I have become a fan of Panera ever since their "free coffee" offer. I have enjoyed free coffee for all of July and August. I think I'll even keep it when they start charging $8.99 a month for it in September. It's nice to be able to get free coffee whenever I want-up to every two hours! They really knew what they were doing -by offering free coffee all summer, I have also become much more familiar with their food offerings. I love the breakfast sandwiches on Ciabatta bread-and I can add spinach & tomato for free. It's delicious! I also love the 1/2 Tuna sandwich on Ciabatta with the Vegetable Soup. I was getting it as a "you pick two", but they added it as one of their "Duo's" which is only $5.99! A great savings-I do miss adding customizations to the sandwich (not allowed when purchased as the Duo). I usually add fresh mozzarella, Fresh Basil and Cilantro to mine. But for the savings, I can go without those items. I do occasionally just get the free coffee, but usually find I'm hungry too lol. A toasted bagel with butter is only $1.49, so getting both coffee and a bagel for $1.49 is a great deal. I like the curbside pickup too-they usually bring my food right out. I'm there about 4-5 times a week now lol. One other thing about frequent ordering-you earn free bakery items too! read more

Me and my husband came here to pick up Two bowls of soup for lunch. Around 2:10 on a Wednesday afternoon. It took nearly 30 minutes to get our to go order. I know Panera's can get hectic but that is just ridiculous. For bowls of soup?! Smh. Never again. read more

I'm very disenchanted with Panera. After ordering from the kiosk and waiting for 15 minutes for a bagel and coffee I went to the counter to inquire about my order. One of the counter persons said that the pager has to be on the table for it to work. I just looked at her and told her I know that and it's been sitting on the table for 15 minutes. I mean how long does it take to get a bagel and coffee. So I asked for a mug for coffee and one of the counter people said that they were too busy and there are some on the counter by the coffee. I stepped aside so she could see the counter. "Uuuhhh...no there's not." I said. The two girls just looked at each other and continued to slice bagels and one went into the back room. So I just stood there thinking she went to get mugs but she came out with a bag. I asked if she knew how long it would be before they could get coffee mugs. She reached under the counter and handed me one. I looked at her and said, " Really?" Then, an older man was refilling his disposable cup said, "This is a minimalist society. You've got to get used to it." I looked at him and said, "No, sir. If that's being a minimalist I refuse. It's just that people have made allowances for others to be irresponsible and accepting of poor service. I will never accept people who quit trying to better themselves." I practically got an applause from two women behind me. One of the counter people went over to see where my bagel was and brought it to me. I asked for cream cheese and she said there's a charge for the cream cheese. I just rolled my eyes. She gave me a tiny container of cream cheese and said we won't charge you for it. Ugh!!! I have been here many times and am very familiar with the portion sizes. With that being said, I paid $8 for a whole grilled cheese sandwich that was not even 2 inches long or wide. It was pathetic. When I went to calmly ask why it was far smaller than I've ever had before, I was told that that's just how the bread is baked so it is what it is. Even the girl handing out the food looked at the sandwich in confusion. My friends also received very small portion sizes as if they were running out of food. The blond girl handing out the food was extremely rude, I'm not one to go back and complain but the way she treated me deserved a bad review. I will not be coming here again. read more

Attempted to go to Panera for soup on Sunday night since I had not been feeling well. Online it says that this location does not close until 9:30pm. At 8:45pm the doors were already locked and the staff was closing down the establishment. I watched as at least 4 other cars pulled up and were also met with locked front doors. Not sure why an establishment can close 45 minutes early with not so much as a sign on the door but it does not reflect well on the staff or management. read more

My Wife & I just ate there , The food was good as usual. The bus girl Julia was fantastic, my wife confused her order, did not shake Julia at all, she gave several options to correct the mistake problem solved . Company should invest in hair nets and reading lessons. Ordered Mac and cheese for my daughter and found a long blonde hair it in. (We are all brunettes.) Ordered 3 sandwiches online...They got 1/3 of them correct. The 3 Turkey BLTs we ordered no longer have slices of Turkey, it is now random small pieces of Turkey, the lettuce that was extremely wilted and the avocado was very brown. Complete rip off and false advertising. Will try the Yucaipa location when it opens. We'll see if it's a chain issue or if it's just this particular location. So disappointing. read more

Service sucks, went back in to order another lemonade and all the workers including the manager where to busy making sandwiches to come to the counter and ask if I needed help or to take my order. Every single time we go there's something gone something missing from are order more times than not and they will never admit it lol today we ordered food to go to the airport when we got it we went straight there and when we opened our food there was a small Mac&cheese when we ordered a large bread bull with Mac and cheese and they didn't give us any silverware to eat are soup we had to eat it with are hada so it didn't get cold and then when we called them they said they wouldn't do anything about it. read more

Loved the place until...... Placed a delivery order. An item was forgotten. I called, they apologized, told me I could go and pick it up. "If I could do that, I would have placed the order for pick up. I can't." We'll credit your next order. "Will I get an email confirming this? No "How do I know my next order will be credited?" We'll make a note. "I don't trust that. Please refund my credit card" We can't do that. "What?" I wrote the Panera Co., told my story. I was given a $5.00 reward for my next order. My NEXT order. Again, my money held for ransom. Plus, the reward was really only $1.00 because they still owe me $4.00. Yes, the amount stolen is small but it's still theft. I usually enjoy their food. Today I tried the southwest chicken tortilla soup. It's awful. Tastes like a beef broth. None of the chili flavors you'd expect. However my kids loved the Mac and cheese and I also ordered a tomato mozzarella flatbread that was tasty. The regular lemonade was too sour for my kids. read more

This was my very first time to Panera. I know... Crazy. It was interesting to see that it was a restaurant setting yet you ordered at the front. The cashier who took our order was very nice and she allowed me to sample their soups before I committed to one because I had told her it was my first time. The food was delicious... I enjoyed everything that I ordered. The ambiance was nice as well. It's a little pricey in my opinion but you definitely get what you pay for. I will be back soon! read more

Is this a restaurant or a fricken library? I walk in the door for dinner and a study group is taking up one room and maybe half of them actually bought anything, and there are no open tables other than a couple 2 person tables. Two separate students are sprawled out in their own separate 4 person booths by themselves. It's really rude. I realize this is not Panera's fault per se. Just be prepared to take your food to go, because it is usually busy/occupied by rude people. On to the food. Most everything I had was good, except there was a big disgusting hard piece of chicken in my panini. I don't know if it was burnt skin or what, but it was attached to the meat. My wife said she will never order a panini after seeing that. The salad and soups are a good bet. I LOVE their iced tea. Cookies are good too. If you plan ahead you can order beforehand and pick up your food at a specified time. That's probably the smartest. read more

I didn't actually order anything- except for coffee, because I came here to study. This location is big with plenty of seating; it is also well kept. They offer free and unlimited wi-fi. I read somewhere on Yelp that Panera has a two hour internet limit- this is not the case, well, at least not at this location. Also, they sell refillable coffee for $1.79. read more

May 10, 2019. Today, when I walked up to the front counter there were 2 cashiers standing there, one was looking towards the bakery counter, the other was talking to a customer. After the young lady finished taking the customer's food order, she walked away, and didn't bother to greet me. I waited another 4 minutes for one of the employees to say "May I take your order". Finally, someone from the kitchen walked out and said, have you been helped yet?" Then I finally ordered my food from the cashier Dakota at 2.54pm. After I was seated in the dining room, it took about 15 minutes to get my 1/2 a sandwich and a bowl of soup. I was not impressed with the customer service today. In the dining room, I watched several groups of teenagers come in, get free drinks from the soda fountain, sit down and not order anything to eat. So, they were just hanging out, drinking the free soda from Panera. There were about 10 teenagers doing this because the high school had just been released for the day. When I mentioned the problem to the Shift Supervisor, a young lady with blonde hair wearing a white collared shirt, she said "Oh, we let the high school kids come here to hang out after school, because we have free wi-fi and free drinks for them". Seriously disappointed in Panera's new noodle bowls. I don't care for mushrooms or onions and I wasn't allowed to order one without them. I was told they are prepped ahead of time. I love pho, so was excited about trying the noodle broth bowl. Panera is seriously limiting their clientele by pre prepping their bowls and requiring you get it one way. Your fresh squeezed orange juice is sublime (and if its not its damn good anyway) and your pecan twists make me want to purchase all 6 displayed because i could easily eat all of them in one sitting. I eat at Panera's across the country and this has been my favorite so far! The morning visited was a busy Sunday and everyone on staff was happy and friendly. The manager was visible and INVOLVED! I should hate this place. They pull out prepackaged portions of meat when they make you a sandwich. It's a chain. Nothing but the baked goods seem fresh. The visit tonight was not something I was expecting. First, there are three self-ordering kiosks, but only two were working. I noticed that the line moved faster than two other people on the kiosks in front of me. There was no nutrition information on the green tea drink I ordered on the kiosk screen. I expected that it was naturally sweetened by passion fruit and papaya. Then, my name appeared on the large vertical-oriented screen at the rapid shelf. It took a bit under Preparing, but that is okay. However, when my name was under Ready, I did not see my drink, up until I had to ask about my order. What I did not know that I had to serve the drink myself. That was fine, but I did not have the large cup. I had to ask again and then, the empty large cup appeared. Then, I thought the green tea tasted pretty good, until I realized that it had added sugar. I was not expecting that at all because of the infusion of two fruits and Panera's commitment of having healthy and GMO-free products, like High Fructose Corn Syrup. Having a name of syrup next to a ingredient, is not considered natural or healthy by any means. However, I had wished that cane syrup was not being used. Oh Panera, you make the best Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, I have ordered the you pick 2 faithfully for years and while we have had our ups and downs, like the accidental orders, incredibly rude service and moldy tomatoes in my food I had to step away. However I missed your sandwich and asked someone to pick me up my typical order since I would still be in class til past closing time. Driving home, starving to death I kept thinking about the delicious sandwich and soup waiting for me. The first bite was stale bread and lettuce, so I investigated my sandwich and there was barely any chicken. Guys is this how you treat take home orders? I've eaten at your restaurant before and this is about 1/3 of the chicken I get at the store. Not cool guys. It's time to step it up. P.s.
