This Panera has been a regular for me since I go to cpp just down the road. Today, sadly was the first time I had a cringe worthy experience. I was supposed to receive 5$ in change and the cashier handed me a receipt, I waited as she got my scone, and she came back. I asked for my change, she looked me right in the eye and claims she gave it to me. Honestly I did not receive it and was rather affronted and mortified that she loudly said that, and I very quietly said I really did not receive any change. I have 11 dollars out of 6 so I could get a 5 back...and I really didn't get anything back. And when she did give me my change her expression suggested she did not believe me.. I'm sorry you must be so skeptical but it was not cool being treated like I was committing a crime. But thank you to the girl who prepared my bagels and wished me a nice day. read more

a new panera bread is in town. it is next to applebee's at the corner of grand and valley. used to be millie's which i never tried before.now there is another option in the area for breakfast or lunch when i visit tjmaxx/homegoods. panera bread's yummy half sandwich/half salads are what i usually get. comes with an apple or bag of chips. my current salad favorite is the strawberry poppyseed with chicken. (you can opt for soup too) i try a different combo each time since they have many options. the rewards card is worth having since you can have free food every now and then. free wifi. read more

I was really really excited when i found out Panera Bread was opening near my home, but what a disappointment :( First time i was there all i ordered was a bottle water and i think a cookie since i wasn't really hungry, but the piggy in me still wanted to order something. Okay, honestly i don't think it takes more than 2 minutes to grab my cookie and hand it to me, but the guy who ordered it took more than 10 minutes! he was too busy chit chatting with his co-workers. ALSO, there was a line with a few people standing in it. Honestly someone has to keep an eye on these highschooler/college employees. Terrible service. Came here with my brother and mom for something to eat and my mom ordered a breakfast like sandwich with egg in it. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte. We received our food and my family members received their drinks. I thought maybe mine was still being made. My mom takes a bite out of her sandwich, opens up the bun and realizes that there's no egg in a sandwich that states there being egg inside of it. We told an employee passing by how there wasn't any in there and he took the sandwich right back. It took nearly 30 minutes for them to cook an egg & during these 30 mins I have yet to receive the drink I ordered. Instead of asking a server, I got up and went to the kitchen area and asked 2 gossiping girls if the drink I ordered was ready. They gasped and I looked into the direction they were looking at and saw my pumpkin spice sitting there on the counter where they grab your food and drinks to take to the customers. Tables were not clean. They gave me salad with no dressing and barely any feta cheese. Sandwich barely had any Avocado. Food was a joke. expensive for there quality of service. I like the food there but my complaint is that they always screw up my order!!! I always order through their online ordering system so everything should be accurate and it's all written out. No problem with the food. However , today while ordering a homeless man stood behind me and had a conversation with himself with every other word a bad word. I was honestly scared because he was very close to me and I wasn't sure what he was going to do next. He came back 3 times while I ordered. While eating this man wondered around Panera bread the entire time doing this. He was still acting this way when I left. My husband and I came for lunch and had a great time! While the food is not extraordinary, it's perfect for a nice, quick bite. He had the chicken sandwich and I had a chicken and avocado salad. Recently opened not to long ago. It's like any other Panera Bread chain but it's great to finally have one close to home. I always order the "You Pick 2" Chipotle Chicken & either the Baked potato or summer corn chowder soup and a bag of chips. The only minor issue I had the first time was that they didn't ask if you wanted bread or a bag of chips so I ended up with bread instead of a bag of chips. I know the other locations ask that but this one doesn't so make it clear to them. I also like the outdoor patio where it's covered and has heaters if its cold. read more

24 days later, it happens again. This time the associate who took our order caught on to the issue and let the other associates know, AFTER another associate initially handed us the wrong order. I go to the bathroom and get a text from my boyfriend that they somehow miraculously messed up our order again and complained to the associate who then challenged it by pointing out the flaw on the receipt. Sometimes I come study here with my friends and I love it! There are outlets where we can plug our laptops and the food is great. When I come here, the order I always get is a small bacon mac and cheese. It's the perfect size and helps me stay full while studying at the same time and personally I think the perfect place to study is by the window so you can get some natural light while studying. It's usually quiet when we go to study so it's a secure environment to focus. read more

So, let me start off by saying i love Panera! I absolutely recommend their macaroni and cheese. If you are a mac&cheese lover, you will die once you taste theirs! It's so ooey-gooey goodness! It's i think $8 for their mac&cheese which i admit is pricey for their portion.. but it is just sooo yummy!! For breakfast i recommend the egg, cheese, and bacon on chibatta. My family and I always get that when we are traveling on the go and it is just amazing! It's breakfast heaven in a sandwich. Trust me, you'll love it! Lastly, i really like their "You pick 2" meal. The first time she was being VERY rude to my dad and I, but i let that go because that was my first time dealing with her. The next time, my dad and I decided to stop by Panera after i took my senior portraits and we got there around 10:33. We weren't sure what time breakfast ended and so once we walked in we started ordering but immediately the same rude lady, barged in and said "BREAKFAST ENDED. YOU JUST MISSED IT" Okay, I can't remember what time it was but i do know we missed it only by a few minuets. Less than 5! And she wasn't going to give in and let us have it? So angrily, we walked out. We werent going to let her ruin our day even more. Lastly, I ordered a cinnamon roll twist and she gave it to me in a paper bag but since i was going to eat it in the car and didn't want it to get smashed, i politely asked if i could get it in a box. She looked at me in the sense of "are you kidding me?" And she was staring at me for a good 10 seconds wondering if i was serious or not... like are you serious? This is my once a week "lunch place" ! I always order online a head of time. I show up and it's ready to go! I love their salads and sandwiches! Since, I'm a rewards member, I earn $2 & $5 discounts, free beverages and pastries. Everything is fresh there! Crazy delicious variety of lemonades & iced teas. I like ordering online and customizing my sandwiches or salads. My co worker and I, accidentally discovered if we order a "whole" sandwich and customize it with wheat bread, we get 2 whole sandwiches! this location's curbside pick up is not convienent at all! first off i arrived at 6:45pm and tried to check in. the wifi service or signal they have at that location said the app was not able to notify the store and to phone in. when you phone in the prompts take about 2 minutes before you can even hear ringing that it connected to the store. now, i can see the employees inside in full on chat mode. no one stopped their personal conversation and no one picked up the phone! it's raining, i walk up to the door and it's 6:55pm at this time and they close at 7:00pm, the doors are locked! i tugged at the door twice, waited in the rain, for about a 2mins and now someone, who was clearly looking at me at the door decides to unlock it. "do you have a pick up?," i thought to myself, you saw me parked at curbside pick up slot #2 for 5mins would that not be a clue to," yes, i have a pick up." she instructed me to come inside and go to the other side of the resturant for the order. the employees on the other side of the resturant are just as lazy if not as ignorant as the ones in the front. no one greeted me there or asked, "how can i help you?" i stood there and watched and listened to these teenagers carry on with nonsense unrelated to work conversations. after maybe about, 10mins of waiting i finally got someone's attention and asked about my pick up order. what now? the, "we are working on it" response turned into a "it's up front at the counter" response after this employee did some investigating. i went up front, got the order and left. no, "thank you" from the staff, "sorry for the wait, please come again next time, or enjoy your meal," was ever said. definately without a doubt this is the worst curbside pick up experience i have ever had so far. i understand this process was probably only implemented months after covid 19 began, but seriously customer service should have been taught long before to this staff. i would hate to see who their manager is! read more

I have come here the last few weeks in a row for the 2-for deal. It's pick two items..sandwhich, salad, soup, or pasta. I always get the broccoli cheddar which is delicious. I tried the Mediterranean sandwhich which was not bad and the Cesar salad as well. The salad was fine, nothing to get excited about, but the soup is so good! Sooo....I come in this Panera a lot, it's very clean, niceish people working always, and the food is always up to par. I'm reviewing on a employee named Jacob, about 6ft tall, skinny, and dark hair. It's Monday 1:00PM. Soo check back in your schedule to see who I'm talking about. This incident is pretty funny to me but thought I should still address it cause not everyone is me and idk if this was proper protocol. Jacob was bringing someone's food to their table, in the process he accidentally dropped the woman's cookie on the floor. The cookie was in a bag, obviously if it was me I really wouldn't care cause it's in a bag...but thinking about cleanliness and basic protocol in mind. Jacob told the lady, "I'll get you a new one don't worry" me sitting across from her table could see that he shuffled to the back looking confused and caught my eyes watching him, so he moved to the counter where you pick up food and proceeded to walk about to the lady's table and gave her the same damn cookie! I'm sorry but really Jacob? You could've just asked her if she wanted a another, instead of lying. I told the lady of what I witnessed and we laughed about it cause it was just so ridiculous, he should've just asked is she wanted another one. The place was pretty packed during lunch so it took a little while to find a table inside. The service was friendly and the green iced tea lemonade was excellent as usual. Slightly different menu than Panera offers in Michigan, they bring the food to you and clean up the tables after you so it was quite a bit new. Kale bean soup. This panera location is spacious and has a lot of seating. There's tables big enough for study groups and tables just the right size for personal studying! although with all the seating it lacks outlets. the few employees I interacted with were kind and helpful. My reason to visit was because the starbucks across the street was packed, yet I think I will come here more often for studying. I enjoy sitting near the fire place and getting my studying done. there's also an outlet near the fire place! read more
