You can see the available outdoor seating there too. It wasn't too busy either for around 4:20 pm on a weekday. My mom came with me on this visit. We had found a gift card for here, so that's what brought us here. Once you come inside, the first thing I noticed is that to the left was primarily a shopping area for stuff, and the restaurant is on the right side of the business. We were immediately greeted at the entrance and went to a table in the dining area. Shortly after, our server Olivia came to the table to introduce herself and ask us what we wanted to drink. In this case, both of us just had water, though I had mine with lemon in it. After the drinks came, she asked if we were ready to order, but we weren't quite ready since it was the first time here for us. After several minutes passed, she came back and we were finally ready to order. My mom ordered the Egg Salad Sandwich and I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Panini. Both sandwiches came with their housemade chips. After about ten minutes or so, the food came out to the table. Both food items looked really good. The Chipotle Chicken Panini was hot and flavorful. It did pack some spice, but not too much. The homemade chips were good and crispy too, just the way I like them. My mom really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and the chips too. Overall, this was a very good visit. The food and service were great. When it came time to pay, the gift card didn't work and they were not able to honor it. Apparently the gift card was pretty old. The manager came and checked it out too and couldn't make it work either. She said that I would be contacted afterwards, but I never did hear anything back about it. They are locally owned, so it was likely something they couldn't do. What really stood out to me, though, was Colton. He went well beyond what I would normally expect from someone working the host/to-go area. He personally made sure my steak was exactly how I wanted it and genuinely seemed concerned about whether I was happy with my order. That type of customer service deserves recognition. He knows how to take care of customers, and in my opinion, he deserves a raise! I do think there is an opportunity for improvement when it comes to management. There was a manager positioned at the front during my visit, and while I obviously don't know her personally or whether she is generally a nice person, her disposition toward customers did not come across as particularly friendly or welcoming. More importantly, I noticed a clear difference in how warmly she interacted with certain customers versus others. When you're in a management position, customers should feel like they're receiving the same level of courtesy and hospitality across the board..you shouldn't pick and choose who gets the friendly version of you. It was especially noticeable because she remained at the front for much of the time, closely overseeing the hosts, so those of us waiting on to-go orders could clearly observe the differences in her interactions with different patrons. If you're going to be that visible and hands-on with your staff, I think it's even more important to model the same customer service you expect from them. Thankfully, Colton did exactly that. Despite how packed and hectic the restaurant was, he remained attentive, personable, and genuinely cared about making sure I left satisfied. Colton was absolutely amazing and was easily the standout of my experience. Management should recognize him because employees who care about customers like that are a huge part of why people come back.

While that's part of the fun, I felt bad for the people who won their bingo card but ultimately went home with a donated T-shirt, soil, or plant food instead of a plant. Even a small, inexpensive plant for the runner-up would make the experience feel more rewarding, especially since the event is centered around plants. Instead, everything had to be purchased separately, and we were told the tacos (which are on the regular restaurant menu) weren't even available during the event due to the limited event menu. Clarifying that food and drinks are available for purchase would help set better expectations. Despite those issues, we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. I was fortunate enough to win one of the plants, and it's beautiful. My suggestions are simply things I think would make an already fun event even better for everyone. The service was both friendly and efficient. We were required to start a tab; I was unsure if this is standard policy or specific to the event, but either way it worked out well. I ordered the Baja bowl: grilled chicken, black beans, corn, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and avocado served on cilantro-lime rice topped with tortilla strips and Aji Verde sauce. My bowl was delicious, fresh and portioned just right. The plant selections for the prizes were great, I actually won a Pothos Yellow Flame. I do have two suggestions: 1. Consider having extra plant prizes available for tie-breaking rounds instead of playing rock-paper-scissors. If you win you deserve a plant. 2. It would be helpful if guests were provided with a copy of their bill to verify for accuracy before their card is charged and the tab is closed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the event. I wasn't sure how the Cheese Grits would be, but they were surprisingly good. The last item I had was the Fried Biscuit. Wow that one was a highlight for sure, though I won't do that one too often. My mom said the entree she had was good too and there were no issues. Overall, this was a good visit. I would give it 3.5 stars but rounding to 4 in this case due to the great food. The biggest negatives were the noise levels, as it was hard to talk to anyone there, and they automatically add an 18% tip for all transactions, regardless of party size. Given the circumstances, the service was good too. I will come back in the future, but maybe not on a weekend or around a holiday where it gets busier than normal.
