After eating at different Panera Bread locations in my area I must say this is by far my most favorite location, not because of the food but because of the service. After being to 2 other locations I've noticed that this is the only location that brings your order to your table when you dine in. You order, then you get a pager and just place the pager on the table and they bring your order to you. Other locations did have the same pager system but they did not put it into use, they would just scream your name and you would have to walk up to get your order. Another thing that really stands out at the specific location is the management and the staff, I did have issues with my Panera rewards on two separate occasion but the management took care of it with no questions asked and no hassle. The quality of the food is consistently great and the staff are extremely friendly, I absolutely love this place and the great customer service and i can guarantee that i cannot give another Panera Bread Location as good of a review as this one. read more

I absolutely enjoy the soufflé from here for breakfast. At this location the staff is very helpful and pleasant. Today we got the four cheese and spinach and artichoke soufflé. Both were excellent! I like coming to panera for a quick lunch, free wifi for doing some work, and their Asiago bread. Will definitely be back - just wish they would serve breakfast later during the week and weekends. read more

I have to agree with the other reviews that this Panera is not as good as many other locations. Their chicken noodle soup was lukewarm and not nearly as tasty as it usually it. Their tuna salad was okay - but again, really not on par with a lot of other Paneras that I have been to. read more

This Panera bread sucked. I went with three other people. We all ordered food but yet only 3 of our meals came out. And yet with those three meals they managed to mess something up about every single one. One didn't have any bread. One didn't have any bread or even salad dressing. The other also didn't have salad dressing. And then the fourth person didn't even get food. They completely didn't "hear" her order so she got nothing. Went to ask and the manager said "I guess we could put it on the house". Then continued to completely forget about it. So they went back up and said it already went out. When it didn't. I like Panera Breads to avoid the grease of burgers and fries. This one was much needed for the area, but it gets too crowded at lunch time. They are all the same food/menu wise. Pretty big seating area and they also have outdoor seating. read more

Yass best Panera food I've eaten . Friendly , although I got an attitude for asking where's my food when I waited more then 15 minutes but usually friendly. Love that they're in the middle of shopping stores so when I'm tired of shopping and starving I can get a bite to eat. There are other restaurants but there food is so fresh. I used to be such a fan of Panera, but this location tends to make me shake my head. I have to stick to the Sierra turkey sandwich, because otherwise the sandwiches were just terrible. There was the time where I ordered a Tomato & Mozarella panini and received toasted panini with tomato sauce in it and one tiny slice of cheese that covered maybe 1/3 of the bread. Ridiculous. Or one with bacon and it had one half strip of bacon on it. Then I've decided to try their Southwestern flatbread and the whole thing was drenched in dressing. It was so gross. Usually staff treats me as a customer extremely well but there is one staff member Hannah that tends to interrupt me when I'm trying to order. I had tried to tell her about a salad I saw in the menu but didn't know the name, she asked "The Strawberry Poppy Salad?" when if she just would've listened to me and not interrupted she would've known I would have no idea what it is called. After ordering that salad she was basically rushing my family & I to order and had to take out and put in different orders. She had a very nasty attitude, people should not work if they will act the way Hannah did. If we wouldn't have felt so rushed we would've ordered a big meal and left a great tip for the salad the way staff usually treats us. She had no manners at all also. read more

Been to a few different locations but this one by far was not good. Tried here twice before I would review it and it was not pleasent. The table were dirty and this was not due to crowds since both times it was after 7pm that I stopped here. The food is good. But the reason for a poor score is the people working here. I love Panera but I have to say that, as a person in customer service, my experience was less than note worthy. I was rudely ignored as I ordered because the lady was texting after she asked what I would like. Also, I asked for just water for my drink and she handed me a small cup. I was expecting this but usually ask for a bigger glass and have never had a problem receiving one. The young lady taking my order sighed and visibly rolled her eyes. It's not a great panera, but it's not a terrible panera. It seems understaffed and the tables are not cleaned as often as they could be, but the food is fine and it's a reasonable place to just veg out and check the net. I kind of think of it as an alternative spot to the library with food and better hours. Not a big fan of the pastas, though the sandwiches are fine though a bit pricey. The Mediterranean veggie and sierra turkey are both pretty decent, though I often just go there just to grab some coffee and decompress. I love Panera but this location was a dissapointment. My boyfriend and I ordered breakfast from our table which we frequently do at our regular Panera at Edgewater. We have our favorites listed and saved so when we receive our order there wouldn't be any mistakes. When receiving our breakfast, I ordered a green smoothie, a bagel and a fruit cup. My bf ordered a pb&j, a sandwich and a hot chocolate. His sandwich had cheese even though his favorites listed no cheese. His hot chocolate was done in regular milk and with whip cream. It specifically noted on the sticker on the plate, "no whip cream". He had to return that order and was redone with almold milk. When we thought everything was okay. While driving back to our next destination, my shake had these plastic pieces in it. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE PLACE! I will not be returning to this location. quality of staff decreased over time. was there at 1 PM today (Sept 1st), and the store manager had a cocky attitude. They have a pick-two special, I asked if a specific pick-two combination is 7.99, I was told that no, that's not the price, and I had to ask how much it is before the guy will give me the price. He seemed poorly trained and had incompatible attitude with my expectations from Panera. As a shareholder of this company, I think that it does not reflect well on Panera's brand. I continually go to this location thinking that they will improve. Other Panera locations are fast and precise, not this one. They are slow, have no customer service and continually get orders wrong. They usually only have two cashiers and lines out the door - EVEN though there are several employees and managers walking aimlessly around the store. Today was the last straw for me. I go there for consistent food to go - not today! I ordered the Greek Salad (because I can have the dressing other dressings have allergens for me in them) I got back to my office with a undersized salad, with the wrong dressing and the wrong cheese. I've had Panera Bread food starting from 2002 that too in different parts of US, everywhere the food is consistent which is why I go there, but this particular location in Secaucus is an exception. I might be late on this, but this place is tech savvy compared to other fast food cafes of it type. They have a system where you order your food at kiosks or directly from your table using their website/app. Very fast service and a quiet place with the typical light music playing in background. They would've gotten 5 stars but did not have dark roast coffee options when I came so I star less. Overall a good place for a quick meal and quiet enough to study. And, once again, one star is too much. I was shopping in the vicinity of this Panera and decided to stop in just to get another bagel. I walked in at about 1130am on a Sunday morning and the place was practically empty, which is not typical of most Panera restaurants on a weekend morning. There was only one cashier and she was helping someone so I waited a couple of minutes. When she finished with that customer she greeted me with a smile and asked to take my order. As I stepped forward and went to place the order, a woman who might have been a manager, began to speak to the cashier. She didn't even acknowledge me and didn't have the courtesy to say "excuse me." She just spoke to the cashier for at least two minutes and, at one point, the cashier even stepped away from the register and just left me there. Once the lady shut her mouth, the cashier came back and smiled at me and apologized. She was about the only person there who had some manners. I placed my order and began to walk towards the back to get my drink. As I filled my cup with ice I observed two employees right next to me having a personal conversation. One was cleaning the area where the green tea was located and the other was relaxed and leaning back just talking away. Neither had the courtesy to move aside when I went to get my green tea. After I said "excuse me" then they moved and continued their conversation, again without an apology. After I fill my cup I head to the counter to wait for my bagel. I see a plate with a bagel on the counter just sitting there. Then I see the girl behind the counter put a plate with another bagel on the counter. Looks like my order but I placed my order to go. One of the employees then comes to the front of the counter and tells the girl behind the counter that the order she just placed on the counter is to go. She looked like she had no energy as she took the bagel and cream cheese and places it in a bag and places it back on the counter. I guess she didn't have the energy to call the customer's name because she just left it there and turned around. I moved closer to the counter and saw my name on the bag. I grabbed it and left this restaurant completely disgusted!!!! This place seriously needs major help in servicing their customers!!!! The food is never presentable here. The employees, including management, have absolutely no customer service skills. This was the second and final chance. I will never step foot at this Panera again!!! read more
