Great Panera location! Always clean and there's ample seating indoors with some tables with umbrellas outside too. I always enjoy Panera so the review on the food applies to all locations. You can't go wrong with a bowl of their broccoli cheddar soup -- like ever. This location has great parking space too.

    Burnt bagel and cheese. 3/11/25.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Ambiance was not considered since I went through the drive-thru. Food: Ordered breakfast, Asiago Bagel Sausage Egg, and Cheese. The cheese was horribly burnt, the sauce patty must be turkey and not pork. Horrible sandwich. Bagel was burnt. The same with the Scrambled eggs Bacon Croissant sandwich. Service: The young lady at the drive thru obviously doesn't want to be there. People say try Panera. I did. It was horrible food and I paid $17.00 to have a bad breakfast.

Mozzarella cheese is thinner than the tomato slices - very disappointing... nothing like what's advertised on your website for the Garden Caprese Melt - my sandwich was not melted either - skimpy filling didn't warrant two pieces of bread.

Half order. Looks good but under the top layer is mostly hard inner core lettuce ribs.

Livin' the drive thru life. This Panera in Rancho Cordova, is one of the few that have a drive thru. And it's not too far or cumbersome to get to from Highway 50. Easy enough to get to. But the drive thr ordering/pickup window is physically immediate after the right turn. So if you don't angle your car close enough, you'll be stretch armstronging. And it doesn't help if you have TRex arms. I've been stopping by here occasionally throughout the years. Customer service has been great. But the food quality is a hit or miss. On my last visit, the BLT was a dismal representation of a sandwich. It had two thin, short, see thru, microwave type bacon. But they served the bacon ice cold. Interesting Panera choice. The lettuce was an arugula salad mix. Another interesting Panera choice. The tomato slice was super thin. The bread was delicious, but doesn't make up for the lackluster sandwich. We also ordered a half order of Greek salad and half chicken Napa salad sandwich. The salad was chock full of the hard core of inner romaine lettuce. Odd the romaine had the core without the leafy green part as it seemed to be sliced off. Another interesting Panera choice. The chicken Napa is my favorite all time sandwich at Panera. But like the BLT, it was a sad sandwich. It was loaded with arugula salad mix but where's the chicken ?!? It had hardly any chicken salad on the sandwich.

Good ol'faithful Panera! Consistent and tasty for the most part. Nothing really bad to say, I always enjoy the new sandwiches and the seasonal items. My wife and I saw the commercial for the new dippers and so we went and got them for dinner. Not enough soup though but I ordered and side French onion anyways. I'd get it again!

The kiosks were dirty so it was good that they still have someone at the counter to take your orders. The soup, sandwiches and salads are good. Plenty of seating available and the staff are friendly and quick. This is the spot for a quick and good lunch. Prices are a bit high though for what you get.

Panera do better this is a $15 dollar sandwich and I literally have more peppers than meat. Very sad the food quality and quantity here was declined so much

I really love their Chicken Roma Asiago Bagel Stack! It's the first thing I ever tried at Panera, and I have been sticking with it as much as I enjoyed it, plus it's only $7.99 which is a steal. I always ordered ahead of time and came pick up, so I never had any issues like others.

    Frontega chicken

I went to the dinner last night and this is worst experience I ever had. Ordered pick two half Frontega chicken sandwich and half tomato soup. We went 8:5 minutes before closing, so I asked manager is it ok to place the order? He said drive thru will be open until 10 PM so I am good. Here is what I got in frontega chicken. Literally two pieces of chicken.

    Tuna Asiago bagel

I have ordered thru the app 3 times, same order tuna on Asiago bagel. Every time this is what I got. Maybe a teaspoon of tuna. 3 strikes and your out. Won't be going back.

Nothing says don't accept bills over $20.

This is a luxury. $20/large sandwich. Life isn't cheap. Things like this is a treat. So I took my son out to lunch. I asked to change the turkey for ham on a club sandwich, which already has ham, and is the cheaper meat.... and was told I would have to build the sandwich from scratch for $2 more. I wasn't asking for more meat, I wasn't asking to ADD meat, I was asking to simply change the more expensive meat for the cheaper lunch meat. Cashier standoffish, definitely didn't care about customer service, just a flat No build it yourself. Ok. No ty. Again, already a $20 sandwich. No thank you. When the sandwiches were ready, after at least 5 peoplewho came in behind us, another girl called out my name, but incorrect, no big deal. I stated mine in question form and she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and handed it to the cashier who handed it to me. I dont know what it was today, but even my child said it. He said everyone working was just "hella rude" and made him uncomfortable to want to return. Honestly, me too. Sandwiches, amazing. Everytime. Service? I could pass on the attitude. No accommodation or explanation to customers for a request, only an uncharge? Again, I could pass on that. The last two beat out the first everyday. The owner used to be in so often, all the workers were so nice, it was like the Dutch Bros of sandwich shops Not worth it for the price.

They offer a variety of sandwiches with ingredient combinations that will please any sandwich lover. I love their Italian and especially that you can add roasted red peppers, olives, and pepperoncini to them. My husband typically gets the Italian or their Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The large may seem expensive, but it's huge and definitely enough for two meals. They also offer salad options and soups, along with cookies and a great tasting pasta salad. There's plenty of tables to eat inside, but we typically take ours to-go. We always stop at the convenience store that's attached for more drinks and snacks.

Shortly after my initial visit, we ordered a few more bagels, and they were so hard they were essentially inedible. Considering the price, it was very disappointing. I first tried calling the shop but couldn't get through, so I stopped by and spoke with the owners in person. They were kind, listened to my concerns, and seemed genuinely open to feedback, which I appreciated. However, what disappointed me most was that they didn't offer to replace the bagels or provide a refund. As a customer who paid for food that wasn't edible, I felt that would have been the appropriate response. I genuinely didn't want to change my review because I know they're a newer business, but I also don't think it's right to leave a 5-star review that no longer reflects my experience. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and improve, because I really wanted this place to succeed.

The day we went, we were looking for sandwiches to eat. Seeing the active smoker outside, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was BBQ Day! The drinks were refreshing, the sides were so good I ordered more to go, and the meats were very tender & juicy. There was also a side of complimentary pickles that came with the meats that were quite tasty! My only criticism was the cornbread, hubby liked it but I thought it was too dry. Looking at the containers, it doesn't look like a lot of meat but we did have some leftovers. I see that their menu varies so I need to check them out soon and try their other BBQ offerings. I ordered a large chili and their Big Al's pocket which included pastrami, turkey, bacon, lettuce, onions, brown mustard and provolone but I substituted the cheese with pepper jack and added bell peppers. The food was good although for the price point I felt like it was a little higher compared to somewhere like Corti Bros. I personally wasn't blown away but nothing was bad. They also blamed the bread being too small as the reason I couldn't add any additional veggies which I thought was a little odd but understood since they use pita bread pockets which can't fit as much as a traditional bread roll. My total after tax was like 23 bucks for the chili and sandwich. The service was fast and mostly friendly though with a lunch rush crowd type of ambiance. If they lowered the prices a little, I might have felt more inclined to leave 4 stars. I also said "finally" earlier to try them because I'm rarely ever in the area on weekdays so they're usually closed whenever I'm nearby on weeknights and weekends because they're only open from 9 to 4 Monday through Friday. Overall, I'd probably try them again if I'm ever in the area when they're actually open. Their menu did seem diverse with regards to pocket sandwich fillings and side dishes. I think I was just expecting more judging by the prices compared to other sandwich spots that have bigger options for around the same price or even less.

Feeling nostalgic, I recently decided to have lunch here. I asked for a Cougar with pastrami instead of turkey. "You want a number 26?" (Looks at menu) "Yes, with pastrami instead of turkey." "Number 26, right?" When I had walked in, I saw two girls cleaning. One of them had stopped to take my order. After taking my order, she continued to clean for exactly ten minutes before stopping, washing her hands, and beginning to prepare my sandwich. (I'm positive that it was exactly ten minutes before she even *started* to make my sandwich, because I get a text message the minute my card is charged, so it's easy to just look at the text, and see how much time has elapsed.) As she finished making my sandwich, another guest came in. After she placed her order, the second girl washed her hands, and both girls made her sandwich together. While I had waited nearly fifteen minutes for my sandwich, this girl waited for less than two. It was so odd. As I ate my sandwich, both girls behind the counter stared at me so hard that I seriously wondered if they had done something funky to my sandwich. So, all of that was very strange. But the sandwich was good. None of the ingredients were missing. The veggies were all in ridiculously tiny quantities in comparison to the super smearing of sauce, but, it was all there, and it tasted good. When it comes to sandwiches, in terms of the meat, you get what you pay for. Sandwich Spot uses cheaper meat than some fancier delis do, but they also use a larger quantity of it. So, if you would rather have a large amount of okay pastrami versus a medium amount of great pastrami, then, Sandwich Spot is the spot for you. If you're really into premium lunch meat, though, this isn't it. The pastrami tasted like it could have come from the fridge section at Winco or Walmart. Overall, for a cheaper/lower-end sandwich place, Sandwich Spot is still one of my favorites. I love their menu, and haven't found a sandwich quite like the Cougar anywhere else.

I ordered the Barracuda, and my wife got the General Lee. Both sandwiches were served on Dutch crunch rolls that were so hard, they were nearly inedible -- my wife couldn't even finish hers because the bread hurt her mouth. Mine left the roof of my mouth sore, but I pushed through since it wasn't exactly a cheap meal. The fillings didn't help either -- the meat tasted like it had been sitting for a while especially the roast beef, and the vegetables were wilted and lifeless. The macaroni salad tasted identical to the store-bought Reser's brand, with that unmistakable aftertaste, which was disappointing. Overall, nothing felt fresh. Everything had the vibe of being prepped a day or two ago and just left to sit. I truly wish we had just gone to the grocery store instead. Sadly, this place didn't live up to the memories, and I won't be returning. Lesson learned.
