We placed a relatively large order today, ahead of time, via the website. We were able to use a coupon for a free half sandwich, which was a nice surprise! Our order was ready right on time, picked it up via drive thru. Our order included sandwiches, soups, a cookie, a bear claw, and drinks. Our order was 100% correct. The food was all prepared correctly and was all delicious! The tuna salad sandwich is one of our favorites, the broccoli cheddar soup was so good! I've ordered through the app for rapid pick up a few times and never again due to the consistent failure to get orders right. If you order any kind of specialty coffee such as a mocha latte you will not receive a mocha latte. You will receive an empty cup and they will direct you to the coffee bar, where they do not have the ingredients to make the drink you paid for. The last time I ordered, which is the last time I will ever order, I ordered a steak and wake. Which had no steak on it. Just eggs. They don't keep steak on the coffee bar either. So I got a wake. Not only is this common, it's celebrated. While I was waiting to get my order. The people behind the counter who were making the orders were laughing amongst themselves about how they left muffins out of the last order. We've shopped this store often. Tonight I bought my wife the Asiago chicken sandwich to go. When she examined the sandwich, there was only 3 pieces of chicken, and more salad material than anything. I called to let them know, and the woman on the phone asked if I wanted a refund or to have it re-delivered. I said I'd like it re-delivered because, you know, I actually wanted the food I paid for and she immediately backtracked and said they couldn't because the managers were in a meeting. Seriously? I work 12-hour shifts. I don't have time to play phone tag or argue about missing food. All I wanted was my damn soup. I haven't been to Panera for a long time and it seems like most sandwich places around here don't sell soup (besides Subway...but I'd rather go in person than do pickup). Panera was super quick to deliver to the car and the person delivering it was nice. The food was hot and delicious but my two complaints (which is why I put three stars instead of more) is this: I ordered a Caesar Salad and it didn't even come with the dressing. So I paid like, $7+ for lettuce, a little sprinkle of cheese, and 5 croutons. My other complaint is that I ordered a small size portion of broccoli and cheddar macaroni soup and I legit got like, half of the actual size it should be. Today was my first visit & I made it just before they closed. I'm not hard to please. I just wanted a cup of chicken noodle soup & blueberry muffins. I got the last 2 muffins they had & when I got home, I noticed that they weren't the same. I don't know if they have different kinds of blueberry muffins, but one has crystalized sugar on top & the other one didn't. The one without sugar was smaller too. I almost never write reviews, mainly because I have become accustomed to mediocre food and bare-minimum customer service in most restaurants I can afford. I love Panera's Asian Sesame Chicken salad. I stopped coming when they discontinued it and I'm glad it's back. But the main reason I come to this Panera is one person: Kayla. Unfailingly polite and helpful, Kayla is the epitome of great customer service. I'm sure she must have some bad days, but I've never seen her anything but positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. She does her job, including cleaning tables and dumping trash, with a smile on her face. She seems to actually enjoy her job and interacting with customers. THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE! Kudos to her and whoever hired her. I am a retired business executive, and I would use her as a role model in customer service training if I were still working. When I called, the first person I spoke with said that he could give me a refund or I could come by and pick up the missing sandwich. Defeats the purpose of ordering delivery and even with a refund, I would have to pay fees when I reordered. I ended up speaking to Preston, the manager who was very helpful and went above and beyond to make up for the issue. Kudos to him for excellent customer service! Yes, I would have preferred to get my full order the first time and yes, I would have liked to have this addressed properly with the first person I spoke to. This Panera Bread has generally been pretty good in the past. My recent experience left a lot to be desired though. I used the Rapid Pickup as that fits well into my schedule and I can run in and get what I order. Usually my order is on the shelf waiting for me to grab it. This time, my name was still on the preparing board. I overheard someone ask about the order and the employee said she was not going to do that until breakfast was over. I thought the whole point of the Rapid Pickup was to have the order prepared by the designated time not whenever the employee wants to prepare the orders. It appeared a manager prepared the order instead of the employee. The bag was not placed on the shelf or even checked so I decided to check. Luckily I did as I was missing an item. I went back to the counter and was told that I was not missing an item that she just forgot to put it in the bag. Well, if the item was not in my bag it was missing from it. The bottom of the receipt says "Accuracy Matters. Your order should be correct every time. If it's not, we'll fix it right away, and give you a free treat for your trouble." I was not expecting anything just wanted everything I ordered. I just didn't expect an attitude to get the missing item. An apology would have been a more appropriate response, something like I am sorry that we did not give you everything you ordered or have your order prepared on time. Hopefully this Panera can start focusing on accuracy and customer service but I won't return any time soon. Came her for a business lunch. The parking lot was a bit crowded but pretty easy to navigate. Shared with Ale house with plenty of space available. Not sure why all the bad reviews, I had no issues. Ordered a pick 2 and opted for veggie soup and turkey and cheese sandwich. Comes with a side and it was ready in about 5 minutes. The soup was good although could have been a bit warmer. So I called the restaurant to see what we could do and the best solution was for us to drive over to either get the order fixed or get a refund. With no compensation or anything for our time or trouble. The reason given for the mistake was that they are short staffed, which I completely understand is a real issue. Everytime I come here the drive thru has 2 orange cones in it so its closed. There is never parking here because ale house is always packed. This creates a problem. Most of the time my order is wrong. If I order online i have to wait 20 min for my order but if I go inside no one is ordering, so all their business is online orders. I have submitted a complaint before after finding about plastic in my sandwhich... no response. Got emails saying customer care was on it- NO REPLY FROM ANYONE. I said 'whatever' and tried again- next 2 times food arrives cold. I didn't say anything just heated it up- even though I live less than a minute from the place. Today, the driver pulls up, leaves shortly after and I get a notification the order was delivered- NO. I call and talk to a manager who said he'd "ask the driver to turn around"... okay... she comes back delivering what? Another cold meal. I am DONE. DONE Ordering from this location. And especially after the lack of response to finding PLASTIC in my sandwhich?!?! It's my own fault i don't know what I was thinking. I really expected better.
