My experience was ok For dinner this evening I ordered some food through their website to bring home. Ordering wasn't very difficult, and they have nice pictures of each item to tempt you. I ended up arriving several minutes after I was supposed to, Panera Bread had already sent me an e-mail saying the food was ready for pickup, and it was ready when I arrived. I read many of their reviews before I left home, I think the last good reviews were written back in 2018. That did give me a few things to watch for. As for the smell, it didn't smell great but it didn't seem too terrible. I checked the order, and all the stuff was correct. As I said, the food was ready on the rapid pickup table when I finally arrived. I didn't have to interact with anyone, so I can't judge whether people were rude or drugged. As for the food, I ordered their Summer Corn Chowder and their Toasted Steak & White Cheddar sandwich. I liked the soup, still warm when I got home. The sandwich didn't look that great, and it was just ok. I suppose I'm used to Panera having a high bread to filling ratio, after all they do have Bread as part of their name, but to me it doesn't make for a great sandwich. read more

Customer service is AWFUL, i got cream cheese THROWN AT ME?! When i asked for my drink cup i got stared at and told "Sure" with an attitude. It smells awful in there like dirty water or like something rotting. My sandwich wasn't made right, it was missing my mayo and avacado. Normally I find Panera very reliable. I'm guessing it's a staffing shortage. At noon on a Saturday, the tables are dirty, and the service was slow. That said the woman who took my order was friendly and helpful. Diet Coke ran out just as I got my drink. There was an employee right there. She offered no help even though I said it was out. I settled for caffeine free DP, but it wasn't what I wanted. Prices too have gone up, but I think that's everywhere read more

the past few orders haven't been that great but this past order sent me over the edge. Lunch for 3 over $50 dollars, but my Roasted turkey Avocado BLT......what the hell (see photos) a very small amount of the turkey and it tasted like the bottom of the pan, bacon was edible at best but the amount of avocado what a joke! I ordered my meal through the Panera app. I got the Mac and cheese and French onion soup. When it was delivered I was missing my soup and the seal was broken from the bag. I went to Panera asking them to replace the meal because at that point my other food was cold. They told me they couldn't replace my meal and treated me unfairly so I asked for a refund because I didn't want the cold meal. They told me no. I was so embarrassed I wanted to cry. No one would speak to me until someone (I wish I had gotten her name. She was so kind) finally came over and felt bad and gave me a refund and I only got a refund for half of the meal. Since I also tipped the driver and paid a delivery fee. I paid $22 and got $11 and change back. This is horrible customer service. I came up with fair and helpful solutions. Replace my meal or give me a refund. And they treated me harshly. On top of the receipt it says Accuracy Matters "your order should be correct every time. If it's not, we'll fix it right away, and you a free treat. Just let an associate know" well I did. No one would replace my meal. read more

I like their Mediterranean grain bowl. It's pricey but I guess it's worth it bc I seem to always purchase the same dish. Their customer service is ok. One lady is so kind to my son, she offers him a cookie every time she sees him. I typically order take out. They are a hot or miss when it comes to ordering from the app. They tend to forget items ordered or give quite small portions in comparison to their dine in. On one curbside order I placed from the app, I checked in that I was at lot 1. I waited almost 10 mins, then decided to head inside and the food was in the pick up bin. Why? I have no idea why they didn't bring it to my car. Although annoyed, I didn't care to ask. I just picked up my order and got myself an ice coffee for the inconvenience. To have me wait that long for an ASAP curbside order in this Florida heat is pretty brutal. I'm learning it's not worth tipping ahead on the app bc they always seem to fail somewhere. I normally go to Orlando Panera right, but we are here today and hungry so we stop. but I regretted it, my bowl didn't have the arugula it was supposed to come with, and the grains didn't taste like anything, and when I went to complain, the kitchen employee just threw a handful of arugula on my plate, as if I were some animal: take it now go and eat it. Each time I have gone into this Panera in the early morning there is a girl working who is rude and nodding out. Shes can't take orders or bag them without nodding shes very obviously on drugs and no one cares. Makes for a very uncomfortable situation so I get my breakfast elsewhere. read more

I'd heard from people that Panera was a good place to go and since I was starving and driving by, I thought I'd give it a try. Needless to say I wish I hadn't! Let's start with counter help who don't greet customers & aren't patient with someone new to Panera Bread. Then I ordered the grilled mac & cheese, a cappuccino and croissant. When my order was ready I went and picked it up, sat down and took a bite. Cold. I took it back to the grill/pickup counter and told them and their attitude was that I was being a pest! Got it back and then it was hot but burnt! I was in a hurry to get to my meeting so just ate it. Placed a delivery order for: 3 soups 1 sandwich 3 cookies The soups and sandwich were each supposed to come with a "side" item (for this order, 4 total). We received only two side items. Further, on one of the containers of soup, the lid wasn't "on" properly, so soup (including noodles) sloshed all over the rest of the order. Mediterranean veggie sandwich was supposed to have hummus on it ... there was so little, we couldn't even tell if it was a small spot of hummus or just a soggy spot on bread. On the upside, the order showed up at our front door less than 20 minutes after we placed the order on the app. The app is quite nice too -- really easy navigation and quite intuitive. Wrong bagels, missing an entire $10.99 sandwich, given a small side of Mac/cheese (paid for large) and told with straight face by manager that he squeezed the large amount into small container. I'm sorry but how exactly does that math work? I think I should've received two small containers (as even the word says "contain" it can only hold so much). Not a math whiz but not stupid either. Other sandwich I ordered was on wrong bread and missing bacon. Customer service I received was an "I'm sorry." That's it. At minimum I expected a free beverage or cookie, anything. This Panera gave me Food Poisoning!!! Warning avoid this Panera at all costs. After eating breakfast here I began to feel ill. Lasted nearly a week and then I had to seek medical attention, 2 doctor visits followed by a trip to ER. CT scans & finally the diagnosis of an infection caused by the food I ate at this Panera. Overall sick now for nearly a month. Talked to Panera Corporate...they talk like they are concerned, at first. Then when it gets to the next level, all I got was denial that they caused my illness. thought the restaurant was disorganized when went in, but ate anyway because I traveling and in a rush.
