Awesome Panera Bread location. The staff is really friendly and are on top of everything. We originally only wanted iced teas because it was so hot. We saw the food and ended up walking back in to get a sandwich. Our food came out quick and it was delicious.

Cinnamon Crunch Bagel

I came in today and was greeted very kindly by the assistant manager. They were very nice however, the cinnamon bagel I ordered didn't taste at all like how they normally do. It tasted a little like weed. It did not taste good and it was also sort of spherical.

Asiago Bagel Stacks are amazing... A must-try.. Love the softness of the bagel, the filling was satisfying.. We got 1 Tuscan and 1 Roma Chicken and both bagel stacks are delicious... Will try it with their coffee next time ..

Food was mehhhh. It was honestly bland and overpriced. HOWEVER, I am giving a 5 star review because the cashier Luis was so kind & helpful. He had so much patience with my mom and I. He answered all of our questions. There was also a gentleman in the back who let me switch out my blueberry lemonade because I didn't like it. I appreciated that as well. Sometimes having pleasant staff like this young man Luis makes up for mid food. EDIT: the service just got BETTER. My mother left her purse behind on accident & thankfully the wonderful honest manager Cindy had it for us kept safe in the back. She returned it to us with everything inside!! The staff here is so awesome I actually wish I could say I loved the food!!!! lol

My wife and I came to Panera for dinner today. I haven't been to Panera in a while, but I had an $25 gift card from Christmas, so it was a good time to use it as we were shopping at the Nut Tree Plaza. The restaurant was clean and there wasn't many people eating when we first arrived just before 6:30pm. They have some self serve ordering kiosks and 1 register where someone can take your order. We bother ordered 1/2 sandwich/soup (Pick 2 deal). For the sandwich we each tried the limited time Ciabatta Dippers sandwiches. My wife got the Bistro French Onion Soup and I got the Broccoli Cheddar Soup. The Ciabatta sandwiches were good, but could benefit from a little more meat. The dippers is basically one of their soups, the French Dipper included the Bistro French Onion Soup to dip in and the Spicy Chicken Dipper had the Creamy Tomato Soup to dip in. We did not read the full description of the sandwiches, otherwise we would have either ordered a different soup or had a salad instead of soup. Overall, it was a pleasant meal, but for the price it left us wishing for a little bit more food.

We first discovered this place about a year ago and, tbh, we were not immediately impressed…read more.. mostly because we ordered the wrong things, I think... But... The service was incredible. One of us ordered a salad and she did not like the dressing it came with. One of the employees (Willis) overheard her mention it and was Johnny on the spot offering to remake the salad with a different dressing. Months passed and we went back. I immediately noticed how friendly the staff was. Like crazy friendly. Like... maybe they even enjoy their jobs friendly (in food service that is pretty rare). This time Jerry took our order. Super friendly and interactive. I mentioned that he seemed really happy. He informed us that one of his favorite artists was dropping a new album that night and couldn't wait to hear it. We went back a few days later and Jerry was there again. I asked him how he liked the album and then we got into a discussion of music. We discovered we had very similar interests. Anyway, we are now very regular customers. I have met Jerry, Willis, one of their new hires, Miah, and their new Manager, Travis. Every time I go in, if I meet someone new, they are just as friendly as everyone else. I am slowly getting to know them all. Also, I now have my favorites. The Almost Fried Chicken is really good as well as the Chicken Parm. If you are looking for a place with a positive atmosphere and good eats, be sure to put this on your list. I just want to add that I've now been there several times since writing this review and every time, without fail, the interactions have been unbelievably positive. It is SO obvious that they care about their customers. There are people I forgot to mention, also, so wanted to add extra shout-outs to Sierra, one of the managers, who obviously knows how to treat her employees and her customers. And I recently met Brae Lynn who seems to have been a fantastic addition. It's gotten to the point where I'd almost rather eat there than eat at home. In short, if you've had a bad day, head on over to Mendocino Farms and get a shot of positivity. I'm pretty sure that's free. The food is a bonus! Why go to some fast food place where people hate their jobs? We know it. They know it. They know we know it.

The salads were fresh and really good, and we tried a few different sandwiches that were all very tasty and flavorful. Everything tasted fresh and well made. First 100…read morepeople get a free Tri Tip Sandwich (we were too late at 12:20pm), but if you missed out on the free ones, then they had them for purchase at a special $9.99 price. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a couple of employees at the balloon archway at the front of the restaurant, handed each of us a National Tri Tip Day sticker and told about the specials they had for this event: free tri tip sandwiches for the first 100 people, $5 draft beers and a chance to win free tri tips for 1 year. They were decently busy, so we opted to order at the outside pickup window and take our order home to eat. We ordered 4 tri tip sandwiches to take home ($43.21 with tax). When I opened up my Buckhorn Rewards App, I saw that I had an 1 year celebration reward (5oz Burnt Ends w/ Fried Onion Strings), I redeemed that with my order. At the ordering counter the had a QR code to enter their "Free Tri Tips for a Year" drawing, which I entered. Both their tri tip sandwiches and Burnt Ends were delicious! They had some side sauces (chipotle ranch and sweet fire BBQ) that I poured onto the sandwich and then I dipped the sandwich in their Au Jus which was a great combination. I believed the tri tip sandwiches are normally $15.50, but were $9.99 for today's event, it was a great deal. Buckhorn BBQ and Grill is a great place for the BBQ meat lover. Their prices are not cheap, but the quality is there. They do have some deals on the menu and specials on certain days such as $10 for 3 fish tacos on Fridays. Don't forget to join their rewards program for free food.

Stopped by this small Cuban restaurant recently and had a great experience overall. It's definitely…read morea cozy spot -- the interior is pretty small with limited seating, and you order at the counter when you walk in. Luckily the weather was perfect the day we went, so we grabbed a table outside and it ended up being the ideal way to enjoy the meal. We started with a Cuban café with condensed milk, and it was incredible. The coffee was bold and rich like a good Cuban espresso should be, and the condensed milk added the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess. It was smooth, strong, and honestly one of the best cups of coffee I've had in a while. For food, she ordered the chilaquiles and I ordered the ropa vieja plate, and we also added an order of papa rellenas to share. The chilaquiles were easily the star of the show. The chips were perfectly coated in sauce without being soggy, and the sauce itself had a really unique flavor compared to the traditional chilaquiles I'm used to. It had a deeper, richer taste with just the right balance of spice and tang. Every bite was packed with flavor and it felt like a really thoughtful twist on the dish. The ropa vieja was just as impressive. The shredded beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, clearly slow-cooked because it just fell apart with each bite. The seasoning was spot on -- savory, slightly tomatoey, and really comforting. It came with black beans and rice, and even though I'm usually not a big fan of black beans, these were excellent. They had a lot of flavor and a great texture, not watery or bland like they sometimes can be. The only thing that didn't quite land for me was the papa rellenas. They were well made, but I was expecting something with more of an empanada-like texture or a crispier outer bite. Instead, it was much more potato-forward, which made it a little heavier than I was hoping for. Service was amazing! Kind friendly staff Overall though, the food was flavorful, the coffee was amazing, and the relaxed outdoor seating made it a really enjoyable meal. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in the area.

Everything in the bakery looked absolutely delicious. We tried a quiche and a sweet pastry and both were amazing. They also have pretzels, which I'm very excited to try next time. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even nicer. The bakery is located right in downtown Vacaville, so it's a perfect spot to sit outside on the plaza, enjoy your coffee, and have a pastry. The food tasted fantastic and we will definitely be coming back. Such a wonderful find!

Popular cafe in Downtown [Vacaville CA]…read more After our lunch next door, we stopped by this bakery. My daughter, who is a local here in Vacaville, mentioned that it is a popular spot among the locals especially on the weekends and most of the time you won't be able to find an open seat... let's check it out. One thing I noticed immediately is that the cafe is bright and spacious inside with lots of natural lighting coming from the large windows. There are indoor and patio seating, plus it is next to the naturally shaded promenade, where you can also find relaxing in one of the picnic tables or benches. This is a bakery and they also have non-caffeinated drinks. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and a marble cake. That slice was huge! Daughter chose her favorite-- brownie! and a blended mocha latte. Very nice interior and an inviting atmosphere over all. Good customer service. Review #4047
