We went in on a whim for the first time & we're so glad we did! I'm not huge on Asian food as it always leaves me feeling heavy but I do enjoy teriyaki chicken from time to time. The service was nice, we were welcomed warmly and when we expressed it was our first time, the cashier happily offered to go over how the menu worked. We ended up ordering steak teriyaki and chicken teriyaki bowls. I definitely wish I went with the jr. bowl as it is FILLING, but now I have yummy left overs! Flavor was great, didn't feel heavy at all & they're given in to-go plastic containers so they're easy to take out. The restaurant had plenty of indoor and our door seating but the table we sat at while waiting was sticky which would've been my only issue. Otherwise, we're looking forward to leftovers & can't wait to come back!

I decided to try it out since it's been a while, the outside was clean as well as the inside and bathroom. The food hit the spot I had the teriyaki chicken bowl with brown rice and extra veggies, the chicken was really tender! The service was great, the young lady behind the counter always is nice and helpful!

The service is fast and quick with little down time. I was able to meet the owners and chat a little while I waited. The food is delicious. If you're looking for something somewhat on the healthier side of fast food, this place is it. You can choose your protein, vegetables, and rice. Usually I like to dine in when I have the time but had to get back to work. It's has become a lunch stable for me.

I was really looking forward to trying this place for the first time. My experience here was unsatisfactory to say the least. Here is my feedback on product and service: Customer service: Don't expect a smile. Not a friendly atmosphere. I waited over 20 min for my order while everyone who ordered after me is getting their food. A common courtesy to let me know the status of my order would have been appreciated. Also, I'm appalled watching my food being cooked. The guy is literally tapping his head without gloves, and no hat nor hairnet. This screams health code violation. How is this excusable and why is he the only employee without a hat or gloves while preparing food?? Customer service definitely needs improvement, as well as adhering to rules about food safety, hygiene, and/or sanitation. Product: I ordered the large chicken teriyaki with all veggies. The portion I received was not what I expected. I can't imagine what regular size is. However, it was tasty. The chicken was juicy and charred nicely. The veggies was steamed..I think. But took over 20 min. Based on customer service, I would definitely not tip until food is served. I didn't receive the best welcoming experience. Also having to wait for my food for 20 minutes is absurd. I would recommend ordering ahead. You can bypass the wait and the unwelcoming experience. As for their product, I would prefer to order elsewhere for chicken teriyaki for the price I paid.

I discovered Teriyaki Madness on the way to going to the Field House next door right before my volleyball game & this place did not disappoint. First, their service is great & they make sure the place is sanitized and clean. Eriana always greets me with a big smile. Second, their food is delicious and my cravings are always satisfied. I always recommend this place & all who i've told about this place, liked it :D

I can totally appreciate this pre served portion during these times. Usually we receive a full buffet spread of deliciousness.

Same great taste the chicken is grilled just right. Not dry, overcooked nor under cooked. Just right. Thigh are so much better then breast. This portion is served with white rice. I believe some have fried rice. Accompanied with Sautee cabbage with vegetables. Goza , spicy sauce, teriyaki sauce and sweet sauce served on the side in squeeze bottles. Good lunch. Thanks Teriyaki Maddness.

Well, I had an incredible lunch experience at Wang Jiang Lou that made my day! It all began with the warm welcome, followed by incredible service table side and even as I left the team made me feel good (More later!). Whoever designed this restaurant knows something about creating an escape from the world experience. The paneling, table settings, lighting, and every inch of the dining area allowed me to take a deep breath escaping from a hectic hot and humid Virginia Beach weekday hustle! The $16 lunch is a bargain! Offering several impressive entrees plus soup. I am extremely particular about Hot and Sour soup and this bowl was delicious with a subtly of flavors and a pleasant silky texture. I consumed every last drop and returned a clean bowl! I chose Yu Xiang Pork as my entree, which my waitress said was one of the top two favorites along with the pork belly. She said she would give the Yu Xiang Pork the edge. She was right because I loved this dish! I like heat and this offered heat. I like varied texture and this had a range of textures. I want flavor that makes you eat everything served and this delicious lunch offering succeeded. For the price I was so impressed with the variety of mushrooms!! The cherry on top for this visit (No, I didn't get an ice cream sundae.) was the warm thank you's PLURAL that I received from the people up front as I left. Their smiles were beaming at me and they genuinely made me feel like they were happy I came in for a $16 lunch. I said with a wink that I was going to the kitchen to see if they would provide the same smiles of thanks and was told that they would (No, I didn't go to find out.). Clearly a great team serving delicious food in an awesome setting made me wish I lived in Virginia Beach but then I stepped outside into the heat, humidity and hectic world that this FIVE STAR restaurant named Wang Jiang Lou made me forget about for an hour.

You can dine in or do takeout. The restaurant has a laid back vibe, and pretty decor. The hanging light fixture is super cute!! The staff is friendly, and we were greeted promptly!! We ordered a garlic butter corndog, a regular corndog, fries, a cookie butter shake, a chicken sandwich, and a mango lemonade... The owner is super sweet, she brought out new items for us to try that she'll be adding to the menu soon. The crab rangoon fries and crab rangoon wonton nachos.. We didn't have to wait long for our food. I was satisfied with that. Korean corn dogs: the garlic butter was tasty on the corn dog, and the regular one was good also with both sauces. You can choose cheese, hotdog, or half and half!! I always enjoy them!! Fries: they were crispy and tasted fresh! The crab rangoon fries were good also. They had scallions, crab, and rangoon cream cheese sauce. The rangoon cream cheese sauce is delicious. We also added a little siracha sauce, which was just enough spice to make it pop. The wonton nachos had the same toppings as the fries. I really enjoyed the wonton chips!! I'd definitely get them again. I had leftovers and the wonton chips were still crispy. Chicken sandwich: it had kimchi cucumbers and honey siracha sauce. It was good and also on the $5 deals menu. Good deal! Cookie butter milkshake: we both liked the drink. The cookie butter taste came through good. My daughter was a little confused because it didn't have ice cream like a milkshake would. So it's more of a thick milk based kind of drink. But I did enjoy it. Mango lemonade: this drink was refreshing. It had just enough sweetness. It comes in a pint sized container. There's mango, watermelon, and strawberry. You can also add boba for an upcharge. Very tasty!! Cookie butter croffle: Mmmm! My daughter loved it, she left me one bite. Lol. This is one of my top flavors!! Honestly all the croffle flavors are good!! All I all, the food was good and customer service was also! There's always something new to be on the lookout for, so check them and their menu out!
