    Half of what I ordered

I ordered a sandwich to go from here, paid in full, grabbed the bag, drove all the way home, and found only HALF of a sandwich in the bag. When I called the store to ask whether I should drive back or if they could give me a refund, their phone rang for 2:43 before their system picked back up and told me they couldn't talk. THANK YOU, Panera!

Thanks saddest bowl of chicken noodle soup ever.

Most of the time, Panera is fine and I enjoy my meal. Although I rarely find menu items to be anything exceptional. I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup with very little chicken. Or noodles. Or carrots even. So basically chicken broth. And the broth was only okay.

The service was quick and our food arrived hot and tasty. The tables and restroom were clean. Unfortunately they seem to be doing what many establishments are now doing which is decreasing the portion sizes and increasing the prices. I like the convenience of being able to walk in, order, eat, and get out without waiting for a table or service, but it's getting to the point where I don't know if it's worth the money.

My daughter and I decided to stop in at Panera on the way back home. I had the onion soup in a bred bowl and a teaser salad. This was the first time I have ever gone to a Panera Bread, The soup was really good and the salad as well. I would say Panera is in the fast food category as you order and pay upfront and then you pick up your food yourself. The food was delicious and I would definitely go again. I thought the food was a little pricey considering no waiter or waitresses. I would definitely recommend Panera Bread if you are in the area.

The service made me sad. I'm feeling sad right now. Very sad. Due to the service. The service just made me upset. I'm upsetted by the service. I'm frowning. Why? The service. Don't ask for a cup. Or this will be you.

Like any other Panera you go to this place has the freshest of breads and salad greens, the best tasting flavored aqua fresca type drinks (especially the hibiscus flavors), and also higher quality chicken and turkey that is juicy, flavorful, moist, lean and soft. Some of the customer service at this particular Panera, however, is lacking from what it could be. I asked the cashier what she likes to order and without hesitation she suggested the Avocado Turkey BLT so I went with her recommendation. Unlike other Paneras, she never asked what side I would like and just gave me chips without informing me. My experience with Panera is that they always ask if you want an apple or slice of bread instead of chips. Since I am not a big fan of chips it would have been nice to be offered another side. She did however ask if I would like to add a pastry to my meal for 99 cents and she was able to list all of the pastries available by memory and was clearly proud of the pastries Panera had to offer. I got the lemon cookie which was honestly too sweet with all the white chocolate chips they added to it although I did like how soft and lemony it was. She also forgot to give me the cup for the fountain drink I ordered and when I informed the man at the counter about this later on he was annoyed instead of apologetic. I did enjoy the sandwich and hibiscus drink of course but the chips really were too salty and the cookie really was too sweet. I also feel that they could have done more with the sandwich with how expensive it was even though I enjoyed it. There was a lot of bacon but not enough lettuce or tomato. The bacon was also cold, hard and chewy instead of hot, soft, and crispy. Panera needs to learn a lesson or two from Einstein's when it comes to serving bacon in its full glory. The turkey was extra delicious however even though it was served cold (I don't think it would have been a big deal for them to ask me if I want the turkey or bacon meat served hot or cold, right? - they do that at most other fast serve places like Subway). There was a good amount of avocado and it was close enough to being ripe for me but it was still a little on the harder side and so it kept slipping out of the sandwich. If it was sliced into smaller pieces and a tad bit softer it would have helped make a more cohesive sandwich where everything wasn't falling out. The mayo could have also been more evenly spread over the entirety of the bread to add more consistency to each bite. My friend ordered a salad which she loved but when she asked for more dressing the man at the counter was annoyed again. We got there at 7 pm (a normal time to have dinner - right?) and yet they already put our food in "to go" containers when we arrived and it wasn't even that close to 8 yet (this place apparently closes at 8pm instead of 9pm like other Paneras) so I ended up finishing up my little sandwich in the car. My experience with Panera prior to this is that they have always been upbeat, friendly and welcoming so this experience really felt like the exception to the rule. I suggest going to another Panera close by if you can.

My husband and I have been a takeout customer of Eiwa many times over years. For our visits, the cook quickly cooked our foods, and the hostess and waiter very promptly and courteously served us. Here are my reviews for our foods: Crab cheese wonton - 4.5 stars - The wonton wrappers were crispy, and they were filled with cream cheese and some crab meat and seasonings. These wontons tasted similar to other restaurants' wontons. Miso soup - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this miso soup, and he described it as "good." Vegetable spring rolls - 4.5 stars - These spring rolls were a little oily but tasted very good. Chicken egg rolls - 4 stars - My husband ate these egg rolls, and he seemed to enjoy them. Pork gyoza - 4.5 stars - This appetizer consisted of six pieces of potstickers that were filled with a good amount of ground pork and some vegetables. On the side was a spicy sauce. Bao buns - 4.5 stars - I ordered the spiced beef, and I liked it. Other available flavors include chicken and pork. Shrimp tempura platter with kabocha squash and sweet potato - 4.5 stars - The shrimps, squash, and sweet potatoes were very fresh, and their tempura batter was crispy. Okonomiyaki - 4.5 stars - Several flavorful pancakes contained seafood and zucchini, and they were topped with sauce, mayonnaise, and bonito flakes. Chicken Katsudon - 5 stars - The chicken meat was large and juicy, and its panko breading was crispy. Tonkotsu ramen - 5 stars - My husband has repeatedly ordered this flavor of ramen. This ramen contained pork belly, noodles, spinach, mushroom, seaweed, bamboo shoots, and egg. My husband chose to purchase extra noodles. He said that this ramen tasted "really good", "delicious," and like a "higher quality." Spicy miso ramen - 4.5 stars - I had asked for some spice, but this ramen tasted a little milder than I had expected. I assume that the cook can make it spicier for other people. Ingredients were pork, bean sprouts, seaweed, corn, scallion, and egg, and I liked the flavors. Vegetarian ramen - 5 stars - This ramen was very flavorful, despite not containing meats and being made at my preferred "not spicy" level. Creamy curry vegetable soup - 4.5 stars - This curry soup was moderately spicy and contained a small amount of vegetables. Shoyu ramen - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this ramen two times. He liked the flavors. He described the first bowl as "oily" but said that the second bowl was better. Niku udon - 5 stars - The udon noodles were nicely chewy. The broth, beef, and onion were flavorful. Tan-tan ramen - 5 stars - This ramen soup was moderately spicy, and it was filled with perfectly cooked noodles, ground chicken, and vegetables. Thai curry ramen - 5 stars - This ramen had a nice balance of moderate spice and sweetness. It also had good noodles and vegetables. Sesame chicken - 4.5 stars - Eiwa expanded their menu to include some other types of Asian cuisines. This sesame chicken had large chunks of chicken with juicy meat, crispy breading, and a flavorful sauce. On the side was white rice that was perfectly steamed. General Tso's chicken - 4.5 stars (average of my 4 stars and my husband's 5 stars) - This General Tso's did NOT taste spicy at all. My husband who strongly dislikes spices described this chicken as "delicious." Pad see-ew - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this entree. The noodles, broccoli, soy sauce, and choice of protein of chicken tasted very good. Pad Thai - 4.5 stars - The noodles were cooked well, and I liked the flavors of the sauce, vegetables, and tofu. (It may be ordered with animal proteins.) Spicy Salmon Roll - 4.5 stars - This roll was smaller than I had expected, but I really liked its flavors. Salmon-avocado sushi roll - 5 stars - I feel so thankful that Eiwa added sushi to their menu! This sushi roll contained very fresh ingredients and tasted very good. PGH roll - 4.5 stars - This maki roll contained shrimp, and I liked the flavors. Tuna-avocado roll - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this maki roll, and he seemed to enjoy it. Spicy tuna roll - 4.5 stars - This tuna sushi was fresh and moderately spicy. Rainbow roll - 4.5 stars - A California roll was topped with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and cooked shrimp. It tasted slightly spicy. Taiyaki - 4.5 stars - This taiyaki contained red-bean paste, and it was more fried and oily than what I ate in Japan, but I still liked it. Mango boba milk - 5 stars - This bubble tea was a large size and tasted delicious. My husband has ordered it multiple times and really likes it. Strawberry boba milk - 5 stars - I enjoyed the strawberry flavor of this beverage, and I thought that the amount of boba was perfect.

This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.

We ordered takeout this time, and the overall experience was great. We placed an order online, and everything was very neatly packaged and ready to go when expected. The food even travelled fairly well, such that it was still in good shape after traveling home. The restaurant itself is in a bit of a drab strip mall, but it's generally nicely decorated with colorful signage and a nicely kept interior. In terms of the food, the shrimp spinach dumplings were really nicely done, with lots of flavor and texture. My partner especially enjoyed the barbecue pork bao, which were nicely steamed with a very flavorful filling. The egg tart was good, but not really my thing. It had a bit of a caramelized sugar flavor reminiscent of waffles with syrup. The spicy oil splashed noodles, one of the noodle dishes on the menu, was generally lacking: some nice toppings, but not much flavor. Overall, this is a nice little place that seems to be fairly well run. I suggest going for the dim sum and giving up on expectations for anything on the menu that isn't dim sum. The sauce was another surprise. I've never said this in my life because I normally love sauce, but there was far too much of it, and it was pretty much flavorless. Instead of elevating the dumplings, it overwhelmed them without adding anything to the taste. Overall, the presentation is lovely and the menu has potential, but the dumplings need more filling and a more flavorful, restrained sauce to match their visual appeal.

The restaurant's menu lists pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes, omelettes, salads, paninis, quesadillas, and many Mediterranean foods (e.g., hummus, falafel, kebabs, baklava, etcetera). My husband and I have eaten breakfast and dinner here. Employees told us that we could sit at a table of our choosing. After reasonable waits, two employees brought our beverages, foods, and bills. Here are our ratings for the foods: Pancake tacos - 4 stars - Pancakes were folded around eggs, cheese, and bacon. My husband said that the tacos were slightly falling apart, so he ended up eating the pancakes separately from the other ingredients. He would have preferred that the bacon be cooked longer to get crispy. Nevertheless, the ingredients were very fresh and tasty. Waffle Heaven - 5 stars - This waffle was a large size, and it was topped with Nutella, strawberries, bananas, caramel sauce, and walnuts. On the side was cream. I really enjoyed the flavors. Mushroom sauté - 4.5 stars - This entree had such a wonderful aroma! It contained lots of mushrooms, green peppers, onions, melted cheese, and some eggs (and no tomatoes at my request). It was similar to scrambled eggs with vegetables mixed in, but it contained fewer eggs. Sausages - 4 stars - My husband ate a few small sausages. I took one bite, and I thought that they tasted alright. My husband gobbled them up. Hummus and pita bread - 4.5 stars - The pita bread was fresh and warm and tasted very good. We would have preferred a slightly stronger flavor to the hummus. Vegetarian sauté - 5 stars - This entree contained eggplant, green peppers, onion, garlic, tomato, and potato, and I greatly enjoyed the flavors. The serving size was so large that I had leftovers for the next day. Chicken kebab - 4 stars - Chicken thighs were marinated and grilled with herbs. The meat was very juicy and cooked well, but my husband wanted a stronger marinade and different sauce. Baklava - 4.5 stars - I received a generous serving size of four pieces. I liked the phyllo dough and nuts. Beverages - 5 stars - We drank bottled water, orange juice, and mango juice.
