Definitely one of the most unfriendly locations i have been to. The staff is never friendly and sometimes they expect you to ask for your order and other times if you ask then they get mad and tell you to wait until they put the order out for the Togo location. We've ordered from here multiple times and each time I have to put a note into Panera support about something that went wrong with our order. You'd think in a busy located area this chain would have its stuff together or go out of business. The last time we ordered, they completely forgot our kids sandwich and gave us just a yogurt parfait instead. Completely wrong + we were all starving and recovering from the flu (hence why we got it delivered). Most horrible customer service ever! Ordered food online the day before to have it delivered to the office for an employee meeting. The ordered was delivered missing most of the order, when called or the add'l order the manager said she doesn't know what happened but they are now too busy to make the add'l order and suggested that I just order somewhere else. This store is in need of some help, in more ways than one. Attempted to order of the kiosks, tried to pay with a gift card. Tried multiple times and ultimately it says go order at the register. At the register, the lady running it needed to stop after literally everything I said to type stuff in. I said steak & cheddar sandwich with chips, she says wait, wait, what side do you want. I asked for two fountain drinks. Wait, wait, what drinks? It was pretty painful. After waiting an exorbitant amount of time for our pick 2 and sandwich, we were able to eat. The new corn chowder was good & flavorful, my frontega sandwich was falling over though. My husband enjoyed his steak sandwich, especially with the horseradish sauce. I understand why your store is keeping the cups behind the counter. today i go in there and ask for a cup with my Togo order and show my receipt to one of the guys in back prep area. I was handed a water cup and i say 'oh that's a water cup , i ordered a large drink.' The response from your employee is 'good for you' also in a rude condescending tone at that. Stopped there for breakfast and ordered a latte and bagel with cream cheese. Waited 17 minutes and left there without ever getting my order because as a bus driver I had to start a route. While at the waiting area I watched the staff literally just converse away and not a single order got done over 10 minutes. I stopped at panera for some bagels and French onion soup. I started with the automated system. I tried to order a half dozen bagels. It wouldn't let me do the custom bagels. It kept sending me back to 2 bagels that were out of stock. I tried several times from the start. I checked on the soup in stock. So I went and stood by the registers to order, no one there. A constant line of people walking up to pickup counter. Both gals at that counter looked right at me, several times leaning on my kane and counter as by then pain had started to build beyond where it was. I was also noticed by at least 2 people in the back. One was probably the dishwasher. Somewhere between 10 to 15 minutes, I looked at my phone i left. Then I went to brugers bagels, but they closed at 2 pm. Next time it will be brugers, same shopping center. I have been handicaped by pain issues for a decade now, and i am on drugs. I go to petsmart monthly as our cats and dogs consume large bags of food. Now I know where not to go for a year or more. read more

While I don't go to this location as much as I did in the past (don't work near here anymore), I still find it to be just fine. The staff tends to be on the young side, so some don't have quite the maturity to understand customer service. That being said, the food here is prepared exactly as expected, and the freshness is the same. I usually get the Chicken Fuji Apple Salad because it's got everything a salad should: Sweet, savory, and umami. Unless you're really hungry or are going to share it, get the small salad. The large feeds two, easily. Admittedly, I've eaten the large salad all by myself. Yum! For me, it's worth the stop when I'm in the neighborhood. Order #303572109 Ordered 7 lunch meals(half sandwich and half salad) for a group planning session with our partners. We only received 5 of the 7 meals and when I tried to call, the phone would ring and then go dead. I did get a hold of the catering line and they were unable to assist me but stated to continue to call until you get through. My option at this point is to go and get food for the rest of our group. This particular Panera is your typical Panera -- it does all the things you want a Panera to do and can completely satisfy your bread bowl craving any day of the week. No complaints about the quality of the food. But I swear that every time I go into this store, the entire staff seems to be lollygagging around. One notable exception is a kid named Tyler, who more often than not takes my order. I love Tyler because he actually can keep up with my on the register... even though my order is full of exceptions, exclusions and special requests. He's fast and friendly and very focused on customer service. But everyone else in the restaurant is a complete dud, including some management... For instance, the last time I was in, I placed my order with Tyler and then moved over to the counter where they make the food. The employees back there were in no rush. One had been whacked in the face with the swinging door and was busy complaining loudly to her co-workers about how it was someone else's fault. The manager who was standing right there did not seem to be concerned at all about a potential workplace accident but did not tell her to take those kinds of comments about her co-workers off the floor. Or, better yet, that it was not appropriate to be badmouthing her co-workers at all. Her fellow co-workers were about as motivated as slugs to fill orders, and I watched one let a pannini sit on the griddle long after it had popped open to the point that I would bet it was burnt on the bottom. But this time, early Saturday afternoon, they were clearly understaffed. Tables went uncleared, there were napkins on the floor and they never did get the lemonade dispenser filled. Pretty meh all around. I try to avoid Panera, not because the food is nasty or anything like that, but I feel like I can get way better food for a better price at non-chain places that actually make all their stuff from scratch. However, I was in the area on my way back to work and figured why the hell not, it had been a couple years since my last stop in. I did the half/half deal (whatever they call it, can't remember), and got the chicken wild rice soup and the strawberry poppyseed salad. The salad was OK, but the soup was disappointing. Also, I feel like the layout in here is kind of weird. I nearly collided with people exiting since I couldn't see them coming from the dining area (the glass is covered and they have to turn a sharp corner to get to the door, which faces the registers). The area where you wait to grab your food feels a bit cramped too, both times I've been to this location I've basically just pressed myself against the wall until my order is up. Overall I would not be adverse to going back if it was the only option of a place to eat, but since I know better now, I'll be sure to take the extra 2 minutes to drive to a coffee shop who's lunches are much more deserving of my $$. read more

Panera Bread is my favorite chain. I love coming here with my daughter to grab food, because I can't cook a worth and my daughter loves their mac and cheese. The food is always consistent at Panera. I'm guessing that's because it's not made from scratch, which I don't care. Their bakery is also good, but we don't really eat too many sweets. I'm knocking two points, because consistently the Panera Bread in this area are always messy. The only one that is really clean is the one in Highland Park off Ford Parkway near St. Thomas. Circumstances brought me back to this location. I needed food and an internet connection after a crappy afternoon dealing with a natural gas leak in the old house and not having heat drove me here. I ordered a half grilled cheese on multigrain and their french onion soup along with a fountain drink (dehydrated after talking to firemen and Centerpoint employees all afternoon long.) The Sierra Mist shot out of the fountain drink dispenser and narrowly missed soaking me. I grab a table and it seems that very few available tables have power outlets available even though the place is not very full. My order is called and I pick it up. The "cheese" is orange, even though Panera has a very excellent white cheddar they use on their breakfast sandwiches so I know the grilled cheese is going to be crap and it is. The french onion soup used to be a favorite but now while it has a ton of cooked onions it has a strong bitter taste and seems to be loaded down with caramel coloring agent. The croutons are ok but the soup itself is almost inedible. In spite of very few customers and even fewer of them using the internet the internet speed was painfully slow. I tried to look for a hotel for the night but it took so long to load the search page that I gave up and wound up finding another coffee shop to use a functional internet connection. I used to love Panera when I was a road warrior because their food was good and they used quality ingredients and their food was actually cooked somewhere along the line. Now it seems that slapping a slice or two of processed cheez product into a panini toaster and making soup from a chemical factory is acceptable to Panera. I'm glad I packed some Zantac. read more
