Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt + Vegetarian Autumn Squash Soup + 20 oz Caffe Latte
    Simran M.

I don't come out here a whole lot yet been coming recently for some meetings. This place is definitely popular and has its frequent visitors. We found that the ability to sit down, do some work utilizing their wifi and outlets to keep our laptops was helpful, not to mention grab a bite as well. As much as I was hoping for breakfast, I came right when they switched to lunch. I went for the Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt, Vegetarian Autumn Squash Soup, & Caffe Latte. The sandwich was pretty good and filling, so I had some of the soup but couldn't get through most of it. I heard that the water didn't taste clean so heads up if you need some water to go with your meal yet she found the sandwich to be pretty good and her broccoli cheddar soup had a bit more cheese than she was hoping for. One of the girls at the front counter is super sweet & tends to find me to give me coffee; the counter where they prep the food also has a screen with the approximate wait time of your order with your name on it which was helpful & something I hadn't seen before.

The new entree salads are the best! I had the Mediterranean Chicken with Greens Salad, which had hummus, grains, red onion rings, red peppers, cakes and more. I always ask for dressing in the side, so that too was great. Partner had the Balsamic Chicken with Grains salad, which had avocado, pepperocini and more . Both salads were great. Enjoy!

Ever since they had an employee turnover they have been getting better staffing. I haven't got any more burnt bagels, and the all around atmosphere has been a lot more positive. Big change, big results and all around better focus on the customers . It's even cleaner

What in incredible staff ! They serve with such kindness and love . I love going to Panera because of them The new menu is severely depleted of the richness it once had though ... greens taken out of breakfast sandwiches is unfortunate

I tried the chicken avocado melt, and it was actually really tasty, and may be my new go-to sandwich here. The ingredients blended well, the toasted focaccia bread was slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the chipotle sauce was on point. I also love the broccoli cheddar soup, which is usually part of my regular orders.

Service was good, staff was friendly, food was great! I went there with my newborn, niece and two daughters and it was a family friendly environment with plenty of seating options and outdoor seating as well. When my newborn was crying no one seemed frustrated which was also great. Two of the kids shared a chicken Caesar salad that was great and my other daughter and I shared a Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich.

Craving a quick sandwich after work, I came here because I didn't want to cook anything for dinner. I ordered a full sandwich and a cup of soup. Definitely too much food for myself. The sandwich was delicious though! The French onion soup wasn't my favorite. There was a 1/2 scoop of shredded cheese on the bottom corner. And no bread. It was just onion pieces in broth. It was grab and go for me. I didn't hang out inside very long. Fast service. The place looked clean and they have free WiFi.

When you order an egg breakfast sandwich the amount of egg you get is never consistent! Ugh.

The place inside is small- but do not let the exterior fool you, it serves delicious food! I've been here a couple times and it does not disappoint. If you were to come on a weekend, there will be a wait for sure. There is outside seating when the weather is nicer. This time around, I had ordered the pork chops rice plate. The protein is flavorful and the nice char on the chops give is a good crunch flavor. Also at our table was the banh xeo- it is huge! But filling, and you won't stop eating it because it is yummy! We did request some rice paper on the side to make it into a spring roll. The banh beo was not ordered this time, but have ordered it in the past, and is a MUST!

You have to yell across the table to hear each other bc everyone in the restaurant had to practically yell to hear one another. Strange acoustics

The last place I went to had clouds of fruit flies, the floor was sticky and the table looked like a science experiment (the Pho was good though, but ewww). But this isn't about Pho places in Covington. This is about Happy Autumn in Renton. I needed to be in Renton along 4th Ave and since I don't get to eat good Pho much anymore, I saw that Happy Autumn was along the route I'd be driving. My first impression. The food handling rating is EXCELLENT and the restaurant looked clean. The staff was delightful, professional, full of smiles, and had my order ready for pick-up right on time. I got the grilled chicken Pho to go, which is risky because 'to-go' meals can be skimped on since people don't tend to complain on meals to go from their house. I was NOT disappointed. They piled up all the goodies. Extra Sriracha, jalapenos, cilantro and basil. Lots of chicken and noodles and just a touch of sprouts (they are my least favorite Pho item). The broth was fragrant, flavorful and by the time I got home 45 minutes later, still hot. I put it all together and enjoyed some of the best Pho I've ever eaten locally. HIGHLY recommend.

It was tender and flavorful. You even got a bit of that wok char on it when they cooked it all together with the bell peppers. It was the most satisfying thing we ate. The chicken wings were flavorful as well but didn't love the coating. It was super crunchy but just a little too heavy on the coating for my preference. The pho was not anything I would go out of my way for. But it did its job. And for $13 for a combo pho, I was not mad at it all. Definitely packed with a lot of noodles if you appreciate that too. The broth was solid. The service was friendly. It's a small restaurant with a good amount of seating. Nothing fancy at all. But you don't hear for vibes. You come here for affordable eats that deliver on flavor. I definitely plan on coming back and trying their chow fun. If the calamari had the wok char, I can only hope their chow fun would too. I'll definitely update when I come back and try!
