08.22.23 Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT
    May A.

Simple sandwich packed with flavor [Minnetonka MN] We have quite a few Panera Bread restaurants in our neighborhood in California so this isn't new to my taste buds. I always get the Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT so this is what I ordered for lunch on Day #2 of our workshop. Glad to know that they are prepared consistently good. Everything was yummy and fresh and they were generous on the Applewood-smoked bacon and the fresh avocado. The sandwich came with free chips. There is also a salad version of the Turkey & Avocado BLT (fresh veggies, turkey, and bacon crumbles topped with balsamic vinaigrette dressing). I might try that next time. Until I get a chance to actually dine in the restaurant this is all I can review about. The orders were to go and was picked up by one of our colleagues. Review #3115

Great place to grab some food and do some work! I haven't been here in a while but I tried their bacon mac and cheese and I loved it! Everything here is great!! The food, the staff, the restaurant were all very good. The only thing I wish is that they had more breakfast options throughout the day. The menu is quite varied and I would love to try more of the food! I came here to grad a bite to eat and work and it was a great place to dine!

Four of us stopped for lunch. I have not been to a Panera in a while and was impressed that they have stepped up their food selections. We all got some form of a hot bowl. All the ingredients were rest and tasty. We had a few special orders and they all came out as requested. We used the self-service kiosk, so our only interaction was with the folks when we picked up our order, and it was all good. There were employees cleaning tables so there were spots readily available.

Pick 2: Napa Chicken Almond Salad & Green Goddess Cobb Salad w/ baguette

I randomly went to this Panera on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. The restaurant was moderately empty and there was only one or two people ahead of me in line. I usually go with the you pick 2 because it's a decent amount of food and I was pretty hungry! I ordered the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Green Goddess salad. With this deal you get an option of chips, apple, or baguette. I chose baguette. The cashier was a pretty nice guy! This Panera has a lot of seating options like most other Paneras. There was a booth with a fireplace next to it, which I don't think I've seen in other Panera locations. Shortly after choosing my table by windows, my food arrived - we love a short wait! Everything tasted yummy just as it should! Although I chose the baguette, I find that the outside usually really tough so I always opt for just pulling out the inside to eat which is pretty soft. Overall I like that this Panera over other locations had a fireplace and was pretty tame for lunch but still had the great Panera quality food and service.

I decided to use the self-serve kiosk because there were 3 chatty guys ahead of me. Panera Bread has it going on with this system! It was easy to navigate and I was able to order my food and drink without waiting. I went to find a seat by the window and had my order delivered to my table with a limited wait. The turkey sausage, egg white and spinach breakfast sandwich was ok. I don't love the bread they use, which is too bad considering they're a bread shop, but I didn't hate it either. I was a little surprised to see the sausage mixed with the egg white though. My preference is to have a sausage patty that is separate. The skim latte also wasn't very good. Which is why they only get 2 stars from me...

Despite being the height of lunch hour and very busy, our food came out very quickly and was delish!

The space itself looks like an older Caribou location that's been renovated, with a casual vibe and plenty of seating options. They also offer food like breakfast items and sandwiches, which is a plus. The coffee was just fine overall, but the sesame latte was a miss for me. It tasted like straight sesame seed grounds and was very gritty. It didn't seem mixed well and was honestly hard to drink. The staff was friendly but also felt a bit distant at the same time. Service wasn't rude, but it didn't feel especially warm or welcoming either, almost like they didn't really want you to be there. Parking can be a little tricky right out front, but there are usually plenty of spots available in the main strip mall area nearby Trader Joe's. Overall, it's clear this place is very popular and busy, and I may have just caught it on an off day. Decent space and lots of options, but the drink and service didn't fully win me over on this visit.

The space itself is nice, clean, well-maintained and the staff is friendly. I ordered a Reuben (duh) with coleslaw, the twins had Cavatappi with cheese sauce, and KJ had a turkey club because they were out of the jus for the French Dip. I can say the girls' waffle fries were really good. The Reuben was just bad. It comes on white bread and the corned beef was sliced and stacked. The sauerkraut had been on the grill, which is nice, but there just wasn't enough. The corned beef was very dry and I was unable to cut through it with just a table knife. I asked for extra sauce to try to salvage a few bites but the sauce itself (their Smash sauce) is NOT good on a Reuben; it's very mayo-forward. I literally ate 1/4 of my sandwich and I had enough. The Cole slaw unfortunately was so lightly dressed it was like eating plain cabbage. Overall a pretty disappointing outing and we won't be back.

The Tavern Grill: 5 stars for Independence Day!…read more To celebrate Independence Day, my Family and I decided to try a new restaurant and The Tavern Grill was a great choice! From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The atmosphere at The Tavern Grill is really cool and beautiful. Every detail was perfect for a holiday dinner. Our server was awesome too. She was super nice, attentive and added to the overall good vibe of our meal. Great service makes a big difference and she was a big part of why our experience was so good. And the food! I loved the waffle fries - perfect and delicious. But the house-made Ginger Ale was the real winner for me. It was so refreshing and had a unique flavor I really liked. Overall The Tavern Grill exceeded all expectations and was a great choice for our holiday dinner. I highly recommend it for a great meal, beautiful setting and top notch service. We'll be back!
