Food is always fresh and filling, customer service cannot be anymore amazing, and the store manager always goes out of his way to speak and joke about my friend's service animal, calling him "killer." This, along with the one on 21st St in Nashville by Vanderbilt, are the ONLY two Paneras in the Nashville area that do not discriminate, are friendly, and do not refuse service because my friend and I come in with a service animal. They even try to help the few houseless that visit and don't bother no one. The rest they run off and they should. Why do employers allow employees to have such poor attitudes and extremely poor customer service. I'm standing at the counter while two young girls stand on the other side saying nothing to me as I just stand here. I would love for the manager to watch this recording back for 9/21/23 at 4:30 pm and tell me if I am wrong. An absolute disgusting display for customer service. Hell in a hand basket. This was my first visit in Tennessee, new here from Alabama. Salads we're great, but the warm soup was barely warm. I had never used the kiosk no employee to help. Out of lids for drinks, would understand but there was a party in the kitchen. This is literally the worst Panera in existence. If you place a curbside order, go ahead and expect to sit out there and wait for around an hour. I've tried to call inside multiple times, but they refuse to answer the phones. Heck, at this point maybe they've deceased of old age. My husband and I used to go to Panera Bread in Bellevue TN quite often and food was good. Service started going downhill during the pandemic and after in which the store would close. After several months of not going to this location we had lunch there today. The prices have increased and the food size smaller! My tuna sandwich was nothing but bread and lettuce. I was standing near the food staff and was ignored until I finally stood up and complained. The employee angrily said, "we have to measure our food now as we never did before". Live right next to here and order all the time. Unfortunately they can't get an order right.. practically ever. I order the same thing every time. I am lactose and can not have cheese. I very specifically state that every single time. 8/10 times they screw up the order. My order is 2 croissant sandwiches with 2 eggs and bacon only. Today one of my croissants was Egg and Cheese only, and the other was Bacon and cheese... now I'm back in the store to get my food remade after driving home, and they don't even have croissants. I know it may sound petty but it's infuriating when it continues to happen over and over, especially when I repeat my order 3 times and have the person at the window repeat it back to me. I like Panera Bread for what it is-a fast-casual neighborhood spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This location also has a drive-through for those of us constantly in a hurry. This location is nice because it has plenty of parking and it is on the newer side. Panera has really revamped their menu over the years to offer a variety of great things. Their coffee drinks are actually cheaper than a lot of the trendy, specialty places in town (*cough the Well cough*) and are actually pretty good. I've gotten a cafe latte and the Madagascar vanilla latte before and I've enjoyed both. They have good baked goods--I've tried their M&M cookie and their lemon drop cookie. I've tried their breakfast bagel before which I enjoyed. My book club meets here every month because it is a convenient spot for a group of people to meet where it won't be too crowded in the evening. It's really worked perfectly and I look forward to coming here. read more

Not sure what was going on here, as I see employees thru the drive thru window, but I'm sitting here for 15 minutes waiting on some oatmeal. Oatmeal. Something I assume is pre made and just needs to be reheated. I can understand short staffed and underpaid. Woman Finally came to window. Still no food. Said they messed up my first order. Lady did offer me a pastry for my trouble. Want to add a bit more after reading more reviews. Wonder if a health inspector has inspected this place. I'm guessing management nor corporate pays attention to Yelp reviews? Also the person who gave me my food was different from the lady who took my money. He was hostile. I also think dressing in sloppy looking street clothes is not a good impression. I get that no one wants to wear dorky uniforms, but maybe they all should wear the same nice shirt? Okay, so Panera bread gets 2 stars because of the nice manager I spoke to after I called 5 times to get a refund of some sort. I went through the drive thru. There was no one else behind me or in front of me so they weren't in a rush. I pull up, he takes my card charges me- I try to make small talk - he wasn't friendly - I drive away get home and I don't have my full order. I did however receive 35 napkins. With my half salad and the item that wasn't in the bag that was supposed to be was my cup of soup. Who needs that many napkins? I'm disappointed because I was really looking forward to eating my food when I got home but instead got a half salad that tasted dry and thrown together without any effort. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but this has happened so many times at this location. I asked for chips (because I'm not a fan of the bread) and after waiting over ten minutes for them to finish up with one customer....I got bread with my meal. I know I could have checked, but I don't get paid for that. It's been a lot day, and I really just wanted those delicious chips. You guys are always kind and respectful. I normally visit this location often, but I will not be going here again after my experience today. My partner got the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and bit into a big chunk of pink, raw chicken. I showed the worker at the window and she offered to make another. That was nice, but our appetites were ruined. The girls at the counter were super apologetic and nice. They even tried to explain how it could've happened. But the manager didn't seem to care. He came up and refunded only the sandwich portion of our meal. That's fine, but I work in hospitalality, and if someone is served raw chicken, you comp their entire meal and offer gift cards. I picked up lunch at Panera Thursday, using the drive thru window. I got the "Pick 2" with the Pepperoni Melt and a small serving of Tomato Soup; a bag of chips, a piece of baguette, and a large iced tea. The sandwich had only pepperoni, sauce and a thin layer of melted cheese. My bill was over $20. While the taste was good, in particular the soup, the charge was way out of line for the amount of food, the fact that it was "fast food", and a drive thru experience at that. I can get a restaurant sit-down experience with high quality food, in portions large enough to take home a second leftover meal for $20 - example: Nicky's Coaled Fired spaghetti and meatballs, which I had last night (and today for lunch), all for the same price as my Panera meal. I've always been a fan of Panera, but I feel that the chain is pricing itself out of the quick meal market - just like Zoe's did. Panera is pretty much Panera, there isn't a ton to say about it besides this is where we go in Bellevue now if we need some soups, salads and sandwiches. This location is new, which is very exciting to those of that live far out on the west side of town. The food is fresh, and it's easy to get in and out of their pretty quickly, especially if you order ahead. They a so have a drive-thru at this location if you are in even more of a hurry. The customer service at this location though is meh. There is a lot of turn-over and the staff is rarely in a peppy mood (which, I get it, but just being friendly for a moment would do). The cafe is clean, if you are looking for a place to study or work, but your best bet is minimizing your contact with the people who work there and just order ahead and drive through. read more

It was barely 1030am. I had gone there expressly for a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. That's my jam. So it reminded me of the time I went to Panera in Brentwood and they were out of coffee! Panera used to be so good and now it is so awful. Whenever you ask anyone in Bellevue if they've been to the new Panera watch their reaction. You'll see a lot of eye rolling and gnashing of teeth. Open for 2 months and the community hates you. Maybe we should all chip in and buyPanera a mirror so they can take a good hard look at themselves. First let me say I am so happy that Panera chose to be in Bellevue! It is a welcome choice among the Mexican restaurants, fast food joints, local restaurants that could literally share the same "bar food" menus. With that said, I want this place to be successful. I regularly eat their and drive through for the Southwest Chile Lime salad, I am kind of addicted. I agreed to meet a friend there tonight and was really surprised to see the condition of the interior. The kiosk where you can order food and take a light coaster to let you know when your order is ready had not a single one of them. The line was long, and the stack of used dishes placed there by customers was piled high. The tea dispenser were near empty. The table we chose to sit at was dirty. Yuck. We almost left. Ok. That happens. (Not really, but oh well.) I asked if there were any "pumpkin-ey" fall coffee drinks. Answer: nope. Wow! You're batting 1000 here. Ok, let's order a simple latte (I prefer dairy alternative, but it's just a preference so I didn't push my luck). Answer: nope. They have no expresso this morning.
