The Reuben was piled high with meat. I had enough left over for another meal! I couldn't leave without trying the red velvet crinkle cookie, and I'm so glad I did. I saved it to share with my husband when I got home, and it was incredible. I found out the owner's daughter, a Culinary Institute graduate, made it, and you can definitely taste the quality. By the way, there was also another large party in the back room celebrating a birthday. I just don't understand why the owners, who knew about these two large parties in advance, would only have 2 to 3 staff working. I will say that the food was amazing! I guess it was worth the wait. I ordered the catfish with macaroni and cheese and the sweet potato casserole. Everything was delicious. I can't place my finger on what they tasted like. They were just very plain and soggy and not good. So overall, most of the food is good; the staff is nice, but you can tell they are stressed out and overworked. If you're not in any hurry, then you won't mind waiting an hour or more for your food. Just keep ordering drinks or eat a small snack in advance. I don't know if I'd ever return. Definitely I wouldn't return on an empty stomach.
