I came in @ 8am Easter Sunday morning.. only 1 person in front of me and maybe 5 people at one table. I order breakfast soufflé & girl tells me they are out. Does not offer to check if more coming, when it will be coming.. I say "the sign says available til 10:30 am.. another girl in back hears me & come out to tell the girl to at least check with baker in back.. so I wait 20 minutes for them to come out.. BUT then I have to go and ask for my order because the clueless girl can't see they were put on a pan I. Front of her face! So sad to report again that this location continues to go downhill. The cafe is poorly and short staffed. The selection of bakery items is pretty much non existent. This is a Panera that has sold out to the drive thru. I used to visit this location 5-8 times per week for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I also purchased numerous catering orders a month. I had been dissatisfied previously,but as part of my Desire to patronize local again in 2019, I thought I'd check back to see if things had improved. Just the opposite, a further decline. This particular purveyor of pan is particularly popular in my personal preference. Guess who watched Mr Poppers Penguins not once but twice over the break? This girl. But really, this Panera is more homey somehow. It feels different to me than the large flagship-style Paneras. Those have their place, but this one seems much more like the St. Louis neighborhood bakery that gave us Paneras in the first place. The line can sometimes be almost out the door, but that has more to do with the small queuing area than anything else. I'm sure a psychologist could explain to me why this makes me like this Panera more than most. I'm actually not a fan of their bright yellow buildings with big fake facades. They could learn a lesson from Urban Table in my opinion, but that's just me. In any case, this one feels less like a big chain to me. The service is quick and friendly as you'd expect. The food is the same quality carby happiness you've come to crave. The honey and the walnut are just as happily ensconced in their cream cheese as you imagine. I like that they've added the calories right on the menus. It helps me make a better choice, and oddly enough, makes me feel less bad about what I'm eating. I always just assume all of this stuff is a calorie catastrophe, and if I start my morning with it, I'm all like, there goes my calorie plan for the day. Well, these little signs keep me from using one bagely morning as an excuse for an entire day of punishing my waistline. So good call on that, Panera execs. read more

Sandwich was great, but my Mac and cheese was suppose to have bacon and it came without. I also asked for silverware and did not get any! There was a random half slice of bread in my bag which was kinda funny but also weird. No big complaints just a little negligent with the order. read more

I thought maybe the other reviewers were having a bad day. They're not. This PB is worn out, cramped, and difficult to navigate. The order taker get extra credit for looking up the ingredients in one of their soups, but that's about all they have going for them. The sandwiches were "lumps" between two pieces of mangled bread. It's hard to pick up a chicken salad sandwich with torn up bread. Between my two sandwich halves, I found a hair that I know came from neither me nor did I carry it in from one of my pets. (!!!) My colleague had the same lumpy issue with his sandwich, the meat and avacado had to be rearranged before eating. It seems like these folks have either never made a sandwich, never eaten a sandwich, or just cannot be bothered to care. read more

So I don't usually dine in. But I do enjoy the food. I do rapid pick up quite often and I was disappointed when I went to pick up my order and it wasn't on the shelf. I asked and there was a mix up in the order so I totally forgive them. Then I placed another order this week, and I arrive literally one minute early and there's no order on the shelf. I understand I'm not purchasing a hot meal and therefore they're not going to sit it out to get cold. I'm ordering pastries. I order them so that I don't have to stand in line behind the 8 people who are ordering their lunch and can't make up their mind, and so that other customers don't have to wait behind me while I pick and choose what I think my family would like that week. I don't understand why they can't have my pasties ready. I ordered with plenty of of almost 2 hours to gather some bagels. Thank you for the extra bagel cause of the mistake that someone didn't check to see if there was an order to be fill, but seriously, I do the rapid order to save time not sit and wait for you to fill when I walk in and ask for it. read more

Try the bacon-egg-cheese breakfast sandwich, but on FRENCH TOAST BAGEL Savory, touch of sweet -- delicious!!! Hazelnut coffee with generous dash of cinnamon, honey (instead of sugar), and Half & Half -- OMG! The atmosphere remains calm and wonderful if you aim for off-peak hours, be patient if you decide to "hurry in" when everyone else is, also. And for parking patrons (like myself) -- if I am staying for a while, I will not park next to the building. Yep! It's a Panera! What more do you say about a chain restaurant that has diagrams and algorithms on how to make every single menu item? The customer service is decent. I seem to be in a love affair with Panera's mozzarella & tomato panini. This particular Panera makes it just like any other. I'm still trying to figure out why this panini is considered a "signature" panini making it a bit more expensive than others. It's a couple slices of mozzarella cheese and tomatoes. I can't imagine the ingredients warranting a higher price, but I keep ordering it, so oh well. It's delicious. read more

What can I say... It's a Panera Bread. I have spent many Friday mornings this school year getting out of the building for a bit and hanging out with a few colleagues. Our own little breakfast club. (I like to think I'm "the brain.") The options are usually found at most other locations and is as clean and organized as others of the chain I have visited. The staff has always been friendly and quick with the service. However, not much is special about Panera Bread, hence the "meh" rating. read more

I called in to get a large catering order yesterday morning for a customer and the guy who answered the phone sounded extremely lazy and rude. He told me the catering lady was out and he couldn't help me... extremely disappointed. It is his job to complete an order or at least take it down and help satisfy his guests. I have visited this Panera for many years, and it has always been a favorite. Don't know what has happened the last several months, but the service has really gone down. The food remains good, so I continue to go. As just one example of many service problems, one afternoon I counted at least ten tables which had not been cleared while people were looking for a place to sit. Update: Back tonight for a visit. Order a cup of soup with a baguette on the side and am told they are out of baguettes. Pay 99 cents for a croissant to go with my soup. My husband orders a salad with ranch dressing. Sorry, out of ranch. What do you have? Mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup. Really? For a salad? Finally am able to choose a different salad dressing. Orders are delivered and the salad has a BAGUETTE on the side! What do you want to bet they had ranch dressing, too. read more

Always fast and friendly sometimes they run out of product but that's a good thing means they are doing business good and things are in demand it's hard to always plan for the day with perishables such as breads. Not sure about this one. I hate to pile onto some of the reviews but we have had several orders incorrect, and on one occasion a salad that appeared to have something in it that wasn't edible. I will say on my latest take out I did not get 2 salads and the manager will be sending me 2 vouchers. I pass another one when I leave work so it may be time I stop there! Update... The vouchers never came. Nor surprised as they probably forgot to put it in the mail. read more

I stopped in to give a review for the Rockwell Panera because they have really improved. My chicken soup took too long and the manager went out of her way to help. I always go to this location and have had problems in the past. They are getting much better. Restaurant was clean, food was perfect, and staff took care of my problem in a way that they did not have to. read more

When I called the store and talked with the manager, she was extremely rude and was obviously not wanting to assist me with my problem. She did not apologize once that this occurred. The clerk taking orders told me they could not make a simple turkey, cheese, and mayo on a panini, with no veggies, and that I would have to choose from the items as they were listed on the big board (menu). It was two pieces of bread, with turkey, cheese, and mayo between them! That's a pretty simple sandwich! I'm done with Panera!! There are a dozen better sandwich shops out there anyway! I work right across the street so I come here for lunch very often. For a long time, the food quality was pretty good, at least a 3-star. However, my co-workers and I have noticed that things have really gone downhill in the last few months. The salads are smaller and look so haphazadardly made. Their small chicken pasta was TINY! Sure, I eat a lot, but that couldn't satisfy a toddler! Lastly, I came in at 8AM one morning and they were already out of oatmeal! And they girl was not even nice about it! It took us ten minutes to order because when I asked for Napa chicken Salad she told me they were put, so I had to pick something else out, and when I chose something else and requested a croissant, she disappeared into the back without saying anything to check on if they were out of them, too. She finally showed up again and said I got the last one. So we placed our order then I hear employees in the kitchen yelling multiple times that they were out of croissants, so the cashier yells back that there's one. If you love getting the wrong food, incorrect orders, missing pieces of your food, etc. then THIS is the PB for you! It's not a coincidence. It's not a "one time issue", it's repetitive. You can nearly guarantee your order will be wrong. And don't count on checking it at the window. Just because the item is in the bag doesn't mean it's what you ordered! Or maybe it's only part of what you ordered. So ultimately if you like paying for something you WON'T get then you've found your new favorite restaurant. read more

I asked the lady working to fill an order to go...a call in ... could they open a second cashier. She said everyone was busy. I turned around and walked out. This is typical at this location. Our experience today was not the greatest. I think the expectation for Panera Bread is higher than most so I will not give a bad review however there could be improvements. Our bread on both the soup bowl and the bread with the pasta was too hard to eat. The pasta was very oily. The clam chowder was amazing and the tuna sandwich was just as good! The staff was very friendly at the drive thru and for the most it was enjoyable... but I would expect the bread to be the best. We will give it another shot next week ;) read more

The interior of this Panera versus the one by my house on western is vastly different. It's a little darker and they have a fireplace. The staff here is definitely better. Everyone knows food is great, but in mornings it is impossible to get anything in a hurry. They are busy but it is their process that is obviously broken. Also, forget about ordering online for quick pickup . I tried it two days in a row and my order was not even started 30 minutes after ordering. Corporate needs to correct their entire food prep and delivery process. Starbucks will have to be my choice now for online order for quick morning pickup. read more

This Panera location is terrible. They are always out of something. Yesterday, I tried ordering soup in a bread bowl only to be told they were out of bread bowls. So I ordered a bowl of soup only to be told they are out of bowl lids so they couldn't sell that either. I asked if soup was off the menu, and she said I could order a cup of soup, which I did. Only to be told they are out of the baguette bread that comes with the cup of soup. A cup of soup is almost $5. The only thing that justifies the high cost is the complimentary bread. Today we ordered from Panera using the Panera app. We were extremely disappointed by the service - or lack of! We had a $50 + order and by the time it was finally delivered an hour later and all of the hot food had to be re-heated because it was all cold, the delivery guy asked us to review the order before he left. We let him know that 2 of our sandwiches were missing. We told the delivery guy who responded "well call them and they will have it delivered." He didn't do anything! What was the point of asking us to check the order if he isn't going to do anything about it?! When we called back it took almost 5 minutes to get a person on the phone. We told them about the missing sandwiches and we were told was that the order would be delivered once a delivery guy was available - oh and they would throw in some cookies. We will never use Panera delivery again and i will think twice about giving them my business. read more

Ordered lunch for my team at work and drove 30 minutes to pick it up. 2 meals were missing from the order. After calling the restaurant, they said they could not deliver the missing items nor could they give us a credit for the missing items. They said we would need to drive back to the store to get the credit. This is the second time this has happened to us. They said they would mail us a coupon. Very disappointing. read more
