with people so I'd have had to further wait for someone to be available. However I did attempt to call them multiple times in the days after but no one picked up during lunch hours when I called. They have no email address I could find to show my receipt and as the days passed I had a million other things to do as the mom of a young child so that's how it goes when a business has no email in the 21st Century. We were treated like crap and overcharged. I realized all my prior visits were with my family or extended family, all white people. Childhood visits were with a white friend who lives nearby, and her white family. You can see in photos and reviews I have been to this place many times going back to my childhood, but I haven't returned since and I will never go back. I got a good sense of how it feels when "odd" passive aggressive behavior seems to happen around non-white people, and yes it could be honest mistakes (a series of them aimed at my non-white friend) or it could be discriminatory. It could be that one waitress's attitude is irreflective of the establishment but this is what happened at this establishment, and the result is we were treated deplorably and I have no reason to ever return. They owe me an overcharge of $15 plus the unfairly high tip I left that horrible waitress!

Now in corona mode. 9/11/20 This weekend I enjoyed an outdoor experience there on a Friday. 9/11/20 There was a duo called Almost June playing outside. Great, mellow tunes and smooth voices. The beet salad was quite nice with fresh mozzarella instead of the typical goat's cheese. i also enjoyed the "torta" sandwich. It was a large, tasty crab-cake served burger style probably 6-7 oz. w lettuce tomato, garlic mayo, and some truly delicious fresh-cut fries w skin onI also enjoyed the lemoncello chicken served w fingerling potatoes, and haricot vert. My dining partner complained about our waitress who seemed not to wear a mask at all, even though she was running inside and back out. All other staffers had their masks on as far as I could see when they came our or when I visited the clean, indoor bathroom The inner dining rooms were also operating at what appeared to be full Corona capacity. She also complained that the chicken was dry, I did not agree. It may have been pre cooked for quick delivery upon ordering. The food came out super quickly so there must have been a great deal of advanced prep involved. I know my dining partner gave a bad review so I am giving a good one w constructive criticism I hope to return to La Porta Via and change my rating to 5 stars. Finally, a NOW OPEN flag was placed atop the sign so my lady and I pulled in to find it. Tucked in the back behind the office building you will find this deceptively small looking building that is actually very spaceous inside. On the shelves you'll find a number of italian specialty items: dried pastas, desserts, chips etc. In the cases you will find prepared foods, salads and sauces. The day we went in there was a refridgerator problem with the glass case and all the food items were stacked on top of each other in a case that worked. We grabbed some cooked stuffed shells and some tomato sauce to reheat for dinner the next evening. The sauce was tasty and fresh but sweeter than I like (tasted like sugar was used which I will never understand as the tomatoes are sufficient.) The shells were spectacular - absolutely delicious. Their website with a full menu is under construction and will be here soon. This is a welcome addition to us folks out here. Closer than Carlinos in West Chester yet more limited compared to the offerings you can get at Carlinos, La Porta Via does offer a solid number of items I intend to try.
