This cafe is in a great location with lots of traffic and coffee runs out quickly but is freshly brewed, if you don't have time they'll fill your cup in the back. Their clean & responsibly sourced menu offers great variety. Rapid order works well, except for frozen lemonade. If you prefer your drinks at the right temperature, order upon arrival. Luckily, my orders are usually ready on time. They did explain sometimes orders are taken by other people, which they then replace. With free Wi-Fi and so much business, traffic has worn out their seating :( Some of the staff are great, some may be having a bad day or year... good luck on your visit. The worst panera I have ever been to. On our drive out from philly. I was given this smoothie as is with the fly dead on it. The broccoli cheddar soup appeared to be weeks old and the wrong color. It tasted so badly neither my boyfriend or I could take more than a bite. read more

This Panera location has really disappointed me lately. 3 out of the 4 times we've gone and ordered delivery or curbside and each meal was so wrong it was comical. We will order the (amazing when done right) Mediterranean bowls and the 3 times they were bad it's had original items like the Greek yogurt and hummus missing. When we specify to add extra chicken or another original item in the bowl, they have completely leave it off. Once they even left 2 soups out, but we had it delivered so we didn't know what to do about that. The portions vary every single time. Today was the worst as we could see the bottom of the bowl and all the contents looked like they'd been rolling around. We love Panera usually. We go once a week at least. And I don't like to leave negative reviews on small mistakes bc I know it's not an easy job especially right now, but the service has been really really unfortunate and disappointing. If they don't have certain items we completely understand but it's annoying to pay for something and not get any warning that it is going to be NOTHING like you ordered it. read more

I want to give this place higher than three stars, but the last 4 times I have ordered online I get a call as I'm driving to the restaurant to get my food that it will be a 20 min wait for my food to cook. The online supply doesn't match the stores inventory just FYI. If you're crunched on time don't count on this place to have your food ready when you get there. read more

Overpriced Cr*p. I've never liked Panera. Their menu is weird and WAY over priced. My wife wanted to go there for lunch, and since I wasn't hungry I agreed to meet her there. If i'd have been hungry i'd never have agreed to go there because i won't eat their food. So, as she's trying to figure out which of the weird salads that they offer that she's going to order, I look to see what sodas they have, then see that they're wanting almost $3 for a soda. Ridiculous. Greedy. When I saw that, I was done. I turned around and walked out. A soda costs a restaurant roughly 30 cents per regular glass, and they're charging 10 times that to their customer. I'm not against a business or person making a profit, but marking something up to 10 times the cost???? Imean seriously, I can buy a 12 pack of soda for what they want for one glass! Then I noticed that their tea is the same price as soda. Tea costs a company about 8 cents per glass. So it's marked up over 37 times their cost. Corporate GREED. Nope, I've never liked Panera, their overpriced food, their eating area, or anything else about them. Now they just gave me another reason to dislike them. You are dumb. So dumb. Who are they hiring at this panera? It pains me to write this. Panera has such high quality and reputation, but it is disappointing to have the labor not have a basic 6th grade education at this particular location. My little brother gave his order and the employee we'll call Z stared back blankly saying 'we dont have that sandwich on the menu'. So I stepped up (who talks down to an 11 year old?) "excuse me, you dont have wheat bread, chicken, bacon, and american cheese?" guess what, they do. Then I said "Ill have a pick 2, let me start with a side salad.." "oh! we dont do side salads" WHAT THE HELL. Interrupt me again. I dare you. "May I please have a side salad with just lettuce tomato and balsamic?" She then looks at me like I'm nuts "oh, our salads have a lot more than that." *sigh* At this point I didn't even want to eat. After order I stood there waiting for my cherry danish (to go for daddy), and chocolate chip muffy for my brother. She stared at me 'oh i'm sorry is there something else you need?" New location and honestly it felt like a hospital cafeteria instead of a classic Panera. Order kiosks we're causing a clog at the entry way, food quality has definitely been cut back. Drink station was super messy and just plain unsanitary. The good thing was my shell of was to be a steak and cheese sandwich tasted decent. Won't be back to this location. read more

Not sure what has happened to this place, but the dining area is always dirty. Tables aren't being cleaned off. It's also becoming a regular occurrence that they are out of several items, and in talking about minor things, but out of most breads, out of olives...they were out of regular sized cups once. Name recognition and lack of competition is keeping it open right now. read more

I placed an order online at 11am to pick up at 11:30. When I arrived 5 minutes late I was told it would be another 15 minutes or so as they were running behind. I would understand if I had just placed the order but I submitted it 35 minutes and I was already behind on the time I requested. Not happy and requested a refund as I didn't have the time to wait. read more

When I was stationed here I would come here for breakfast. They suck for breakfast by the way. I visit from time to time for work and had an early morning. I called in my breakfast for pick up. When I showed up they started making it and even forgot a couple items. Lunch is ok. It is what it is. Packed from all the Time ker traffic. It can leave you with healthy options or items that appear healthy but are just as unhealthy as the fast food across the street. Food isn't bad depending on who they have working. I just have consistently bad service. Why do I come back? If I have the time and want some healthy options and variety or am going with a group, I give this place a shot. Yeah its a chain and I'm not big on giving too good of a mark as such, but their sandwiches are fresh and terribly good. Today I had the "u pick 2" special for a late lunch. I decided to try the Sierra Turkey, Black Bean Soup, baguet, and sweet tea. Thanks to my cashier for recommending the soup - awesome! Sandwich was tasty & filling. I was stranded at the heart hospital with my mom during the snow storm. I had to make a Target run for essentials since a one day trip turned into 4. Panera was the only food place open between target and the hospital. I was the last person they served before shutting down because of the storm. They were fast, friendly and the food was excellent. The person at the speaker was patient with me since it has been years since I've been to one and did not know what to get. It was hot and fresh. They could've declined me or given me cold food with half effort given the other circumstances But they didn't and I appreciate their effort. read more

I often travel out of state and finding good food near the hotel is often a challenge. I noticed the Panera Bread spot and decided to give it a try. There is one in Austin but I had never gone in. I will now put this eatery on my list of places to go. The food was excellent, portions appropriate and the mac n cheese is to die for. Atmosphere is set up like a Coffey shop. This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a Panera Bread. The staff was extremely loud( laughing/ yelling at each other) and I had to clean my own table. I ordered lunch while I was doing my homework and I noticed after an hour my lunch had never came. I went to go talk to someone about it and they informed me that my order never went through. The payment had not gone through my account at the time but the person told me I would have to come back up there to get a refund. I love the food it's the only reason I still go once in a blue moon. However, the service there is always poor, I've made several rapid pickup orders and have had my order stolen or unprepared up to an hour after I placed it. The last time I went I ordered a salad rapid pickup and came to found out it didn't have dressing so I called and was promised sauce and a free dessert. I get there and stand in line for at least 10 minutes behind people and when I get to the register I'm not helped for another 10. I was only given the sauce and they wouldn't give me the dessert. I am disappointed in the meal we ordered for take away. First of all, we ordered two Green Goddess Salads. We received no chicken in either salad, rotten avocados in both and the salad was full of tomatoes. Always check your order before you walk away because surprises like this when you live 25 miles from the restaurant, it isn't easy to return the items. I have never had a bad experience until this visit. Sandwich was not correct. Salad had no dressing and didn't give me dressing on the side. Staff was gossiping about other staff members. Visit here 3 to 4 times a year. My friend from the North side wanted to visit me for lunch and she loves Panera Bread. They informed us the soup would not be ready in time but in 5 minutes. 5 minutes later it was another 5-10 minutes. I ordered a bread bowl and large tea. The place was dirty. Trash all over the floors, most empty tables were filthy. Upon arrival the soup was in a plastic bowl. I told the girl that dropped it off and she says very condescendingly "Yes....that's a bowl". I said no, in a bread bowl. She then decides to pull a crumbled piece of paper out of her pocket and said "Well that's not what you ordered". I state that I did indeed order the bread bowl and she takes the plate without saying another further. She drops it off in silence a couple minutes later and I said "hey thanks" and she continues to walk off. The silverware looked as though it had just been out on my plate by a toddler that had just finished his lunch. Picture attached. I lost my appetite andd that time for the food AND the service and asked for a manager. An young male,manager walked out. As I'm discussing the problem he keeps interrupting me with "Where's your receipt". I give him the plate and request my money back. Great Restaurant in a great location. There is not a big selection of healthy restaurants in the Midwest City/Del City area. This and subway are probably the only two that exist around here. Now you have to be careful though. This restaurant is always packed around lunch time. The secret is to call it in and pick it up. You will notice the long line of frustrated and hungry customers gloating at the fact that you breezed thru the line and landed at the ALWAYS OPEN "pickup/to go" register. As stated, this is a fantastic restaurant and I promise you will enjoy it. read more

I love Panera but be careful when ordering from the Midwest City location. My husband placed a To Go order and drove all the way home only to realize the order was not complete. My advice is to be triple check everything before leaving to make sure your order is complete. read more

When placing a rapid pick up order, you have to follow up and bring the order with you and ask someone when it will be ready. Orders are usually not ready on the time specified. Such good food, but not reliably ready when ordering. Just make sure to arrive early to ensure the order is correct and ready by the time you need it. read more

I absolutely love this Panera Bread. I frequent this place almost 3 times a week and each time I greeted by someone, usually the manager and thanked, even if I'm ordering Rapid To Go. The place is kept clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's sometimes very hard to get good customer service, especially when hiring younger people. This Panera has done a great job on making sure that their staff is well trained. I will continue to come here and hold meetings. It's a great place. read more

Do not eat here on a busy day. The staff is not capable of handling crowds. Been here on an empty day and the food is great. Today the entire restaurant was filled with hungry people waiting an hour for some premade soup. I work in the restaurant industry and the customer service on a day like this was severely lacking. When an order is made wrong and you've already touched the plate you should not be taking that plate back to throw it away or even worse feed to another customer. read more
