Decided to spend my birthday lunch at Panera today. Ordered the Bacon Turkey bravo. The bread was definitely stale. I had a real hard time even biting through the crust! I ordered a meal for my Associates from this store and all I found was rude and unprofessional associates, they somehow failed me on my order by not following my request to pre slice all the bagels before pickup then failed to provide the plates I requested while ordering. I dont understand why Panera offers extra of something and you don't get it at all. I order xtra basil on my sandwich, never get it. How are you going to have a Margarita pizza if you don't have basil, and that's what makes it a Margarita pizza along with the tomatoes and fresh Mozzerella. If you don't have the ingredients, shouldn't you let customers know. My pizzas I received look sloppy, and the bread on my chicken frontega was mush. I'm not happy at all, and I love panera usually. This Panera is a nice, clean location. Service is friendly. My Curbside order was missing the salad dressing so I'm lucky that I checked. The staff certainly took their time changing the ice and held up quite a line at the fountain machine without acknowledging anyone waiting which was a misstep. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I'd do MINUS 5 if I could. Do not waste your time or money at this Panera location. I rarely go inside but use the "convenience" of their drive thru which is SUPER SAD as well! I wish I could get back the minutes of my life from eating inside. Absolutely unforgivable horrendous customer service. Horrible environment. No smiles or anything. Spoke to the manager, Lacy, and the obscene demeanor of all of the employees evidently stems down from there. Lacy cut me off and did not listen to the customer. A broccoli cheddar soup is supposed to come with a side. They forgot the side. Any side. Plate was bare! Then when I informed them the baguette side and cream cheese was missing, they said I had to go to the other side where NO ONE was. Waited there for a minute, then returned to ask if one of the four people on that side could help me. My food was still sitting waiting for me and I never did eat... May be racist because they assumed we didn't pay for cream cheese. They had to check?! A lousy $1.59. I'm a sip club member frequenting many Panera and this is truly the worst!! They have NEVER given me such a difficult time. But the grandma did ask for the cream cheese and I wanted to get it for her, so I paid for it despite Lacy's employee not charging it in the first place. Oh, ordering was difficult too! Panera Bread is a great cafe for any time of day. They provide great quality food at reasonable prices. Their Thai Chicken salad is really tasty, quite filling and low-fat/low-cal. They've just added table service which is a nice addition, you order your lunch or dinner at the counter & they deliver it to your table. They provide free wi-fi, which makes it a great spot to bring a lap-top or your iPad and drink a cup of coffee while you get your work done or surf the net. During peak lunch hours, wi-fi access is limited to 30 minutes, however. They need to keep tables free for the crowds of people who come through. If you're there in the evening, I'd suggest skipping the dessert pastries. They are usually left over from earlier in the day & are not quite fresh. Last week I went into my favorite Panera to get two of the spinach and artichoke soufflés. Now I go into this location often as these two my favorite. Well upon arriving to my office I realized they were overdone, and slightly burnt. I immediately called into the location to advise them of this. I was met with the best customer service. They told me they were placing me into a book and I let them know I was coming in the next day. Unfortunately I didn't make it it, but went in the subsequent day. As usual, the food was fresh and hot, the service was good, however, the prep team could be a little more cordial. My wife and I always get the pick-two with soup, unfortunately the soup is not longer place in the carrier container to keep the soup from spilling. Even with the top sealed soup sipped from the cup and caused the bag bottom to get wet. I made it into the house and place the package on the counter just in time before the bottom opened up. Devin is always a pleasure to work with and she apparently was off on Monday and when I called to place a catering order no one else wanted to take my order for the next day. The manager told me to call back the morning of the day I needed my catering order to place it. I think the manager was just being lazy because you should have more then 1 more who can take a catering order if the original catering employee has the day off. Devin called me this morning to make sure I knew they didn't have some of the things because a truck didn't stop. Usually Panera is a great experience, not with this location. The menu is situated that you cannot see the lunch section from the two front registers. The clerks are wanting to take your order but you cannot even see the menu. Staff has mostly been very nice when I have come here. Food has generally been okay though never as good as other locations. This visit I ordered the chicken and wild rice soup and grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. The soup was good. The sandwich, not so much. Tasted terrible so upon further evaluation, this is what the inside looked like. Finished the soup, not the sandwich. After attending a wedding near Dayton, OH, my friends and I drove to Columbus (actually a town just outside it). We checked into a hotel, and planned to go to a local BBQ joint in about an hour and a half. I was really looking forward to that, but later discovered that everyone, except me, had changed their mind and wanted to go to this Panera instead. So, we drove there. There was one family ahead of us. It seemed like it was taking forever to take their order. Eventually, another register opened up and we went there. We made a simple order, but it took a while for the cashier to take it. Then we had to search for a table. Most of the tables were dirty, but we found one that just needed us to wipe a few crumbs off. I did have one moment of satisfaction when everyone complained about their food. Either they got the order wrong or it was prepared badly. I ordered the green goddess chicken cobb salad. It was edible. My friends assured me that the Panera they go to near Cleveland is great and that this one was an aberration. Every time I order from this location, whether it's for pick-up or delivery, something is missing from my order. The last two times I ordered from them, my cookies were stale. Enjoyed a quite Saturday morning breakfast at this location last weekend. The lines were short and our order was popped out very quickly and correctly. The gal taking our order was friendly enough and everyone working there was definitely hustling to keep up with the small crowd. We saw coffee replaced 2 or 3 times so that was definitely fresh! My only complaint was how many dirty tables there were. They could have used someone walking around cleaning off tables, but that's a pretty normal issue I see at any Panera I go to. read more
