We usually order online to save time and to avoid long waits, but whenever we order online, it is never ready within the timeframe. Tonight when I went to pick up our to go order, they called my name and it was the completely wrong order for totally separate person. My order was finally ready about 15 minutes later and everything was thrown inside the bag. The food portions for the cost are not a good value at all. When you order a bowl of soup instead of a cup, it is a very tiny bowl that feels like it's the same size as a cup and they do not fill it all the way and they do not put any of the toppings or meat, it's just broth. Favorable: I come here often to hang out while reading. I'm vegan so not many options that are a value once you've removed the meat and cheese because you don't get discounts or substitutions. That being said, the sip club is convenient, and the Mediterranean sandwich is good because it allows you to add extra arugula or peppers to it. Service is great. Unfavorable: it's not a clean environment. The booths and walls in the booths have food smears and other random ick. I recently noticed a sweet n low packet laying in the plastic area behind the booth seat and below where your back rests. I left it there out of curiosity and actually came on a daily basis. It sat there for two weeks before I finally took mercy on it and threw it out. This was my first indication that they don't clean their booths. Since then, I sit in chairs, but their tables often are not clean either so I've decided to just sit outside. Hey folks my review is on the specific Panera location below Food: For the last couple of weekends, I've been visiting Panera Bread SB (North Varsity/univ parkway) While visiting in the area. I am hooked on the Chicken Rancher on black pepper focaccia sandwhich Warm sandwich and they can add on the side something you may want for the sandwich if they have it.. The salads are good also. Service is good and most customer service employees go out of the way to accommodate.. The food prep staff are fairly quick with turning out orders, even at the drive thru..However, a tip would be to check your bag that all items are in there especially smaller items like spreads and chips etc.. I had things missing a couple of times.. if you catch it they are good at correcting the error. If you want pastries, get in there before eve as it seems they only make a certain amount and that goes for favorite items as well. Ambiance: Average only with an interesting drive thru. If you're not careful turning into the lot, you could Miss Panera's drive thru altogether.. Outdoor eating area, not a fan of the setting.. also, I do believe this Panera is new to that area.. Within the last few years I've visited Panera bread I've made a favorite to go item I really love which is the tuna sandwich. I went here the other day and have discovered something truly disappointing! I ordered from the you choose two meal deal as per usual and of course ordered my favorite sandwich . The Panera in Redlands has the best customer service, and the friendliest customers too! It's what makes the ambiance here best of all Panera's in the inland Empire. In regards to food, I am happy that here I'm able to get the food with the best protein and nutrients and in regards to my sip club, the staff works quickly to refill coffee as needed or requested. Someone should have told me that it was going to be a wait for the Mac and cheese, gave me a time frame and asked if was okay with waiting, I would have said yes and that would have been polite and professional. I showed up about 8:10-8:15. Left at 8:40. I haven't been to this location in years, my daughter wanted the bowl randomly for dinner. As we waited in the front sitting down, I witnessed a group of women order at the kiosk, we all heard someone tell some girl in a joking way that she was good for nothing. The women all looked surprised. Saw another older man wait to ask someone for a to go bowl, no one was in the front as he was just waiting. When someone came out, she told him where the bowls were at by pointing and explaining. It was obvious he didn't know where she was talking about and she just let him be confused. I walked over and showed him where, what she should have done. Another couple just waiting to be helped in the front for a while, as we can hear everyone in the back talking, laughing, being loud. You can definitely tell this is a "night crew" and why they are there at night, closing. Whoever was running the shift last night needs to step it up. Customer service was non existent. The middle bite was tasty, but not impressive. I would not pay $12+ for this sandwich again, when there are other chicken sandwiches around. My wife had the Fuji Apple salad and it was good. They happily accommodate dietary restrictions and make alterations to suit your needs/ preferences. I've never had an order made incorrectly. I love stopping by here for a breakfast bagel and their smoothies are really good too! Most entrees come with sides that can be customized, so be sure to ask for different options. Service: Always on point. Fast, hospitable service with no complaints. One time when I went to pick up my to-go order of bagels, they were out and let me pick a different bakery item instead! Parking: There are curbside spots for pick up orders and tons of parking in the lot. Wifi: Free, available, and best of all - it's fast! Easy to connect to and I've never had an issue with it. For work or gatherings the dozen bagels and cream cheese, is a super alternative to the traditional box of donuts. My fav is the blueberry bagel. This has a chewy outside crust and a moist center with ample blueberries. I also like the low calorie cream cheese. For lunch or dinner my go to is the Pick 2. I get a 1/2 turkey and cheese sandwich and a Greek salad. This is enough to fill me up. The sandwich bread is average, but the turkey and cheese are fresh and tasty. The lettuce on the sandwich and salad are consistently fresh. For the salad the ingredients are fresh. But the salad dressing, which we ask for on-the-side, is quite good: herbal and tangy. Sometimes I use it as dipping oil for my baguette. If you have the Greek salad as an entrée, you can add items such as quinoa or a protein. Recently we ate on the outdoor patio. For being adjacent to a parking lot and driveway it was quite quiet. And there was shade! read more

I'm part of the sip club so I visit several paneras during the week. This is by far the worst one. Always dirty and the service is excruciatingly slow. Sometimes I have to wait 15+ minutes just to get a cup. And the staff is usually short when you ask for help. I don't blame the workers. Yes, I spent four years in Brooklyn NYC once upon a time, but if we are to accept the premise it's not fair to compare Panera to real bagels -- then -- how about the fact I prefer ALDI's packaged bagels over Panera's fresh? Bagels have to have both a light 'bready' experience combined with a dense gooey chewy sensation. Once toasted ALDI pulls this off. PANERA lacks the gooey chewy and comes off as simply bread shaped like a bagel. And I'd now like to reject the premise that it's 'okay' for PANERA to not serve real bagels. Why? THEY'RE A NATIONWIDE CHAIN, Thank You. What -- they can't afford to learn how to do it the right way and master it? WHY NOT? So I know Panera offers a lot more than bagels, true, and again they do a solid job in that area. But they've had enough time. Pick your lazy butts up, buy a good bagel store in NYC, and duplicate what they do nationwide. read more

Normally visit the one on Hospitality, but order on line from this one because it was on our way home. Alexis was the manager trainee and I called to complain about the order (the small things wrong with out order but it wasn't what we ordered) which was $70+. When I started to inform this person about what was wrong she was immediately on the defensive and took absolutely zero concern for the issues I was addressing. Her condescending attitude and comebacks really 'teed me and my comment to her about "my sandwich looking like shit" was not appropriate but this trainee needs to get a little more customer service training so she can appreciate the customers business and at least act like my issue is her concern. I wasn't looking for a reimbursement and definitely not driving 20 minutes to go back, she could have peased me by acknowledging my complaint, apologized and asked if there was anything she could do to make it better. 1 cuz I can't leave zero Ordered 3 - bacon egg and cheese on brioche, made wrong first time realized when we got home went back they kindly offered to remake and offered me pastry, which I declined the pastry just wanted my sandwiches made correctly. Handed the remade sandwiches, left went to my car started to drive home, hadn't left parking lot. Decided to look at sandwiches, they were all still missing BACON the first word in the sandwich.. I go back to show them the sandwiches, & I am accused (by the gal who made them wrong twice) of "removing avocado" then I am offered a cup of bacon, yep a cup of bacon... I've always enjoyed the beagles with a nice hazelnut cup of coffee; morning or evening specially when I am just skipping dinner and would like something warm for my stomach. Seems like since post Covid "Panera Bread" is always with no beagles or maybe a selection of several,one or two types of beagles. It's truly a hit and miss with most of the time a missed!
