I've tried to be patient with this Panera location and give a little grace due to the pandemic. That being said, there have been at least 4 different occasions when I have ordered Curbside Pick-Up and ended up having to just go inside and get my food. I will receive the email that my curbside order is ready and that they will bring it to my car shortly, but I've waited 5-10 minutes sometimes after receiving this "Ready" email and no one brings it out. This is kind of long to wait food such as the grilled I ordered today which does not taste as great when it's semi-warm. Additionally, I'm usually driving with my 4 and my 2 year old in the car, and I definitely try to avoid taking them out of the car unnecessarily which makes it even more irritating that at least half of the time I order at this location, they don't bring out my food. I also tried calling the restaurant during one of those occasions in an attempt to avoid taking my two small children out of their carseats just to get the food and end up strapping them right back in, but of course, no one in the restaurant answered. This Panera location is closest to my home, but I literally would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to the one on Capital Blvd in order to avoid this issue. read more

Panera has some great food, but the incompetence at this location is incredible. I've been going there since it opened and I have yet to get an order that was correct. Yesterday I ordered a latte and it came with no coffee. I ordered a Green Goddess salad which includes avocados, the majority of the time they were rotted. Tonight, after getting home with my order, it came with no dressing. What makes a salad a green goddess salad? The dressing!!! I'm through with this location. And the only thing the manager could say was " come back tomorrow and we will give you another one." Not once did she apologize. read more

The Wake Forest Panera location needs to get it together. My fiancé just picked coffee up from here and my coffee was half full, with the other half being whip cream, it tasted burnt and my cup was covered with Carmel drizzle. We have gone to this location many times in the morning and they never have danishes and are always out of other items. We typically go to this location on the weekends as it's close to our house but we will now drive right past it and go to the location at triangle town center. The amount of food in the bowl isn't consistent with what is pictured on the menu , and not worth the amount they are charging. Today we ordered from the kiosk, I ordered a full size of the cheese tortellini for my teenage daughter, it was $8.69 plus an additional $1.99 for a fruit cup because they were out of bagettes, so that is a total of $10.68 for her meal. When we received it, they did use a large bowl but the amount of food in the bowl was drastically small. I can't even imagine how much you get if you get the half portion. It's always a mixed bag here - one time there was a hair in my sandwich, several times in the past the tables were sticky, or no baguettes available, and tiny little portions for meals that are above average in price. Also the parking situation at this location is terrible- not enough spaces for the restaurants sharing the parking lot, and not enough lighting at night. If done right, I like Panera food. I just think this location is not consistently good enough for the amount Panera charges. For a $10 meal you should leave feeling full. read more

This is one of the poorest kept eatery under the Panera umbrella. I have been there three times. The food is meteorger. The tables are not kept clean and we end up cleaning the table ourselves. If you like Paneras as we do, go the another location. read more

This used to be one of my favorite locations but recently they have messed up something in my take out each time. Today was ridiculous. No cheese on for soup everything I asked for off the sandwich was on it and the sauce was missing! On top of all that when I do have time to eat in the employees seem to get ruder and the dishes less clean. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Beyond disappointing. I love Panera and their usual service and quality of food. Today was a nightmare. This location is completely ill managed. We (2 people) arrived on Mother's Day And placed our order at 10:24. After trying to decide what to get because they were out of all bagels except 2 kinds, many of the soufflé choices were sold out. No coffee, no half and half, no plates, no cream cheese and hot water for tea that was luke warm. MANY customers complaining and walking out. Now I could possibly understand if the place was bulging at the seams but there were empty tables and no lines. At 11:14 I still had not received my very simple order. I went to the registered and requested a full refund which they did. 50 minutes for a very simple order is a bit long to wait. I will not return to this particular Panera. read more

Ordered my family's lunch online. Picked it up from the restaurant and returned home only to find out they left out some of my order. I called immediately. Took three times to get through to someone. Finally got the manager. She said I could come back to get the sandwich and salad or come by later for the refund (they don't refund over the phone). I said I'd like it delivered. She asked if I was in the 8 minute delivery service. I said I thought so. She then stated they had one driver and didn't know when it could be delivered. She had to google my address first to make sure it could be done first since it would inconvenience the driver. I said I was inconvenienced by you guys forgetting to put my order in. Decided I wanted Panera for lunch again today like every other day. I tried to place threw the app like I always do , The app wasn't working I then went to my desk top my soup wasn't available . I proceeded to use the app again epic fail, I called the store no answer ... Now I'm in my car driving to the facility and decided to call again .This time someone answered to tell me that she will not accept my order over the phone due to new policy I have to use the app . I explained that the app wasn't working and I called a few times now I'm walking in the door , I place my order with a not so friendly cashier whom is training another , I placed my order and told the cashier I had been calling . She says well I've been right here I didn't get any phone calls basically calling me a Liar I showed her the phone log she ignored me . I asked to speak to the manager . I probably was better off talking to the wall , Dulce the manager listened an then proceeded to apologize also agreeing that her cashier was wrong . I walked out very unhappy and went back and asked for corporate. Which Dulce the manager did not have and instructed me to google , I called a number on google it beeped busy . Walked out and then asked for the # again she then said to google . This was probably the worst customer service ever .. They need to throw the whole store away .. Cashier needs more training, Dulce needs better Management skills .. read more

I have given this location way too many chances but I will not be going back. I really like the ham and Swiss soufflé but they are out of it more times than they actually have them available. It does not matter how early you go they are likely to be out of them. Then there was one occasion that they actually had one but I got to work and found a hair in it as well as the time that they gave me the wrong soufflé. I went there yesterday for breakfast and of course they were sold out. The cashier advised that it is best to order through the app to ensure that they can fill my order. I ordered and paid through the app an hour and a half in advance. I show up and shock, they were sold out. It would have been really nice if someone could have contacted me in advance to let me know that they were not able to fill my order and saved me a trip. I don't understand why inventory management seems to be an issue but I am done trying to figure it out. There are too many other restaurants with good food and good service. read more

Stopped by for lunch to see how this one compares to others in the area. We had to repeat our order at least 3 times because the cashier had trouble with listening and finding the right buttons. Went to sit down and every table was dirty (11:30am, as lunch crowd was just starting). Cleaned our own table and finally got our food. Most items were acceptable, but certainly no where near the quality of other locations (Raleigh, Cary, Durham). My daughter's peanut butter sandwich couldn't have had less effort to be prepared. A mound of peanut butter and mound of jelly, and we had to spread to out properly for her to eat. At no point did any employee wipe tables or did we see a manager. It's been several months since opening, there is no excuse for substandard cleanliness or quality. This is a more expensive restaurant, so I suggest you drive down capital to the one across from BJ's to get quality food, service and cleanliness. read more
