It was my first time coming to Boketto and I will say you don't know what to expect when walking in through the front door. When you enter though, the interior is gorgeous. The mood lighting is on point. For the food, my favorite items were the crab cakes, the brussel sprouts, and the sea bass. I think it was all flavorful, but those dishes stood out to me as being seasoned and cooked well. The servers were very attentive. My water was always topped off and for the fun dishes like the stone top grill, they were clear with the instructions on cooking and the types of sauces. I'd recommend this place for a date night. They have a guest appreciation menu for $45 that will cover an appetizer, entree, and a dessert. (The carrot cake is a must if you like carrot cake. It's definitely on the sweeter side but it hits the spot.)

A little too salty but still an excellent crab cake Dumpling Can be crispier esp at bottom Inside too mushy eats very 1 dimensional Cod Cooked perfectly. But too sweet. The coconut sauce Marination are too sweet Whipped potato Fluffy and creamy Asparagus Crispy not overcooked Perfectly seasoned with nice cheese sprinkles on top Lamb chop Need more pomegranate Chinichuri is amazing Brussels Sugar coated fried A little too greasy Brick Tender meat. Wow! I was so blown away by the food and space of Boketto! This spot has the vibe of being a cool upscale restuarant you take someone when visiting MN. I really enjoyed the attention to detail from our waiter, replacing silverware or filling my water, it was always quick and welldone. If I can recommend anything - it's the Sea Bass. There's something about the tangyness of the ginger coconut sauce with the moist sea bass that was astounding. I really loved it. Also, the whipped potatoes were everything and more! Cant wait to enjoy their 3 course appreciation meal, seems like a great concept for someone new to coursed dinners!
Boketto nails the balance between elevated dining and food that's simply fun to eat. Started with the Stuffed Shrimp, and it set the tone immediately. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, the seafood stuffing was rich without feeling heavy, and the sauce tied everything together with just the right brightness. The Australian Wagyu Filet was the standout. Beautifully seared with an incredible buttery texture, it let the quality of the beef do all the talking. Every bite was tender, flavorful, and exactly what you'd hope for when ordering Wagyu. Beyond the food, Boketto gets the details right--creative presentation, polished service, and a modern atmosphere that feels upscale without being pretentious. Whether you're celebrating something special or just treating yourself, Boketto is absolutely worth the reservation. I'll definitely be back.
Absolutely love this spot for a nicer date night! Have been here a handful of times now and it has never disappointed. Both the surf or turf options are fabulous - I personally love the sushi (signature Boketto roll) and my boyfriend has always enjoyed the steaks. Highly recommend getting a side with the meal, you can't go wrong with any of them! The lobster mac & cheese, creamed corn, and brussel sprouts are top notch. Great location- parking is made easy with the numerous free ramps in West End. Have always had friendly servers who make it especially special for celebrations like birthday/anniversary.
Boketto was everything I hoped it would be and more. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt elevated. We were seated in a cozy back dining area, the chairs were surprisingly comfortable, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The lighting is dim and intimate, with a small table light that makes it easy enough to see the menu. The hallway to the restrooms is extremely dark, but the restrooms themselves are very nice, complete with quality hand soap and real hand towels instead of paper towels. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The décor is one of the first things that stood out to me. From the unique lighting fixtures to the rich wood accents, blue velvet chairs, and stylish mirrors, every room feels thoughtfully designed and visually appealing. The atmosphere feels upscale yet comfortable. The music upstairs near the bar leaned more toward a club vibe than I expected, which gave the space a fun, energetic contrast to the elegant dining room. Overall, it's a restaurant that's just as enjoyable to look at as it is to dine in. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server, Curt (I hope I'm spelling that correctly), was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and took the time to answer all of my friends questions without ever making us feel rushed. We were greeted with warm scented towels to clean our hands before eating, and throughout the meal the staff quietly kept our table clean by brushing away crumbs and clearing dishes at just the right times. Those little touches really stood out and made the evening feel special. The drinks were fantastic. I ordered the Lavender Stardust mocktail, which was refreshing, unique, and one of my favorite mocktails I've had. My friend ordered a Dragonfruit Lemomade that she really enjoyed as well. My partner got the tableside Old Fashioned the presentation was also a fun experience. The French onion soup was the only disappointment of the evening. It wasn't bad, but I was hoping for a much richer, more flavorful broth. My partner ordered Calamri and really liked it because its like it should be. My friend even tried it for the first time. The Hot Brick was absolutely worth ordering. It was interactive, delicious, and made for a fun experience to share at the table. Even my friend, who tried all of the sauces, enjoyed them. My steak was outstanding--easily one of the best steaks I've had. It was perfectly cooked with a finishing salt that really brought out the flavor. The whipped potatoes were incredibly smooth, buttery, and comforting. Both my friend and my partner got the Chicken and Sausage Rigatoni. They both seemed to enjoy their food. I also tried the lobster mac and cheese, which was rich and delicious, and we finished with the lava cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. This isn't an inexpensive restaurant, but for a special occasion the entire experience felt thoughtfully put together. Between the beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service, and excellent food, I would absolutely return. Boketto exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to come back. Highly recommended. Some of the best food I've had at a restaurant in a long while.
Located at the West End St. Louis Park. Free parking is available either via upper or underground parking garage nearby. Stopped by for a friend's birthday dinner and was excited to check it out. The place is nice and clean. Was greeted by a staff member right away in front and was directed to my friend's table fast. The drink round started...I was recommended the lavender haze and went for it. It was light and fruity which I like. We had ordered crispy calamari, steam mussels, lobster pappardelle, and chilean sea bass to share. Crispy calamari - cornmeal & parmesan crusted, buttermilk, harissa, nam pla, spicy mayo. This was crispy and delicious. The nam pla was like the Vietnamese fish sauce and was tasty. Steamed mussels - white wine, garlic butter were delicious. The bread was soft and the seasoning on the bread was really good. Dipped that in the nam pla sauce which made it a yummy combo too. Lobster pappardelle - brown butter, calabrian chili, basil flavors were delightful. Good chunks of lobsters mixed into the pasta. Chilean Sea Bass - ginger coconut sauce, sweet & sour cucumbers, kaiware. This was super delicious. I like the ginger coconut sauce over the sea bass. I wanted more. I'll be back for sure! The birthday dessert with light was fun to watch/experience! I wanted to give a shout out to our server Chris and all staff members giving us superb service! They always checked in to see if everything was ok or if anything else's was needed and thanked us. That's how you do service! AWESOME service Boketto team! Greatly appreciate it!
First time at Boketto and it absolutely delivered! First of all, I have to mention the wait staff, 10/10! Our server was the best I've had in a long time! He was funny, attentive, and completely on point with every request from our group. The kind of service that makes the whole night better! Highlights: - Espresso martini! Best I've had in a while. Served dark and bold, with a beautiful presentation, and subtle touch of citrus...exactly how I prefer it! - Table side cocktails: So fun to watch! The smoothest Old Fashioned I've ever tasted and I love that they offer this experience. It feels elevated and unique to remember! - Tuna steak: deliciously paired with a sweet potato and fruity mash. Caution though, I believe the fish is salt coated, so it was on the saltier side, but I really liked it! - Any beef steak: this is clearly what they're known for, and for good reason. Cooked perfectly. - Stuffed chicken: hearty, flavorful, and super tender. Great comfort-style option. Skip: The French onion soup. Hate to say it, but the broth was missing flavor, and it was so hot I couldn't eat it until after my entrée. I've definitely had better elsewhere...just isn't their standout. Tip: If you've never been to West End before, check parking lots ahead of time so you're not circling. And definitely hit up Boketto before Restaurant Week is over! Overall great vibes, standout cocktails, excellent service, and strong entrées. I'll absolutely be back soon!
The service here was so phenomenal. We went in on a busy Friday night and the server was so attentive and the vibes were just right. The food was absolutely fantastic and so were the drinks. We ordered items off the guest appreciation menu and then a couple of items from the bar and regular menu. Every single item we had was made with love and tasted amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was exactly what I needed to end the week. I would recommend anyone to go here if you're looking for a great date night! Their guest appreciation menu makes things a little more affordable too for those on a budget!
Wowza! Mandy was very friendly and gave good advice to our group celebrating a 55th birthday! Boketto was truly a fun experience. The ambiance was lively and classy and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend for a special night out!
Nine of us had dinner here on a week night. Creative cocktails were enjoyed ! We split numerous appetizers. One was the samurai roll which was so good one person had it as their entree. The lobster guacamole went fast. The calamari was a bit spicy but well received. I liked the edamame - it had a lot of flavor. For my entree I got the Chilean sea bass and it was perfectly cooked! So yummy. We also it a lot of sides: lobster Mac, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, and charred broccolini. Fries were crazy good! No complaints. At first it looked like the sides were small but they ended up being the perfect amount. There were some leftover greens. The biggest complaint was dessert! Menu said Creme brûlée and there was none. We had a super early reservation and service was excellent. As it filled up, service got more spotty. Highly recommend!
YUM! This place was delicious. I went with a friend and their cocktails are so so fun. I had one with dragonfruit and it had a whole popsicle inside! We started with the burrata and the edamame. The burrata was the real stand out here and the edamame was mostly good while some pods were definitely overcooked. I had the mushroom ravioli with a steak for my main. Steak was so tender and ravioli was amazing. We sat at the bar and had great service throughout the night. A fun girls night out or date night spot.
A really nice place to go for a fancy dinner. They have a "guest appreciation" three course menu for $45 mon-thur. We did that. I had the French onion soup, which was good, not amazing. The wedge salad was beautifully plated. The steak frites were a large portion with a huge amount of truffle fries that had a good crisp to them. I couldn't eat all of them because I had to have room for their lava cake. The steak was a hangar steak and a little on the tougher side but still very good. The truffle mushroom pasta was good although my girlfriend said the truffle flavor was pretty subtle. It wasn't subtle on the truffle fries! The lava cake was very creamy and beautifully plated. The cocktail menu is also excellent, with them preparing one cocktail with a bubble of smoke tableside. This place makes dinner feel special and our service was excellent. I especially love it for the creative cocktail menu and the ambiance. The fifth star definitely is for the ambiance and the value of this menu.

The food was really good. I ordered the chilean sea bass, lobster mac and cheese and the whipped potato. It tasted really good. The service and the server were amazing. I went a bit before evening time so it wasn't busy. The ambiance was nice. They do add an automatic gratuity to the bill though. read more
I stopped in with a friend for their Sunday social hour. They have some nice drink and appetizer specials at the bar. As always, the ambiance and service was phenomenal! The brussel sprouts are so good; they add vibrancy with the feta, bacon, and pomegranate seeds that elevate the dish. I will be back! read more

Went to Boketto during social hour. Surprisingly not as busy as expected. Ordered the Guest Appreciation 3-course; super worth it for the price and portions! I quite enjoyed most of the food. The key lime pie was delicious! I also ordered the cucumber marg and dragon fruit sangria. Both excellent drinks. Service was very friendly and attentive. We were served quickly and they even minded our time as we had to be somewhere after dinner. The decor was lovely. The mood in the restaurant is intimate and tasteful. read more

Restaurant week did not disappoint! Enjoyed a 3 course special. Crab cake was delicious. The steak frites were amazing. The fries are generous and hearty. They tasted like yucca ti me which I enjoyed. The restaurant week special included dessert. The chocolate lava cake was dense and so satisfying if you're a chocolate lover like me. Our waiter gave great suggestions. He advised me to go with the steak frites over the stuffed chicken. He cautioned the mezcal cocktail is not for everyone and has been sent back by some. Since I love mezcal and I wanted something to warm me up, I stuck with it. I liked it but could see how others might not. It's thick and not fruity tasting. Overall, great service and very nice place. Everyone was friendly. A little slow but they were quite busy. It was worth the wait. Love the classic, fancy style decor, but it's fun and not stuffy. My husband and I had a reservation on Friday night for our anniversary. The parking ramp is within the strip mall, so I was dropped off at the door and my husband took the walk. We were seated right away, and the table had rose petals, which was a nice touch. Our waiter was very attentive, and the service was great. The food came out quickly and was fresh. I had the filet mignon (perfectly cooked) with a loaded baked potato--delicious! The sushi was also very good. The bathroom was cute and clean, so I had to get a picture. They surprised us with a cake to celebrate, which was such a kind gesture and really tasty. This was my second time eating here, and I've been thinking about it ever since. One of my favorite places to dine for networking or elevated nights out. The lighting or the lighting is perfect. The staff outstanding - this was my second visit and the quality did not slip - attentive, willing to give recommendations anytime, truly top tier experience. Prefacing that 3 stars reflect mostly on the flavors and price for what they're worth. I've been wanting to try this place and restaurant week was a great opportunity to do so. We made a reservation and was seated right away. I did not expect such a dark, but cozy ambiance inside. I do love the lighting and overall vibe. My party did the restaurant week menu, so we were able to try many different dishes for $45 each person. I think this was fair for restaurant week price and for what we got. I got the crab cake, roasted stuffed chicken (we ordered all 5 dishes off restaurant menu and shared), and chocolate lava cake. Crab cake was delicious. The chicken was moist, but nothing special, and the lava cake was also okay. Out of all the restaurant week's entrees, the seared tuna steak and mushroom ravioli were standouts. If you're here for that, I would recommend those two. Portions were definitely generous, more than the pictures on yelp shown to be. That's why we ended up ordering a lot of extra food from the menu. The actual menu all a little too pricey. I got 8 grilled oysters for $30 and they were extremely salty and were on the small side. This was not worth it. My friends got lobster guac, brussels sprouts, and lobster mac and cheese. I tried a bit of each and my fave was the mac and cheese. The others didn't stand out for me too much. Another note was that my friend got additional shrimp on her pasta, and that was $16 for 4 shrimps. The server didn't really mention the price and we could have asked for the price as well. While not anyone's fault, I just thought it wasn't too worthwhile. Overall, I think the vibe and services were great. I'm not sure I would go back unless there's another restaurant week opportunity to try new things. read more
We had heard a lot about this restaurant we wanted to check it out! It has a classy upscale atmosphere that's perfect for a date night or girls night out. We were greeted and sat right away in a spacious booth and the service was phenomenal. Our server was great and took great photos of us. The portion sizes for our orders were huge. I ordered the lobster pappardelle and crème brulee which had all beautiful plating which was part of Boketto's appeal to us. Unfortunately, everything was bland and lacked flavor. If an opportunity presented itself, I would be open to giving this another try and order something different. read more
We recently took a trip to Boketto and had a fabulous time. As you walk in, the decor gives you the feeling of being at a restaurant in Florida, Vegas, or another larger city. The restaurant has a modern, clean feel with comfortable seating and great lighting to set the mood. We were seated right away, and our main server, Tanner, was fantastic. He went over the menu, provided recommendations, and shared interesting information about the location. He also introduced us to our secondary server, Victoria, who was equally amazing. We started with their dragon fruit sangria, which had a presentation that was a work of art, as well as their Vesper martini that would make you feel like an instant 00 agent. The whiskey pear smash was incredibly tasty and vanished in seconds, so I recommend ordering it cautiously. We also tried their beer made by Bent Paddle, which was very refreshing. Since we had visited a few other places that day, we decided to share and sample different dishes. We began with edamame, which was nothing special. Next, we ordered the truffle fries, which were incredibly delicious with the perfect amount of salt, seasoning, and cheese. We then tried one of each of their sushi rolls. Their signature roll came last, and someone touched it, giving it a wonderful grilled flavor. Overall, our experience was great, and we will definitely return to try more items on their menu. We had the best date night at Boketto's! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and my husband was in absolute awe of the esthetics! We were sat in this super date night vibey room in the back that is much quieter than the rest of the restaurant and had the best server - Cesar was so attentive, literally felt like he would come out of no where and so courteous and thoughtful. We ordered the calamari to start, so tasty with perfect crunch. The sauce was a bit salty but they do provide limes that I squeezed on instead. I ordered the New York steak and whipped potatoes, my husband had wanted the scallops but they were unfortunately all out so he got the lobster pappardelle. The potatoes were absolute heaven, so light and fluffy & paired perfectly with my steak. My husband loved his pasta and there were huge chunks of lobster that really brought all the flavors together. read more
I wasn't super impressed with Boketto, but I'd be happy to give it another try. The space itself is beautiful with a moody vibe, and staff were polite and attentive. However, I think I picked the wrong entree. I ordered the bacon Wagyu burger, and it was just OK. The truffle fries were actually my favorite part, and the whole meal felt overpriced. With that being said, next time I'll try a steak since that's their specialty. read more

Decided to celebrate our birthdays dinner here. The atmosphere is dim light which would be perfect for a date night. We were caught by surprise with the beautiful table decor or rose pedals. A little more romantic for 2 girl friends lol but we'll take it. Not pictured: they offered us a small glass of complimentary mocktail. Forgot what it was but it was a little sour but pretty tasty. Started off with some grilled oysters: it was tasty . Nice to have a few spots that offer both raw and grilled. Truffle fries: it was recommended by Yelp and also our server. This was a big portion and the paired aioli dip was perfect. I would recommend a good side to share. Brussels sprouts: honey glazed with bacon, almonds, fig, orange. The bacon makes it a little greasier than I would like it but they mixed was good. I do wish it was less oily. Australian Jade Wagyu Ribeye: Japanese A5 was a little expensive this time so we opted for the Austrian Wagyu. The first bit literally melt in my mouth as the Japanese A5. Compared to Japanese, maybe 2-3 seconds slower? lol. But it was very good. We had leftovers and even with a little microwave the next day, it was still delicious and also melts in your mouth. So good! Definitely worth the price and must get. Desserts: since it was our birthday celebrations, we were offered complimentary desserts. It was brownie with ice cream. Also good. The brownie was not too sweet and perfect with the ice cream. It also came out with these sparklers which made it very fancy :). Our server was great. Will definitely return and try the A5 one day :) read more
Felt like walking into a fancy Vegas restaurant when coming in to Boketto! The space is enormous. Parking is a little annoying but manageable in the ramps behind the restaurant. The server was very hospitable and kind, with a good pace of checking in. The restaurant week menu was pretty good! The highlights were the crab cake, and the molten chocolate cake. Lots of regular menu options for non-steak eaters. Great drink menu as well. Loved the ambiance, loved the food. read more
West end has always been hit or miss. The "upscale" area attracts a mix of crowds and foods. This location has hosted multiple different restaurants that don't seem to last so I'm always a little skeptical. The inside of Boketto is sort of upscale? Kind of tacky with the green velvet upholstery to me. Darker mood lighting and they have a "insta" worthy wall for guests to take a picture. Some of their menu items are also social media worthy. For example, the thirty dollar cocktail that includes a cool lil mix and make at the table or the sushi roll that can be torched tableside. For starters, we tried the scallops and sticky ribs. There were only two scallops that came with the starter and they were tinyyyy. The sauce was so delicious though! A nice buttery light coconut taste that complimented the scallops well. That was $36. The sticky ribs were also delicious. For entrees we ordered some steaks and side dishes. The steaks were really good! They top it with butter and salt and it was so tender and juicy. The chimichurri was decent too but nine dollars for that seemed ridiculous. Overall the food was really good! The prices to me seemed way too high though. The service was excellent and attentive at the right times. It wasn't loud in there which seemed to be the case reading other reviews. There is parking in the ramps in west end area. Came to Boketto for Winter Restaurant Week with a friend. This was our first time dining here and we definitely left impressed! RW menu for a three course dinner was $50. A classy experience from start to finish, the waiter began the night with two lemongrass scented warm towelettes for our hands and a complimentary mocktail. We started with the Japanese Milk Bread and Crispy Calamari, followed by two orders of the Salmon (faroe island filet, chorizo, gigante bean ragout, kale, parsley), ending with chocolate caramel lava cake with ice cream. This ending was decadent! Everything was so good! The salmon flavor was insane, the broth that it came with had a great savory component. Everything was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The ambiance of this restaurant is spot on! Very classy and trendy, dimly lit, romantic if that's what you're looking for. I'd absolutely come back to try more at Boketto, 10/10 recommend! read more

My husband and I were looking for a new date night spot and we were excited for the offerings Boketto had for Restaurant Week. The vibe was great and our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Our food portions were on the smaller side but VERY good! It was a great deal for Restaurant Week. The only thing I didn't really care for was the sauce on top of the carrot cake. It was way too tart and took away from the flavor of the cake. Our sushi roll was so good! Great date night spot! read more

Service was impeccable. The ambiance was chic. Absolutely loved all the different drinks we tried. The oysters were delicious along with the different Wagyu choices we ordered. I'd skip this during restaurant week but will definitely be going back. read more
I went into this with the bar set not super high, I heard the owner is from a restaurant I'm not the biggest fan of and worried this would be just a overpriced version but I was completely WRONG to assume that. It was such an amazing experience!! First off the staff were so kind and attentive, when we entered in and said our reservation they said happy birthday right away. When we sat down our waitress met us there right when we sat down and was very attentive. The Atmospher was a really chill, trendy vibe that they hit the mark very well! I loved the music/DJ. It did not feel too loud or overwhelming. It's more beats than singing so you can still hear people talking. The only two things that I would say weren't my favorite was it was very drafty (it got very cold and we were sat decently far away from the front door). The other thing was they had some Christmas decorations that looked very out of place with how elegant all the other decor was (but that's just a person preference). Now to the food! Everything was so tasteful! The drinks were very well made. We got the sticky ribs with milk bread on the side and highly recommend! We did get the waygu nigiri and the meat was amazing but there was too much of the bread and it just dried your mouth out. I would say try something else over this but again it was good but I didn't think it was the best thing we tried there. I got the truffle spaghetti and it was amazing! Highly recommend! I felt like all the portions were really good sizes. I definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

Okay here's the tea. Do not come here for a great culinary experience. Like yes everything is good. But like I could live without it. But the service here is amazing. We met Josh at the bar and Cameron were our servers. I loved them both. So nice and so great! The cocktail experience is so worth it. We got both but I think the old fashioned has more of a vibe. Something of a date night/anniversary dinner for us, and Boketto came through brilliantly. Gorgeous place, only half-occupied at 6 pm on a Friday, but there should have been a line out the door. I had a Vesper Martini, actually two, because they make them with Monkey 47 gin. Cold and crisp on a hot summer evening. Then we started with Tomato & Burrata, worth the trip alone. Had a nice bite to it, due to Calabrian chilies. Couldn't stop eating it. Then it was an 8 oz Filet and whipped potatoes for us both. It being an anniversary, our lovely server brought us some kind of fantastic chocolate lava cake. It was a bit expensive and worth every penny. I took a few photos, but the only way to really get the picture is to dine at Boketto yourself. I suspect we'll be back. read more
Went to Boketto for date night and it didn't disappoint. It's in West end and they have heated underground parking. Walked in and it was pretty busy, good thing I made reservations. Dimly lit which is my vibe and they had a DJ which was pretty cool for a restaurant that definitely feels upscale. It is technically a steakhouse and I'm not big on steak so I didn't know how much I'd like it food wise. I ordered calamari to start and it was amazing. Also ordered some sushi rolls which I enjoyed and some cocktails. If you like some theatrics with your dining experience, they had cocktails they do table side and torched our sushi at the table. Very friendly staff, prompt service and they knew a lot about the menu and have me great advice on what to try. They also had a space for you to take photos by the entrance. Wanted to try this place since I've been hearing so much about it. I didn't have a reservation so, I sat by the bar area. When I first walked in, I noticed the area was really big. There was a lot of seating and the ambiance was dark. I will definitely book a reservation. I decided to come here last minute on a weekend during dinner so, I got seated at the bar area. There is seating right next to the bar, or a few small tables towards the side. I sat at the side table and was a bit confused as it took a while for someone to come over. It seemed like all the bartenders shared a table so different staff kept asking the same questions afterwards... I think that's something they should fix.. Other than that, for a starter I got the grilled oysters. Tastes good but the portion is disappointingly small. Wish they gave more for the price. I tried the lobster lasagna, which had brown butter, calabrian chili, and basil. It was really good! There is a hint of spice and the way it came out looked unique. Lastly, I ended up ordering the rib eye steak. I feel like you can't go wrong with a steak but it was nothing special to me. I think it's worth a try but not sure if I would return. The price is relatively expensive, but the staff is very friendly and I think this is a great place to have a drink with friends. read more
