I go to Panera every morning for my coffee before work and I usually go to the Redlands location since it's right by my job . This location however is closer to my home but it is so bad. They don't have self serve coffee cups available so I have to wait until someone is available to give me a cup which is hard because no one pays attention to you. Trust me I'm not one to give bad reviews. I generally will say something to the manager or shift lead. In this case, nope.. giving them 1 start. There was a few minor reasons but the biggest one of them all is their food safety to the public. There was chicken in my salad (not a salad that came with chicken). I don't consume meats because my body doesn't can digest it so I chose not to eat it. Am I allergic, no. However this makes me wonder what if someone was allergic? Incompetent staff. After waiting for a long time for the girl at the register to finally take our order, I ordered the flatbread pizza for my daughter to be told that they were not doing flatbreads because they were out of boxes. Then proceeded to see at least four other people be served flatbread in boxes or on plates to dine in. This place was awful. Me and my wife went in and first impressions were bad. Homeless people around so not good. I ordered the turkey avocado BLT and she had the cheese broccoli bread bowl. Very pricey for a basic sandwich my wife could've made at home. Would've tasted better, too. My wife's bread was very hard and had a gnat on it. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Went in, ordered, and paid for 2 of the spinach souffles. Then I drove home and cut into the souffle...they were RAW at the bottom. So, I had to drive back to the restaurant, told them the souffles were raw, and was provided with 2 more. Drove back home, cut into them and again, they were still RAW, but not as RAW as the first ones. With the prices of the souffles, this is RIDICULOUS! Needless to say, I won't order these souffles to go again. If I do get them again, it will be INSIDE the restaurant where I don't have to waste gas returning them. I will sit there, cut into it and if it's RAW, they can just REFUND my money. The food is of the best quality, but it is very expensive. $18.00 for a 1/2 sandwich, side item and a beverage. The hostess working Tuesday afternoon was the highlight of the visit. She seemed to talk to every guest and remained very calm and focused. I ordered the night before dozen bagels and a tote of coffee for 9am pick up. At 9am it said it was ready. I went in at 9:06 and they said they were making coffee. I had a meeting to get to which is why I preordered the night before. At 9:15am the shift leader informed me they didn't have the bagels I ordered! It was 15 mins after it said ready. If I could give a -10, I would. I'm boycotting Panera. Yesterday, I stood in line for soufflé, smoothie, & pastry ring for the staff at the nursing home. They had one soufflé in the case. I figured that was mine. I get up to the counter order & pay; which included the soufflé. He goes to get it & a girl from the back, grabs it for an online order. I have ordered online at 9 o'clock at night to pick up in the morning. I have ordered at 6:30 in the morning to pick up at 9:30 in the morning and have had problems getting soufflés. I went right through all the problems I've had trying to get soufflés. The manager was going to refund me for the soufflé. I told him to forget it and cancelled my whole order. I had an awful experience with one of the employees. I felt Chardonnay had an awful attitude and was very disrespectful. She rolled her eyes and spoke to me rudely. The worst part is when I went to ask another employee to speak to a manager, she told me Chardonnay was the manager on duty. I asked to speak to the general manager but was told she (Patricia) was not there. I was given a card to call back later. Chardonnay needs retraining or she needs to be demoted to a non customer service position. My family enjoys panera but will probably not be back to this location. read more

I really love Panera, and this location is excellent. The staff is very friendly, all the food is cooked fresh and tastes delicious. I noticed this location now has iPads for fast ordering, I didn't use it this trip but might try them out next trip. I've done preordering from their website before and that's super convenient. I think and hope this new ordering system will help relieve the extremely long lines. I've never been to a Panera that consistently has huge lines of 5-10 people or more waiting to order. But that being said, the food is well worth the wait. My go-to order for breakfast is one of the 4 soufflés they offer. Each one is excellent! I also really love their panini's and muffins. I'm not a fan of their coffee, a little too bitter tasting for me. If you sign up for the rewards program you'll earn for pastries and coffee, things like that. Nice people and tasty food, but pricing issue needs to be addressed... Whenever i visit family and shop at the Moreno Valley mall, my sisters and I usually come here. My little sister orders after me and asks for the same, but she doesnt like blueberries so asks for strawberries instead. She is told that would be $1 extra! Excuse me?!? For strawberry substitution, you're going to charge $1 extra?!? Blueberries at the grocery store cost more than strawberries, so is the charge necessary?!
