The young cashier was pleasant (however not knowledgeable with options - not his fault - that is new hire management onboarding issue) and was eventually corrected. (We gave a generous tip - he was trying) Ordered a hot sandwich, Philly Cheesesteak, warm, crunching exterior bun, soft inside, great flavor combo. Strawberry salads crisp, colorful, great variety. Bacon Mac N'Cheese (again don't judge our "healthy" items ;-) warm, creamy but no bacon. Called back to the store, and GM Anthony made it right and gave us a store credit. So the "Service: 4+" is for not getting the order correct the first time, and 2 of the free sides where an apple and a "baguette" (actually a 3" slice) both just tossed in the "To Go Paper Bag". I'm not a germaphobe (sp?), however the Asiago bagel we also ordered (delicious, crunchy/soft the next day) was placed in it's own little bag, before being placed in the "To Go Paper Bag". Great lunch specials at Panera.I don't do fast food and not big on chain restaurants , so this was my first ever visit to any Panera. The lunch special pick 2 for 4.99$ each was very good. I picked the Italiano sandwich and the ranch parm BLT salad and both were tasty. The bread on the sandwich was excellent, really good bread elevates any sandwich and i enjoyed the crisp outside and doughy inside of the sourdough. Salad was yummy, it had a green avocado dressing and a side of ranch, i didn't even use the ranch..... I would definitely recommend Panera for an affordable lunch, their Italiano sandwich is better than 90% of sandwich shops in the area. The 2.7 overall rating for this restaurant is very misleading, I think some folks are really good at whining and complaining. Panera appears to specialize in bread , sandwiches and salads, so I think that's probably what you should order here. Restaurant was clean and service was good. I'm not supposed to be eating carbs and or gluten but I allow myself at cheat day once in awhile and i'm a bit frugal and love a good deal so next time i'm craving a sandwich , I'll be back!! read more

I really love this new Panera. The employees were so nice and helpful anytime we needed something. The location does have sell ordering kiosks as you walk in but we bypassed that and went straight to the register as that's just easier for me most of the time. I tried out one of their new bagel sandwiches with a side of tomato soup. Delicious! I always feel pretty good about eating at Panera as their meats rate higher quality compared to other "fast food" establishments. This location also has an area for kids to play. I absolutely loved seeing that as it seems so rare these days. I didn't snap a photo though as children were occupying the area. Excited to come back! read more

My kids requested Panera after grocery shopping for smaller items at our nearby Winco. My kids love their mac anent cheese here. They will ask for it every other visit. They usually order the same half sandwich with a soup or a bowl of Mac and cheese with their baguette. My first mobile app order was fairly easy and the app is user friendly! Two wins for me! I didn't place my order until I picked up my breakfast burritos from Roberto's across the parking lot. The outside of this newer Panera looks like the others. I expect the inside to model the other chain restaurants. The girls working were very bubbly and welcoming. After Physical Therapy, we stopped at Panera Bread, I haven't eaten at one since they've popped up in Nevada. I got the half of tuna with chicken noodle soup. I love the soup at Panera you can't go wrong with any of the soups so flavorful. I was a bit disappointed in my tuna sandwich, it was all bread and barely any tuna mostly lettuce. For my side a got the Panera kettle chips, they're always tasty and I love the crunch. I usually take photos, but today I was too hungry to think about it after my workout at PT. Panera was wheelchair friendly and the door can be a challenge, but people are so nice to open the door for you. I look forward to going back and trying another sandwich or maybe a salad. It is a very new restaurant. The ambiance is clean and pleasant. They have a very nice indoor playground for kids up to 12. We will definitely come back. I used to work at this Panera bread. And I hated it. I was being harassed by one of my coworkers and I told the gm and he said he would look into it. Two months go by and nothing. So I emailed hr and they told me it was the first time they were hearing about this. The next month the regional manager reaches out and tells me she is just finding out about this and we scheduled a meeting. It took 4 months for him to be fired from when I first reported it. I was also in a crash and I needed less days so I can rest but after I healed I didn't get my shifts back. I made $16 an hour while working 5 hour shifts. Love the design of this new Panera in town. It's very open concept where most of the other paneras are so boxy and cut off. My kiddos enjoyed the play place. We used the tablet to order so didn't really have any interactions with the staff. The food was tasty however a little pricey. read more

I've gone through the drive thru once and have had delivery a handful of times with Door Dash. Service has been great with each order. I love their cheese broccoli soup and half turkey sandwich which comes with a baget. The food has always come hot and fresh with no issues. read more

I went to Panera yesterday about 10am. I've never been to one before and was excited to go because everyone seems to love it. I was impressed with the selection of baked goods. Also, how modern and clean the store was, but I suppose that's because it's only opened the day before. There were lots of staff there and the cashier that took my order was being overseen by someone shadowing her. I did find in interesting that she asked me if I had a phone number on file for rewards. I told her I didn't, but she didn't follow up to suggest that I join to earn rewards. It was hard to decide what to get with all the choices, but I settled on the special Ham Croissant Benny (it was marked as New & Limited Time) and the Four Cheese Souffle. I ordered everything to-go. Overall, the food was good. Tho, my Benny was dry the first couple of bites because the sauce was not evenly spread across the croissant. Once I got to the sauce the sandwich was excellent. My DH liked the souffle but thought for the price it was on the small side. He said the favor was really good but wasn't sure that it was worth almost $8.00. The total order cost $15.79 with tax. The service was good. I had to wait about 7 minutes for my food. There was a cool monitor which showed the progress of my order, which was really nice. I didn't have to worry that I didn't hear my name being called. They have a nice little play structure for the kids. I was a little underwhelmed, but it could be that my expectations were too high based on how much everyone loved Panera. I would go back tho probably not often. read more

How hard is it to make good mac & cheese? The sauce was not cheesy or flavorful enough and it had a weird consistency from some kind of thickener. It came with a piece of bread, rubbery, chewy flavorless bread. Husband had the grilled chicken/BLT/avocado sandwich. The tomato leaked into the bread, making it soggy, which made the sandwich fall apart. The top of the sandwich was overloaded with mixed greens, consisting of more than half of all the components of the sandwich. Minimal chicken and bacon. The outlet here do need to train their staff. Our sandwiches were wrong - my husband got a beef sandwich and it was labelled as avocado. Then another was missing. Drove back to pick up what we thought was a missing beef sandwich. Turns out they gave us the ago chicken. Maybe they found it. But then the bacon is his sandwich ended up in mind. This is for the Spanish Springs Panera Bread located at Tierra Del Sol Pkwy. I was in the drive-up and placed my order at 12:46. I ordered a half a bacon/turkey bravo sandwich and I was charged $11.29 plus tax. I could have gotten a half of a tomato/basil/BLT for $6.89 plus tax. So why the huge price difference? And, there was nobody in front of me in the drive-up, yet I had to wait over 10 minutes. Very disappointing. read more

The store is really nicely designed and clean. I can't comment on the staff because we had no interaction with them other than having our name called. We ordered and paid on the kiosk which was ok, but hard to see with the microscopic print. The food tasted wonderful, but for the price, it wasn't nearly enough. Our breakfast croissants were tiny. Like four bites tiny. One of my biggest pet peeves is paying fairly high prices for food and leaving a restaurant still hungry. My wife was 5 star happy with it though. Never been to a Panera before so when the new one opened in Spanish Springs, Sparks NV, my wife and I decided to give it a try. The wait to order was about 15 minutes and the young lady at the register got our order wrong. We ordered two of the 1/2 sandwich / cup of soup orders. One of the orders was correct, my wife got a full sandwich instead of the 1/2 and cup of soup she ordered. We also ordered a smoothy, a soda and two scones. The food took around 25 minutes to prepare. They have your name on a constantly updating display list and for some reason, our name kept moving down the list instead of up the list. Took forever. The meal was $61.00 and change. Way over priced for what we ordered. The sandwich order for my wife ended up being $14.88, for a sandwich. Way way way over priced. We won't be back. read more

Ordered 1 sandwich, 2 soup & 1/2 sandwiches, 1 drink = $50.15. Upon me verifying my card balance, the employee & the Manager kept getting a decline, next the told me I had to pay another way. What? Service was slow it too them over 30 mins to get gift cards and then I order the chicken strawberry salad, which I check the receipt and it was the wrong salad. It was a strawberry poppy salad, which I did not order that. And I ordered the strawberry chicken Caprice salad. I did get a drink. They didn't charge me for the drink, but it was overpriced. I was honestly shocked by just how awful the service was. To start, my order was almost entirely wrong or missing items. I ordered online and they gave me the wrong sandwich, they also didn't give me the bread bowl for my soup. When I brought this up the girl at the window just told me they were out and didn't seem to want to try to fix the situation, even though I payed for the bread bowl. After waiting awkwardly she offered to size up our soup. When we parked to check our food we saw we had the wrong sandwich, and no utensils. We went inside and it was so crazy in there. Nobody wanted to help us but the young girl at the counter. She looked like she had no idea what to do. Eventually she took our order back and said the kitchen would remake our food. Also, I know it's Panera policy to offer a cookie when something like this happens, but they didn't fulfill this until I asked. Fifteen minutes later and the sandwich still wasn't done. The girl said she would go check on it, then never came back. Then I watched the manager Brian make a worker come tell me it's being worked on because he refused to speak to us. Also, I watched them start making the sandwhich- which means that they hadn't even started fixing the order until then. Also, something that was so weird was the other manager Riley was actively drinking a DutchBros coffee at the register while taking orders AND IN THE KITCHEN, which is a health code violation. I've never seen that. Another ten minutes later and the manager Brian made a very sweet young worker take the blame for the food and throw themself under the bus. By the time I got back to my car, all our food was cold and the sun was set. At no point were we offered anything for our troubles. No refunds or coupons or compensation. We had to beg for them to fix the food we ordered, they honestly looked annoyed and confused that we wanted the stuff we paid for. Anyways, Panera do better. I feel bad for the workers under that management. And I know it's all under the general manager, Anthony's, fault.
