UPDATE- 8/18/24 Opened in Orlando in 1982, this chain establishment became famous for its Italian American fare and "never-ending" breadsticks and soup or salad. Located off of Route 3 West in Secaucus, this was the closest Olive Garden in our area. My partner and I struck gold as some parking spaces closest to the entrance were available for lunch today on a Sunday around 1230pm. Upon entering, we were greeted by the staff and made it to a booth after a short 5-minute wait. Their menu mostly consisted of classic pasta dishes and more creative ones, plus soups, chicken dishes, and appetizers like calamari and toasted Ravioli. We decided on the Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Alfredo with broccoli. Each entrée came with breadsticks and opted for salad consisting of lettuce, onions, pepperoncini, and tomatoes with delicious Italian dressing. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The portions were huge, perfectly cooked, and we knew we'd be eating leftovers. The only difference was the size of the shrimp was much smaller than the previous visit. We even saved some room and got a slice of strawberry cream cake--a vanilla sponge layered with vanilla cream and topped with strawberries--to share. The meal remained surprisingly delicious and felt well worth the price, especially considering salad and breadsticks were included with our entrées. We continue to recommend this place. ------------- Some regard the Olive Garden as not authentic Italian food which is true. However where could one find an establishment that offers bottomless soup or salad with breadsticks. My parhave been to this location in Secaucus numerous times. Being a Friday night, joined their waitlist online and it worked to avoid the long wait upon arriving for dinner. Their menu has a large selection of dishes which some are good while others average as with most chain restaurants. Our servers were the tag team of Carlos and Kevin. Skipped the appetizers and went for our entrees consisting of Chicken Marsala Fettuccine (Chicken sautéed with spinach and mushrooms in a creamy marsala mushroom sauce served over fettuccine) and Shrimp Scampi (Shrimp sautéed in a homemade lemon-garlic butter sauce, tossed with fresh grape tomatoes and angel hair). With the entrees, we opted for the endless salad with parmesan cheese accompanied with garlic bread sticks. The food didn't take that long to come out which was tasty and nicely seasoned. We even left room with dessert and shared a Strawberry Cream Cake (Vanilla sponge cake layered with sweet vanilla cream and topped with fresh strawberries). We thoroughly enjoyed our food, price reasonable and service good which we could recommend this place.

I had a fantastic time at Olive Garden recently! I went with a friend and we both loved our meals. I had the chicken scampi, which was absolutely delicious, and my friend had the cheese ravioli, which looked amazing too. One of the best things about Olive Garden is how quick the service always is, and this time was no different. Plus, the portions are just right--plenty of food without feeling stuffed. I always look forward to eating here! Only reason for the 4 star is because I'm pretty sure the waitress gave us the wrong drink, or at least it didn't taste as expected but it's all good!

Went for unlimited pasta! Our server was so kind. The food was good for what it is. Don't expect 5 star food at an Olive Garden. For the price you pay there's really no room for complaining. 5/5 for what it is!

Had the Shrimp Fritt Musto for Appy. It came with two sauces for dipping. The shrimp Was just right size for snacking and was cooked just right not dry at all. I chose The Tour of Italy dish and was presented with a Plate that had to have been sitting on a warmer for a Few minutes. My lasagna Was good, fettuccine Alfredo was a bit dry and the Chicken parm was rubbery. I had to leave that behind. We only went there because Mom likes the soup. She had the chicken Marsala And again fettuccine was dry. Other dinner companion had the large stuffed shells and they barely had any marina sauce on them again dry . Not my usual place Even for pseudo Italian but tried to make 81 year old mom happy. The server was very good and attentive and we in no way blamed her.

Destroyed the food, it was clearly good. Chicken Alfredo

Food was decent. Service was very friendly- although it was my friends bday and we thought we got tiramisu for free but we had to pay thinking we didn't (that's okay). Unlimited pasta was good except im too skinny to take advantage of the deal. $5 for an added chicken tender was a bit absurd. I love the way the flavors coalesce to bring me to the front lines of the Italian front. I felt like my mind gained a duality of understanding pasta to an astronomical level. My friend got cut off for having too much pasta. I think this establishment lives up to its name with olives in the salad. Anyway I enjoyed the pasta party taking place on my tongue and I'd be here again.

The restaurant is in a good area, and the inside is very nice. The service is ok. Even on days they aren't super busy, they take a long time to come to the table. The food was really good, especially the four cheese ziti. The chicken in the Alfredo was mid. Wouldn't get that again. But overall it was good.

But the staff was incredibly welcoming right from the start, and that alone earns them five stars. You never know what to expect in a new neighborhood, but they set the tone immediately. The vibe of the restaurant is very comfortable. It is the kind of spot you walk into after a long day or a productive day and you just know you are about to eat something good. It feels like a family run place, even if it is not actually run by family. It has that warmth. You can tell it is an important part of the neighborhood. I even noticed pictures of community members on the wall, which says a lot. Now, the food. There is hot food, cold food, and plenty of items you can take home. I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, and let me tell you, it was the size of a skinny football. I am not exaggerating. It took me almost a day and a half to finish it. It tasted exceptional, and I actually had to stop myself from eating the whole thing in one sitting so I would not slip into a food coma. One tip, eat it while it is hot. That is when it is at its peak power. My friend agreed with me about the overall vibe and quality. If I am ever in the neighborhood again, I will gladly go out of my way just to try more of their dishes. You do not find spots like this easily. New York City has great food, but a place with this combination of warmth, quality, portion size, and charm is rare. In another city, this could easily be a reservation only spot packed every night. Here, it fits perfectly in the community. Great job to everyone there. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

A few of us had been talking about trying it for a while, and it totally lived up to the hype. The vibe inside was welcoming and comfortable, and the whole hot pot experience made lunch feel like something fun and different instead of just a quick meal. We picked a broth and then ordered a bunch of meats, vegetables, and noodles to share. Everything tasted really fresh, and the broth was full of flavor from the start and got even better as we kept cooking. It's the kind of place where you end up trying a little bit of everything, and it's perfect for a group because everyone can customize their own bites. We also appreciated that it didn't feel rushed, even though it was lunchtime. Service was great too. The staff was friendly, checked on us often enough without hovering, and helped explain options for anyone who hadn't done hot pot before. That made a big difference, especially with a bigger group. By the time we finished, we were already talking about coming back. I definitely plan to return soon with my family, and I can also see myself bringing a few colleagues here as well. It's a great spot for catching up, doing a casual group lunch, or just getting a really satisfying meal.

I've also turned my family and friends on to this restaurant as well. I usually do pick-up, but I've had delivery here as well and have eaten inside only once. This place is small but very clean. They recommend BYOB, but the ambience really isn't there for dinner - which is fine! It's a take out shop, what do you expect? The most important thing to remember is everything here is MADE FRESH, YA'LL!!! They make everything to order so you may be waiting a few minutes for your meal. RoP's popularity has really picked up over the past year, so sometimes the wait can get a little long. My favorite things are the wraps (the Supreme Wrap is my OG to go, but the chipotle wrap is a close second), the chicken fingers, and the fried chicken sandwich. I've also had their salads which are fresh and tasty, and a bunch of their sides - the cornbread, the creamed spinach, the mashed potatoes, and the coleslaw are all stars. (The mac n cheese is just ok! ) I've not had the Rotisserie or BBQ here, but my friends who do have said it's amazing. They also do lunch specials which is great! My favorite thing about this place, however, has to be the handmade fries. They are EXCELLENT - some of the best French fries in the area! Also, the staff here is always so pleasant and kind. They always make a note to thank you for your tips, even when placing an order online. Overall, this is a great small business to support!
