I normally get good service when I dine in, however when I call in my order, I tend to get rude service. I called in my order several times and this time I called in the lady informed me that we cannot call in our orders anymore. I was confused because I had ordered via phone 3 days before. She said "I can't take your order. Call it in. Anything else I can help you with?" She didn't apologize for the inconvenience or at least explain why I couldn't order by phone anymore. I ended up not ordering food there and stopped by to pick up food elsewhere. read more

Received a Gift Card and ordered breakfast from the Lithonia GA chain, Sausage cheese egg bagel. First of all The Customer Service was horrible. No good morning, no smiles on a (Sunday morning,). When I received my food it was horrible! tasteless sausage patty, ungrilled bagel, and a eggs from a box. The only thing good was the coffee, however no flavored creamers... With the prices you charge the breakfast food quality could be better, and should provide flavored creamer.. I imagine the lunch too be better. However, I have no desire to return. You can keep the balance on this card. I refuse to return to any eatery where the Customer Service is horrible. read more

I go to this panera frequently because it is conveniently located close to my job. The service is excellent. The cashiers are attentive and the management is very hands on in regards to greeting customers and bringing orders out. They are willing to accommodate for you as needed and with the new ipad system in place the service is quick. I always have a great experience when I go to this location. read more

This was my first time to a Panera Bread. I hit it right at the peak of the lunch hour rush and expected bad service and a long wait. It was so. I found the place extremely well organized and clean,with nice modern decor. The staff were all professional in their manners and friendly. The line moved very quickly and our food came out really fast. I had the southwestern chicken salad and a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup. Both were very good. For a sandwich place, I found it a refreshing change from the Subway chain that has gone down hill in their quality in recent years. read more

I have been to Panera Bread enough now that I finally know how to order from their "combinbation" menu. A fourth of a sandwich and a salad was less then $7---which is much better than my previous visit. Had the turkey on bread and a caesar salad both of which were excellent. Came with a piece of fruit (an apple) and because I had some points on my Panera card I received a free pecan roll. Very good meal at a reasonable lunch price. The restaurant was packed at lunch time and finding a parking place in the immediate area is a challenge. Staff is very courteous and helpful with the menu. Sign up for their rewards card for free food items in the future. I revisited this restaurant on November 17, 2013 and it was not the same. The girl at the cash register did not have a clue about anything. I have never seen such confusion. When an employees ask her a couple of questions about the customer she just waited on, she could not answer any of them. We ordered the cream of chicken soup with wild rice and it came out almost in a single "glob" with no wild rice. The taste was even worse as it appeared to have been left over from previous days. It was so bad I could not eat it.The caesar sale was "blah" with almost no dressing. How could this place gone down this much since the previous visit. First time we were there a manager was on duty and he went around to all tables checking on the food and service. that did not happen today. Secondly, the "cooks" "chefs' "assemblers" what ever you want to call them, seemed to have difficulty speaking english. Getting anything corrected with them would have been a miracle. This was a week-end day and we will stick to weekdays from now on. We are dropping our stars to three for this visit. read more

After one visit I can only give Panera two stars. Decent fast casual place similar to Corner Bakery, and Baker Brothers. Menu is mostly the standards, sandwiches, soups, salads, baked goods, etc. Service was good, and prices were affordable. Their Italian sandwich is bad, really really bad. I would rather eat a Subway before I ate one of Paneras Italian sandwiches again. It was about on par with those gross pre-made things you get at supermarkets and gas stations. It was essentially a club sandwich with some cotto salami and a pepperoncini. Note to Panera whole pepperoncinis go on the side not on the sandwich. The quality of the meats bothered me as well, it wasn't even the good stuff. It was like the nasty stuff where they mix up all the bits and pieces into a slurry and form it into the desired form, think Oscar Mayer. The Italian sandwich is the gauge by which i judge all sandwich shops and Panera really missed the mark. I did however really enjoy the cherry pastry I had. I will probably return just to give something else a try. read more

I am a huge fan, however I was disappointed my last trip even though I probably shouldn't be. I had 2 gift cards, one with $25.00 and the other with a remaining $4 and some change, because I love this place and go here all the time. Well I did really good in adding my items, I did so well in fact that I was only one penny over. I had run in after work and just took my wallet, well there was a line and when she said it was one penny over my gift card and by the way her tip jar was there with lots of pennies, which were ALL hers, not mine, but she had me charge my debit card for ONE PENNY! I realize she had no reason to help me out, but so much for paying it forward. I would have said don't worry about it, but she wanted that penny bad. I could have just ran to my car, but I didn't want to hold up the line. I still love Panera, I was just really disappointed that she couldn't spare a penny, I will still go to Panera, I'll just be sure to carry some change on me. Not enough tables for the lunch rush, but it's a small area so they made do with what they had. The chili is gross. It was mainly beans and corn with barely any good meat. The chicken avocado salad came with only two slices of avocado and two small pieces of chicken. I was really disappointed paying over $10 for that :/ Maybe they were just sloppy because they were busy, but I expect the food I paid for. Will probably go back again during the non rush times to give it a second chance because I do love soup and salad! read more

Worst experience trying to order from this location. I called due to my order being marked incorrectly and needed it delivered, the manager informed me that I had to cancel my order and order it online. I get my order canceled to go online and attempt for the 2nd time to order it and the order does not go through after entering my information multiple times. To make it better, i called in and the guy said he could place my order online - i got EXTREMELY frustrated because the manager could have simply did this herself but i assume my call was not important for her. I make the order with they guy who then tells me i will have to wait another 40 minutes for my order. I asked him if it could be rushed due to us being in a meeting and getting my food in a timely manner. The guy then hangs up on me. So therefore, we/my company are no longer ordering from this location due to the poor customer service. read more

I was in here s few weeks ago for dinner and had an issue with my order. i had ordered a salad and a smoothie, but the girl who had rung me up forgot to give me a tracker device and it took awhile for the food to get to me. turns out she hadnt even made my smoothie yet and my food had just been sitting out, ready for me. i complained to a nice young lady, Melissa I think her name was, who apologized and immediately made my smoothie for me and came back to check on me after I had received my food. I guess you can't blame the entire staff for bad service, just one person who makes the rest look bad! read more

This was my first time to ever try Panera. I went early (10:45) as I know it gets pretty crazy around lunch time where they are located. I was very impressed with the staff. I didn't pre-order my meal as I wasn't sure exactly where I was going but decided to go there and glad I did. I tried the steak/white cheddar panini and it is good. I also got the broccoli/cheddar soup and it is very good. I am a big fan of the Iced Green Tea infused with passion fruit and papaya. Also added a pastry for 99 cents. It is a little on the higher end for what I usually pay for my lunch. It was $12.50. That isn't too bad as this a lot of food and sure I will be eating on this all day long. When my order was ready for pickup there was a lady there who was standing there waiting for it and checked to make sure it was all there and then made sure the sauce was left off my sandwich. I was surprised by this and this is why I believe it was over the top on customer service. I will be going back for sure as this is literally in walking distance from my job. read more
