Absolutely phenomenal food and staff. Would strongly recommend the chicken noodle soup or the broccoli cheddar soup. Good job Panera.

When I arrived, I could tell it was busy because there were many cars parked outside. It was pouring rain , but I found a spot and ran inside. The line was long but it gave me sometime to look around. There was a lot to look at. A lady in front of me told me it's a popular spot and everything you get is delicious m. They serve everything from sandwiches and grinders to pasta, wings, bread, cookies, wine, pasta salad and SO much more! It is a bit tight in there and it was hard to look at everything in the case because people were standing waiting for their food. I ordered a sandwich and mozzarella sticks. A few of the staff seemed grumpy. One girl was complaining loud enough for customers to hear and the lady that helped me seemed like she didn't want to be there. The wait time was a little long I thought considering how many people were working. The lady that rang me out was very nice. I thought the prices were really reasonable too. My sandwich was really good. I could tell that the deli meat was fresh. I grabbed fresh lemonade from the cooler and I'm so glad that I did. It was delicious!! I love lemonade. I am so glad I grabbed the bag of homemade potato chips because they were soooo good. I munched on them on the way home. I suggest checking this place out if you are in the area!!

Smoked brings the real deal: ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac & cheese, collard greens, and other Southern comfort food that's so not what I was expecting in the way of typical cafeteria fare. We ordered the Brazil sandwich (smoked Cuban), all hail Caesar salad with chicken, and a large fries. The food took its sweet time arriving but was worth the wait. The Cuban was delicious, as was the flavorful bbq chicken that topped the salad, although I wish I'd gotten dressing on the side as the salad was overdoused. Fries are the best kind of fries I like, with that extra crispy and blistered seasoned coating yet hot and pillowy on the inside. It's a homey operation and Chef Bruce B. Williams Jr. was out there personally manning the counter and kitchen. You don't have to be a museum visitor to eat there, but 5 stars for being a casual cafe with good eats I would actually leave the complex for, and am glad I didn't have to.

From the start to finish and our server was right on and provided great service. This is my 1st time coming here to this location in the basketball hall of fame area in Springfield. We started out with the jumbo shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and it came with 4 shrimps. They were so yummy & fresh. For my meal I went with the seared scallops and the presentation of my dish was beautiful. The taste was so divine. My friend had the grilled pork chops and he said they were cooked medium and perfect. I went with the pink pony club cocktail which was similar to a martini and it was so delicious. Especially serving it in the sugar rim which was an added touch. Everything was perfect and I will be returning.

Before our appetizers came out, we were brought these tasty cheddar croissants with honey butter. That there set the tone for the rest of the meal. French onion soup was spot on. Perfect temperature that was not overly hot where a moment on the table is all it needed. Grandparents had single party burgers. They looked delicious and medium rare as they should be. My pork chop was not over cooked and has a great bite to it. Was a display for sure with all the garnishes on too. The side dish that came with it was yummy. Don't remember what was in it but I ate most of it before even touching the pork chop. No dessert for once. We were all stuffed! Much better experience than my first one.

Cute little shop with a ton of Italian foods of all descriptions. Stood at the deli counter for a little while before one of the three people working behind the counter actually noticed my 6'4" 300 plus pound frame. Even though there was only one other person besides me being helped. I was excited to see that they had homemade salami on the menu so I decided to get a whole grinder. The young lady who was helping me seemed somewhat bothered that she had to wait on me. I ordered my grinder and made a quick change to it BEFORE she started making it and her disappointment was very apparent with her body language. Whatever, it was quite humerus actually. That kind of thing doesn't really bother me. Also picked up some sausage, antipasto salad, etc as well. As far as the grinder goes the homemade salami was delicious and an excellent choice. The grinder roll is massive which is what I think people are so hypnotized with when they mention the Pajers grinders are "huge". Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of meat but its large size is mostly due to the massive roll. Still, it was worth the $18 in my opinion. Cash only, so be aware of that. If you're in the area it's worth stopping by, not too sure I'd drive too far out of the way to stop in there though. Also, be prepared for some potential "spicy" customer service. Perhaps they treat their regular customers better, who knows?
