I was never a big fan of Panera until this one came along. It's a great spot for working as there are big comfy booths and fast wireless. Plus it's quiet in the mornings so you can work and make phone calls without clients/co-workers wondering what is going on behind you. Gets busy and loud around lunchtime though. I am a huge fan of the hazelnut coffee and the French toast bagel in the a.m. and the 1/2 sandwich /salad combo deal at lunch. Enormous parking lot. Like many other Paneras, this place is well equipped with plenty of tables and chairs. There are a couple outlets and here on a Wednesday morning @ 7:30am there is plenty of seating. Yummy food, free wifi, and free water, there isn't much else to ask for. Except, the cashier wasn't so nice this morning. Perhaps it's because it's 7:30, but she's got the power to make my day with a huge smile! She chose not to. The food was made quickly and there weren't that many people seated since I think most people take food to go at this hour, so that's a plus for me. But be warned, although they clean the carpets and tables, they aren't too detail-oriented here. The windowsills are pretty filthy - if you're looking to find a second meal or a snack of dead bugs, you'll find it here. Would come back if it were convenient for me. The prices are always reasonable at Paneras too. read more

Food is fine for what it is, but NOT for the money. I cannot believe that I paid $10 for a half panini and cup of soup. The complimentary water cups are dixie cup sized, forcing you to refill a dozen times. I would honestly rather go to Arby's and get one of their market fresh sandwiches for half the price! read more

I am so glad they put a Panera here. When we go to Costco, (Office Max & PetSmart in this mall also), it can be a zoo. This is a nice place to de-stress after there. We got 2 cafe mochas & because I use the My Panera card (frequent visitor card) we got a free cobblestone muffin! Super Bonus! The mochas were nice, left the whip off & they have ingredients lists available. We had to check to see why these are so addictive...is there some drug in there??? Nope, just chocolately goodness. I'll have to remember to take a better pic, so yelpers can see the Outside of the place. read more

First couple visits were ok, so I kept coming back, but after today I'll stop. The internet at this location is UNBEARABLY slow - 56k modem slow. It took me 30 minutes to open and display (NOT read) 4 pages of email (that had 25 messages per screen). Opening up the Yelp homepage took easily 5 minutes. Unacceptable!! I can't even get Google searches to load. wtf The place is also a messy dump. I visit at non-peak times and there is always food all over the floor, crumbs on the tables, overflowing silverware return bins. It's disgusting. On most of my visits, it's a bunch of dumb-ass kids working the counter. 3 Adderall-withdrawing teens hanging out behind the register while I was standing there waiting to place my order (NO one else was around) wondering what the hell they were doing, until a manager-type person came by and said, "Hey, you guys have a customer." Then I had to repeat my order 3-4 times because the cashier was trying to rush through it so fast and confused himself by trying to upsell me a coffee (which had nothing to do with my order of lemonade and caesar salad). "So wait, you DON'T want the coffee or did you want a small?" Hot cocoa is 3/4 full of lukewarm liquid and far too filled with crappy Reddi-whip dripping down the side of the mug. "You want this in a mug or to-go cup" I was asked twice on the same order. I'll visit other Paneras for my peanut-butter cookies, mac'n'cheese and broccoli cheese soup fix. Stopped in for a quick breakfast. The food is what you would expect at any other Panera - good (not great) and consistent (for those who don't like surprises). I had the 4 cheese soufflé and a latte. It hit the spot. read more

I have been to this particular location several times. I think the food is decent (but I wish they would leave out the gorgonzola in most of the salads), but if you stop by this location after 8:00 p.m. you can expect the following: -probably ran out of baguettes -cold, stale, 3 hour old coffee (left over from dinner crowd) for $2 -probably ran out of broccoli cheese soup -the requested butter will be missing from your order -despite your asking for a mug of coffee, expect the immature woman cashiers to ask you if the order is "to go", lol! read more

Their new ordering kiosks and table delivery are a great improvement to waiting around for your number to be called. Salads are really good and you can have them made to order based on your individual preferences. A lot of people come here to use the free wifi and work too. It's a pleasant spot. read more

Terrible. I'm not expecting anything amazing when I come to Panera but I was in a pinch and thought I could get a warm bagel and a cup of coffee, hard to mess up. Wrong. I don't think any of the three people behind the register were listening when I ordered just a plain bagel with chive cream cheese (came out as an everything bagel with plain cream cheese) and it took 15 minutes just to get the wrong order and it was somehow both toasted AND cold... Wack. Even tho this place is close to the air bnb I will be going the extra bit to get somewhere else. read more

This Panera Bread is kind of awkward to move around in. The food was okay, a bit pricey, but decent. The staff didn't seem too happy. I ordered my lunch with one of their self-service devices and I had to ask for a receipt. The place is fairly clean. Overall an ok place. read more

Very frustrating. We got several lunch combos with soup + pasta to go and it wasn't until we got home that we realized they messed up our order. Unfortunately with two hungry kids and being 15 minutes away we couldn't go back and replace it yet again. One of the combos we requested was French onion soup + butternut squash ravioli. Instead we were given buttered noodles + butternut squash soup. Could have easily made this at home. Won't go back to this location ever again, was our first time there yesterday too! read more

Let me start out by saying, Panera is probably one of my top 5 places to eat.. I it at least twice a month.. I've never been to this location and will probably never come again. Came in around 7 on a Sunday evening, the girl working the register gave the nastiest look. I continued to walk towards her and she rudely tells me "you can order now" when there is clearly nobody in front of me. The entire time I am ordering she is just looking me up and down, glaring with her eyebrow raised? I finish ordering (all I got was a Cesar salad with Mac and cheese) she goes "you need to repeat that" ?! Maybe if you were listening and not staring at me you would have heard me.. So I politely and slowly repeated myself. She never asked if I wanted a drink, no .99 cent bakery item (I wanted both) and never asked what side I wanted. She asked if it was for here or to-go, for here please. And that was it.. Waiting for my food, my buzzer goes off and... It's all in a to-go bag? I politely ask the guy behind the counter "excuse me, it's not that big of a deal, but I wanted this for here, could you put it into bowls for me please?" And he looses his damn mind! Rips the bag out of my hand and starts putting into bowls. There's nobody in the place, you're not doing anything, o didn't think it would be a problem, but I guess it was. Sets the plates up on the counter and shoves them towards me and loudly says "there!" while giving me a nasty face. I say thank you and go sit down.. I ordered a "pick 2". Grilled cheese was limp and room temperature. Cheese tasted like "cheese food". The "whole wheat" bread had texture like Wonder bread. Definitely not worth the ten dollars they charged for it. Way overpriced! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I love Panera, but this location has exhibited by far the worst customer service I have ever received at Panera, and I didn't even have to walk in the front door. Firstly, I wished to place an online order that a colleague would then pick up and the server was down. That's fine, I understand technical difficulties, so I decided to call in and place my order. I had to listen to an automated message for over a minute, till I was directed to yet another automated message. I chose the option to speak with a store representative after several minutes of listening to a robot tell me the store hours and that online ordering was available. I then waited on hold. And waited. And waited more. I was on hold for over 10 minutes. By this point I hung up as my colleague called to ask where our order was. I explained I wasn't able to get ahold of anyone and that they must've been busy. I was willing to be understanding if they were still taking care of the dinner rush or they were light on staff, but instead I find out that there wasn't a single other customer in line and only a couple in the dining area. My colleague stated that instead of a hard-working staff dedicated to providing the excellent service I am accustomed to at Panera, he found a group of high school-aged kids lounging around and talking. I waited on the phone with him to give him my order and it took another couple of minutes for them to even acknowledge him to take our orders. They then griped about having to do the slightest bit of work and prepare our food, which they had to remake since they didn't listen properly the first time. Needless to say, this is the last time I will order from this location. You should rethink your staff rather than hire a group indifferent teenagers such as the ones you have employed. read more

What happened was I was trying to order breakfast to go online via the panera app on my phone. I was trying to order my food from the Nicollet Mall location because I was in downtown. Turns out I accidentally ordered from this place. I called and to try to get my money back and they said they will cancel my order and I will get a refund, I spoke with a girl named Carly. Ok. Great. So then, after 3 days, I didn't see a refund and I went and chatted with one of the agents. He said, I will get a refund within a week. A week later, no refund. So I went to chat again and chatted with some other girl and she was nice and said she'd escalate my issue to accounting. Another week later, still no refund. I have sent 3 emails to them and got no response to any of them. I finally decide to call and I got this nice guy on the phone. Turns out, the panera bread here in St. Louis never canceled my order and I never was able to get my refund. So they are giving it to me and an apology gift card. You people over there at this St. Louis Park Panera bread give abysmal customer service!! I offered to come by to fix this matter but, you are stupid and don't know what you are doing!! read more

Not a huge fan of chain bakeries....but Panera consistently breaks my chain-restaurant prejudice! I love that the restaurant is comfortable and easy to relax in, and the pastries and coffee are yummy. I recently ordered up the artichoke spinach quiche and it was delicious. And, I might have taken a chocolate chip cookie for the road (aka to devour at my desk when I feel dead inside at 2:45 in the afternoon)...and it was fresh and ooy-gooey yummy. Have liked other Paneras, but not this one. Order had less than a tablespoon of chicken on half a sandwich. I can go to any other fast food restaurant and get a full breast for less money. The soups were awful, not as i remembered from other paneras, but it has been a long time sincev i have been to one. Bad food and way too expensive for what you get. They must have changed their soup recipes - campbells makes better soup. They were not busy for a reason...they won't be in business long. read more

I frequently order large take-out orders for work lunches from this Panera Bread. Orders are always ready and easy to pick up by the time I drive to the location. Service is friendly and when I pick up the large orders they always ask if I need help bringing the bags to my car. They also are very good at separating and labeling orders so that they are easy to hand out in the office. Food is always good and they never forget to add napkins and plastic ware. read more

Just spent 4 phone calls and significant hold time trying to place an order for a dozen pastries and some coffee for a meeting this morning! Was redirected to the website but needed an opinion so called and got CATERING downtown. The person flatly said they had 4 pastries and could not give me a dozen! That's it! No help.
