Incredibly understaffed, took over 20 minutes with just a few customers waiting. Management needs to hire more people.

We had a wonderful experience. We were there at around 10:30 on a Friday. There was a small but…read moresteady line of people coming through. It doesn't have a huge deli menu, but it had a bunch of sandwiches on the menu that looked pretty good. You can zoom in on my photo to see the menu. We came for breakfast and there was a nice donut case as well as other breakfast options. We came late so the donut case was pretty picked over which is to be expected. We had a cream filled bismark, a sausage roll, and an Asian coffee. The bismark was the best I have had in a long time. They fill it with your choice of fillings right when you order so it isn't soggy. The dough part of the donut was fresh and light and somehow tastier than anywhere I have been. The custard was pretty standard custard, but also tasted lighter and fresher than I have had before. The sausage roll was basically a hot dog type sausage wrapped in a croissant type dough. There was also an option of cheese and jalapeño. It was good. The Asian coffee was good, as you might guess it was pretty much what other places call Vietnamese coffee. It is in a strip mall so there is strip mall parking. There is a ramp and the store is pretty handicapped accessible. The staff were fast, efficient, and friendly. There was a good amount of seating inside, and a few tables outside.

They did run out of pastries today but I will try again another time. I tried the grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich I ordered and it was delicous! I'm saving the second one for dinner. 1-Star Review I…read morevisited The Grocer's Table in Wayzata on Sunday, July 26th with my mom, sister, and daughters for what was supposed to be a special family meal. We arrived at 11:15 a.m. and waited 20 minutes in line to order. My sister and her kids received their food in about 20 minutes. My daughters and I, however, waited nearly 50 minutes after ordering (over an hour total) and never got our food. When I finally went up to check on our order, I had to wait another 15 minutes to speak with manager Meghan Walsh. She couldn't find our order, interrupted me mid-conversation to help someone else, and only located it after I suggested she search by my credit card. She was defensive and unpleasant the entire time. She argued with me when I requested a refund, eventually offered only 50% off, and later came to our table to blame the delay on a busy Sunday while disputing how long we had waited, despite my receipts. What should have been a memorable family meal turned into one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I will never return to The Grocer's Table.

Staff were all very friendly and pleasant. Easy menu to navigate. Order: carnitas burrito. Tortilla was tender and had good flavor. Premade tortillas that were warmed under a press. Get the burrito toasted. All the toppings and choices like a chipotle restaurant but somehow tasted a little better. This burrito was also huge. Definitely can get two meals out of it for just $10.99. Pretty good value. Horchata was $2.99. Worth it. Creamy but not too sweet.. good balance of flavor. Large chips and salsa $6.50. Big potion with your choice of homemade salsa. Overall: always try to support small family owned local businesses. This place is delicious and is definitely worth the drive to Medina. PS. They also heard it was my friend's birthday and gave us some delicious churros. They were perfectly fried with a crunchy exterior with tender inside and cream cheese filling. Dipping sauces were a perfect accompaniment.

We took a few minutes to order as the age range of our group was 12-73 years of age. The waitress was kind, and patient as we ordered. After ordering the food came quickly. We had a variety off the menu ranging from Salad to rice bowels and three different types of burgers. The Food and service was excellent! The manager came and asked how the meal was and was very pleasant. Prices were reasonable and portions were huge. I highly recommend this establishment and we will come back again.

The atmosphere is bright, cheery, and enthusiastic -- although perhaps a bit loud. But then again, it's a sports bar with more televisions than Best Buy. The service was extremely friendly, professional, and competent. All of the waitstaff were hard working and very attentive. Our waitress can around often to bring pop refills and to check on us. The food was typical sports bar faire, but well done. We did not go for the July Bloody Mary of the month ($30!) (see photos), which came with more food than a full day's outing at the Minnesota State Fair. Instead, my wife had been and the Jumbo Bacon Cheddar Chive Tots ($13), which were filling and tasty. The tots were stuffed with bacon, cheddar cheese and chive, and served with aioli. I had the Traditional Bone-in Wings ($16.50) with two sauces - sweet chili, and sticky garlic gochujang. Although both were flavorful, my personal preference was for the sweet chili. All of the wings were juicy and cooked well. I also upgraded to a very large portion of beer battered fries, which were shoe-strong fries. They were cooked well - not greasy or overcooked and very tasty. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal.
