Not sure what has happened here. It's been awhile since we've been to this location, but it's like the wheels have fallen off. The carpet is really gross and dirty. The coffee is set up on a separate table and not where the designated coffee area is. Half of the coffee was either empty or lukewarm. Not sure if they are really short staffed or what. There was a woman taking her break next to the coffee set up. When we asked her about the coffee as she was walking back to work, she wasn't very excited about answering our question or in any hurry to resolve the situation. Not sure if she really likes her job or wants to be there. I asked if oatmeal was available since it was 11 am and we'd been told there were no more eggs. I was assured I could order oatmeal so I did and paid for it. After dealing with the coffee situation, I was informed that no they didn't have oatmeal and would have to get some from another location. A nice man working there helped the manager (who didn't seem to really know how to offer a solution to the problem) suggest another comparable menu item. Came here to eat Sunday morning about 5 weeks ago during our ATL-to-Los Angeles road trip. Overall, everything was good here. Parking was plentiful in the free shared parking lot that all of the nearby businesses in the shopping center also used. Employees were nice and some greeted customers entering the store. Service was quick and efficient. This Panera Bread location has a lot of indoor spaces, and customers can easily social distance as necessary. I had the bacon, scrambled egg and tomato wrap, which actually looks more like a burrito. The scrambled egg was fluffy, and the tomato was fresh. I like that there is a tangy sauce/dressing added to the food in the wrap. It's probably just Italian dressing, but I think it adds a necessary pop to the food. The wrap was filling. I just wish that more bacon had been added to the wrap. The only other thing that I would have the employees improve on is making sure all the tables are cleaned and sanitized after every use. There were many tables that had remaining from the last customers using the tables. I suggest trying the different breakfast items, which I will also do. Food flavor is great just like any Panera, but one soup was cold and at 7:30pm there was trash every paper all over the floors, I came in from out of town hoping to find a decent establishment and it looked worse than a old mcdonalds ran through with kids. You don't get what you pay for. A bowl of Creamy Tomato and Grilled Cheese sandwich was over $15. For a bowl of soup it was underwhelming. The tomato soup was hot but had a sweet taste. The texture was of curdled milk. The grilled cheese had no flavor at all. No butter taste no cheese taste. BLAND The only bright side was a hunk of French bread they threw in the bag. Very disappointed in our last trip to Panera. Firstly, they were out of every bread so if you wanted a sandwich, out of luck. They were out of almost ever pastry or desert. Once the food arrived it was very mid. LUKEWARM. and then for desert we bought a candy cookie. $3.50 just wasted on this. I don't know how someone could genuinely serve this to a customer. On Dec 28 at 7:20 I ordered 6 sandwiches and 2 large containers of soup to pick up on the 29th at 10:30 AM. I gave my credit card and thought all was good. Later that night the man that took my order called and apologized but he had entered the time to pick up at 10:30 that evening and would not go thru for that time. He then reordered and confirmed my pick up the next day and I thought all was good. My phone started ringing the next morning and I was asked if I had an order, messages were left and they were calling me while I was on the phone with another one of their employees. After about 5 calls they seemed to understand. I arrive to pick up my order and have to pay for it again and it will take 5 days for the first payment the evening before to refund my money. I paid $119 twice for the order that was all screwed up. They did not offer to throw in anything to compensate for their poor communication and mess up. Nothing offered for a discounted future order not even a cup of coffee. Bye Bye, this was awful and they two women there were so inefficient with respect to the poor handling of the order and my having to pay twice. Holiday weekend that will add to the delay. I was told the restaurant is out of romaine lettuce. As a national chain, I would assume that the restaurant would've gone to Sam's Club or a local grocery store until they could get a shipment in. There isn't anything I could possibly complain about. The Broccoli Cheddar Soup is fantastic. I could eat it every day! The Bakery items are always fresh and the service staff is always friendly and welcoming. The online system went down the other day and couldn't order online as usual. Very slow! I have never been to a Panera Bread that took so long to bring out my salad! The cashier was unfriendly and somewhat clueless. She did not listen to me. Very disappointed with my recent experience. The cashier was rude and appeared to have an attitude. No greeting, she only stated "what do you want?" She seemed impatient with my wife figuring out what she wanted to order. I asked for water as my drink she did not tell me where to find the cups, just walked off to buss tables. Love the food at Panera. Fresh and delicious! The NLR location has had no clean tables the last few visits. The staff are standing around talking and joking loudly with one another, but are quick to help if asked directly. This Panera Bread is absolutely outstanding with one exception. Their WiFi has been extremely slow for weeks (less than 1 MBPS). I have mentioned this many times to various managers and their have tried everything on their end. The problem lies squarely on the shoulders of Panera's IT department. I can only assume that they have been aware of this problem for just as long. Maybe they are thinking this is a problem with the number of people accessing the WiFi (common excuse for slow speeds). However, I come to Panera at all times and have run speed tests when their is NO ONE ELSE in the cafe and I get the same result. The confusing thing is that Panera WiFi used to be very fast (greater than 30 MBPS) and suddenly dropped to this unusable speed. What gives IT department? read more
