Keep in mind weed is legal in Washington. We ordered two sandwiches and a soup and a drink for dine in. Forgot to give us a pager so when we sat down and noticed everyone else had a pager we went back up and were told that they just forgot to give us one but they knew where we were and that it would be brought to us like usual, no big deal. We watched every table around us after that have to send something back to the kitchen or bring out something that was forgotten so we expected to have something unusual with our meal when it arrived. After hearing a name similar to mine get called on the other side of the restaurant a few times we went over and they had bagged it all up and were calling for us to come pick it up. So we did. We went back to our table and unpacked it. The soup came with a fork, the apple wasn't sliced but again no big deal just another trip across the restaurant to get a spoon but one of the sandwiches instead of having sauce and cheese and tomato and meat and arugula was just bread and arugula. We took another trip back across the restaurant to get this taken care of. When we got back to our table a nice lady came over and said if you come up to the front we will get you a pastry to make up for it. So another fun excursion through the place to get a pastry. We picked out a bear claw because they were the only thing that appealed to us at the time and were told they would bring it over. When it was brought over it was instead of a bear claw a pecan roll thing. It was so hilarious at this point we didn't even send it back or say anything because we hit the why even bother let's just get out of here point and as we were cleaning up all the bags that the "to go" meal was packed in we realized we were still waiting on the sandwich they were remaking. We did eventually get the sandwich and asked for it to go this time and it was made correctly. So alls we'll that ends well? read more

This is the worst sandwich shop I have ever had the misfortune of eating at. I ordered a whole grilled cheese they brought me half and that half had picked up stuff off their dirty cutting board. For a company that advertise the healthy whole food approach without additives and perservitives than they use processed cheese on their grilled cheese. they only grilled one side it looked and tasted like velveta. i can make a grilled cheese that tastes 1000% better than that. plus you a whole sandwich and a bowl of soup and its 2 orders.... people not everyone eats just a half sandwich . 31 bucks for 2 people and get crap like that i wont be back read more

Great service! I ordered online and was going to go in to pick up the order until my 11 month old fell asleep in the car. I called to see if anyone would be gracious enough to run the order out. Shante was sweet enough to stop what she was doing and come to my rescue. It is rare these days to find someone who is kind and truly just wants to help. Never had issues with this Panera location until pretty recently. Always change in staff, I understand training may take some time. But there's usually only one person at the register no matter what time of day however busy it may get which definitely slows everything down with the line to the door. Rapid order pick ups are never ready when I arrive. Only go to Panera due to convenience but it's been such a hassle when I order online in hopes to not wait but end up waiting anyway. read more

One of the cashiers was rude telling me to move. They got our order wrong but corrected it, which was alright. They forgot the salad and a cookie. We did get a bigger salad and an extra sandwich though, because of the mistake. They also gave an extra cookie for forgetting about the first one. I can't remember if I had went to a Panera Bread in San Francisco when I lived there but at any rate, this is my first time - in quite some time - if at all, and it DID NOT disappoint! I live in South Seattle now, and this was a quick car ride to Renton Landing where there are a lot of great restaurants, but boy this is a great lunch spot for sure! There 'pick 2' option is definitely the way to go and I got the absolutely scrumptious the roasted turkey apple cheddar sandwich was amazing as was the thai chicken salad that I paired with it. I. its a hard pill to swallow when i know i'm spending $10 for a cup of soup and half a sandwich. but at panera... i believe you're paying more for the convienence of not having to make soup and half a sandwich. and seeing that i don't bat an eye when i pay $5 for someone to park my car... $10 for a soup and sandwich isn't too big of a deal. the place is always clean - the bread is always fresh - and i've never met someone there that isn't helpful, friendly, or in a bad mood. its even better that its right across the street from my house! so added/ plus for location! the only reason i don't give it 4 or even 5 stars is that, there really isn't anything about panera that blows me away. everything is good - far from great. but a-ok in my book! read more

Dont do pick up here. They obviously made my food really early and my food was cold when I got it. I also got the chipotle chicken sandwich which comes with avocado and the sandwich was falling apart because instead of sliced avocado it was a whole half.. I highly recommend the Panera in Bellevue they are always on top of it and never sloppy like this location. Also I asked the manager for a water cup and I was watched like a hawk like i was about to steal soda. read more

I think having Panera at The Landing is a great choice. Although I don't eat breads/pastries much (crazy, I know!) I've tried a few from here and they're pretty good! Normally I get some sort of soup and sandwich combo, and I've never been disappointed. I like the dining area especially too. Plenty of space it seems like, cozy and pretty clean. read more

Panera's are springing up everywhere and with good reason. The food choices are generally healthier, they're quick, and it's good food. I always order the same thing, tuna on sourdough. That's it. I can always count on consistent quality at any Panera, and I've been to a few across the country from Mobile, to Wichita and back here again. This Renton Panera is no different. It's good. My only gripe is that when I order, I just want to order, and not go through a question-answer period. Starting with "Are you a Panera cardholder?" "No, can I just order my lunch? I'm starving." I have no complaints about the food but I do have an issue with the fact that they run out of baguettes sometimes. It's called Panera BREAD, how do you run out of bread?? Within the last 6-8 months, there were three times at this location they ran out of french baguettes. My only option was getting chips/apple. I do not want to eat Chips/apple when I'm eating pasta so I was pretty annoyed. I even emailed Panera Bread and wasn't even offered anything. I would think they would want to try and please their customers but I guess not. For that, I rarely come back to this location. I usually venture out to the location in Southcenter; they never have run out of bread when I go there :) read more

Like almost every Panera I have been to lately, this location has slipped in service and product considerably. At breakfast a week ago, I watched four people, myself included, bring orders back up because they were wrong. Mine? A sandwich with bacon in which the bacon was one, one-inch long shriveled piece of bacon. And last night we stopped in to buy two bagels for the morning. Doors were propped partway open by squishing up the mats in between them. No one in line, workers standing around. Two people at a table, eating. Order was wrong. Really? You can't put two correct bagels in a bag? I'm done with this place. I don't know what's going on. Used to be the best place to eat. Not anymore. Floors are dirty and littered already at 8 am? No. They were never cleaned the night before. Management obviously doesn't care. read more

I went here this morning around 10:00am and ordered an Oikas Greek Yogurt w/mixed berries and a Caramel Latte *Iced. My total was $7.02 which was pretty cheap, considering other competitor places would be $2-$3 more!!! The coffee was a great size (16oz I believe) and so was the yogurt! Rather thick (yogurt) but filling and it almost tasted like honey was put in it! My cashier was Marilana and she was super nice! There were a lot of workers there so I wasn't waiting for longer than 3 minutes. It's pretty clean and somewhat quiet if you want to have a meeting or do some school work on your laptop. Great place to even order for kids! They have pastries, salads, soups, coffee, tea, sandwiches; like really?! What doesn't this place have?! They're the first Panera Bread to have me as a customer (I thought they only sold different types of bread) and I love this place. I would definitely recommend this place!!! read more

Crazy long line when we walked in, but it moved quickly and we didn't feel rushed by the staff. When I got home I was disappointed to find that the salad I got was not as advertised. Ingredients were missing and the way they slopped everything into the box was completely unappetizing. I don't appreciate the manager belittling a gal that clearly was new and struggling on the register. I don't appreciate the manager insisting several times that I can pay off of my phone when I voiced my intention to pay via card (which I had visible in my hand and blatantly showed him such to the point of him confusing the gal manning the register). I don't appreciate being given a hard time by that same manager because my spoon had a rather large green smear on it (when I didn't have green on my plate) when I politely asked for a new one. Lastly, I don't appreciate paying for legitimately less than a half cup's worth of soup in a bread bowl because they couldn't be bothered to cut the hole slightly larger - if I had wanted to eat just a sourdough bread-loaf, I'd have ordered only that. I could have overlooked the last part, but all of it together just left me feeling a bit irritated. Maybe everyone was just having an off-day, but you don't need to share that with others. read more

I am a fan of panera bread. BUT at the Renton Landing Panera Bread the CUSTOMER SERVICE and QUALITY of food changes here all the time!!! I come here maybe 3 times a month wirh my boyfriend and its a hit or miss with this place!!!! . CUSTOMER SERVICE' - Sometimes they can be really nice and other times really f****ing rude. FOOD QUALITY- Some time the food is awasome! I always order salads from there, and they are great but sometime they put barly anything on it and are stingy when you ask for more dressing ... its a $10.00 salad. if the customer serivice and food quality was the same everytime i would give it a 5 star. I would suggnest going in on the week days durring the day time.. thats when youll have the best expereance. On the weekends i would stear clear becuase you can tell the employees are not happy and your service and quality of food will suffer as well. read more

To be fair, I'll start off by saying that most people who are just looking for coffee will go to a Starbucks or Tully's, etc. All I wanted was a skinny latte, but my husband wanted a blueberry bagel and drip coffee. We were in a hurry, so decided to drop into Panera. I got my latte fairly quickly and the bagel didn't take too long, but the dark roast coffee dispenser was empty. We waited 15 minutes, and it still wasn't ready. The clerk finally offered to take the cup "in the back" and fill it. While we waited another five minutes for this to happen, we saw three people try to get cream out of the empty cream container. When the clerk reappeared, we informed her that the creamer was empty. With rolling eyes and a heavy sigh, she went back to retrieve the carton of cream. In the meantime, I took a taste of my latter. Lattes pretty much always taste the same to me no matter where I go, but I have to admit that this was the worst latte I had ever tasted in my life. It was so bad, it was undrinkable and was quickly tossed into the trash receptacle. I don't know if the problem was with the beans or the barrista, but it tasted completely burnt.
