My husband and I went to this Panera Bread to get a SIPS club drink. We ordered at the kiosk, got our cup at the windows, and filled up at the soda machine. Panera Cinnamon Swirl & Raisin Bagel: Bagels typically are not a part of my diet, but I do love having a good warm cinnamon bagel as a treat during the colder months. Panera's version is a sourdough bagel swirled with cinnamon and cinnamon flavored chips, brown sugar and raisins. Although it's a massive bagel there's nothing special or flashy about it (unlike their tantalizing Cinnamon Crunch Bagel), but it delivers what is expected out of that type of bagel. Pleasant, if not light cinnamon flavor, a moderate number of raisins, and a satisfyingly chewy texture (I prefer to warm mine in the microwave as opposed to a toaster). I also like to slather mine in Cinnamon Toast Crunch Creamy Cinnamon Spread (not available at Panera). Panera has some tasty spreads, but they don't have a cinnamon spread of their own (maybe somebody at Panera will take note). The bagel is no better than a frozen cinnamon raisin bagel from my local grocery store and I wouldn't go out of my way to get another, but I would pick it up again in the break room at work. What's up with all the mediocre reviews? Been to this location about a half dozen times, and I must say I find it more than satisfying. Lots of open space, lots of natural light. Ok, it's a little sterile but that's to be expected of many a chain. They have seating for groups of all sizes. Great place to sit and read. Never seems terribly busy but then I've mainly been during off hours. While I like Panera's food, I HATE their drive-thru. Why should I bother to put my order in ahead of time and then have to wait in line behind someone who just rolled up and ordered?! And the Panera drive-thru doesn't park them off to the side and run their order out when done like other places... oh no, the whole line shuts down until their order is complete. Today we went in and the wait was an hour. There was a huge boom of business that they didn't expect. Every single employee was doing their best to help customers with the long wait and keeping the environment very up beat. Even when customers were rude and irritated the staff did not let them get the best of them. I think that is what makes a good business is continuing to work hard when there is a lot of pressure. **Update: Religiously most Paneras forget to add the arugula to my sandwich (since it is a modification) and much to my delighted surprise it was added today even with all the craziness where I would have let it slide. Walked out and essentially donated the $2.20 that my medium coffee costs. 9:20 am on a Tuesday and no hazelnut coffee, no light roast, and no half and half. Waited in line for over 10 minutes to get the damn cup. Clearly understaffed and no interest in customer service. When I asked if there was more coffee the cashier said she would ask them to brew more. I'm. not interested in spending my morning waiting for them to brew coffee. I find it hard to believe that they aren't aware that people come in the morning for coffee and pastry. Geesh. Should have looked at Yelp reviews before pulling in on a whim. They have a ham and swiss on rye on the menu for about 5 bucks. My mom wanted a grilled ham and cheese and they couldn't figure out how to make one. Plus, they charged her an extra 3 bucks for ham and put one measly piece of cheese on the sandwich. I drove through just to get a couple cookies and the girl in the drive through was not very friendly at all. She messed up my change as well and I just chalked it up to a bad day. When I drove away went to eat the cookies and they were rock hard. My son couldn't even eat his. Then I was frustrated enough to call and complain. I wish I would have asked for names because young man who was on the phone was so wonderful! He was so understanding and apologetic and just really made me feel heard and wanted to make it right. He said he would send me a couple vouchers in the mail and I was skeptical but they arrived today. It's hard to go out to eat anywhere today- I feel like it's too often these days that places treat you like crap or take your money and serve you garbage food. I wish I could give this a zero star review. The lady taking our order took TEN minutes to get the order correct. She overcharged me for an item by 4$ and it wasn't even worth it for me to wait in line to have her fix it. We waited over 20 minutes for a TO GO order and they were missing the sides. The sandwich I got has BARELY any meat as you can see in the photo. Why did I just wait 30 minutes for lunch especially when it looks like this. The Panera in delafield is 10000x better. I usually love going to this location for a quick lunch during the weekend. Quality at this Panera seems to have been decreasing lately. On my latest visit, I ordered the creamy tomato soup and seasonal greens salad. I'm used to the soup being nice and thick, but this soup was so thin it was running off my spoon. My salad contained some items that were not supposed to be in it - chicken pieces, what I believe were some kind of nut, etc. I will still frequent Panera, but may avoid this location. read more

Did curb side pick up and it was 7 at night. It took 30 minutes to make the order no big deal. And I waited there cause I was already in the area. There was about 2 customers so I don't understand why my 2 soups and salad took that long. Then they said the order was ready so I said I was there and I was waiting another 10 mins so I got out of my car to go inside to get my order. Again no big deal but the order was just sitting on the counter and there was 3 girls just in the front. I watched a member of the kitchen staff be playful with another by snapping their back with the food tongs on the shirt and hair. I can't help but wonder if my food was prepared with these unsanitary tools. The women's restroom had two stalls. The accessible one was not clean. Spots of dried feces spattered the back of the seat. This was preferable to the second one, this had feces smeared on the seats thickly. It was clear that the filth had been present for a lengthy period of time. It was dried and the smell was bad. It is my understanding this is a newly opened store. Watched employee go around entire floor, use one small cloth, never rinsed or refreshed the cloth as he did all the tables. His technique was one single circular swipe in the center of the table. IMMATURE, LYING, DISRESPECTFUL AND HONESTLY THE RUDEST EMPLOYEES I'VE EVER MET. Called the manager to place an order since it was getting close to closing, he took the order and reassured me that my food would be ready even though it was near closing time. As I pull up to the parking lot, all of the employees are leaving. I told the employees I was there for a pickup since they were all leaving, a bunch of them were surprised and looked at an employee holding a to-go bag with food. When I asked the employee with the bag if I could pick up my order, her friends who were the other employees directed me to the door. I got suspicious so I asked the employee if her to-go bag had my order, she tried hiding the name on the label. When I asked to see the name on the label, she refused. When I asked for her name, she got in the car and shut the door. I proceeded to get her license number as she zoomed out of the parking lot. All of the other employees lurked in the parking lot, talking about the confrontation as I went to see the manager. All the manager did was agree to a refund, but his response lacked any sort of remorse for the way I was treated. I don't think any of these employees are going to have to face the consequences for their actions. I personally have served customers too, and I know how it feels after a long day at work, so I really don't want to be difficult, but these employees--especially the girl who took my food--lack any sort of professionalism, maturity or common sense. Well, once again my rapid pick up order was wrong. I got a small salad instead of a large salad and no croutons for my onion soup. I love Panera. At least 50% of the time, my order is incorrect. I have been trying to call for a half hour (they are open) and I keep hitting different buttons to talk to someone and the phone rolls to a busy signal on every one. I read the negative comments and thought, how can it be that bad? Well it is. Never going to this location again. And might be completely done with Panera. Horrible service and my order was not correct. I ordered the pick 2 and the salad I received and had before was terrible and the dressing container that came with it was maybe 1/4 full. They forgot the bread. The chai latte tasted horrible, tasted like they didn't dilute the chai concentrate. There were a large amount of staff working and they can't make sure the order is correct. I called the store and the manager apologized and offered me several different options to resolve the error. They ended up delivering the missing item to my house! If I could give it, no stars, I think I would. I was sitting in the drive-through line after ordering one coffee for 15 minutes. I placed my order at 10:10 in the morning on 10/29 and I'm still sitting in the drive-through lane and it's 1040 now. I called inside and said why is it taking so long for one coffee and the manager Scott continued to tell me that they were doing their best and that they were busy. I understand that they might be busy but you can pull people up and run their food out to them. You don't need to make the other cars behind them wait for over 15 minutes when they just ordered a single coffee. Also it was beyond frustrating knowing that I was the second car in line and the person in front of me had already been waiting at the window for longer than I had. Worst part is four more cars pulled up to the window and they were getting their orders taken. I'm wondering why are you taking more orders if you can't even fulfill the orders that have been sitting at the window for a long time! Friendly customer service is lacking greatly at this location. I've been here many times since it opened. And gave them some leeway for a few weeks after opening, with training staff and many newer employees. But the service hasn't gotten any better. Going through the drive-thru just about every employee I've encountered has been so monotone and not welcoming, many do not say thank you or hello. They are slow and every time you ask a question about the menu, they have to go and ask ( who has time to wait for that in the morning). I asked for strawberry jam and was told we don't have that; the closest we have to that is "strawberry cream cheese" WHAT!!!!???? I told her those are not the same thing. OMG. It takes them 5 minutes to go get a muffin and put it in the bag. Horrible Panera! You can see 2 other people standing around that could get the muffin and bring it to the drive thru person. We were really excited to try out a new Panera location since the ones by our house are so good. We got in, the entire staff was goofing off and not doing their job... we didn't care too much cause we could order a different way. We went to the kiosk and ordered, got our food and went too sit down. I ordered no chicken with my salad, and when we received it, we got chicken, when we asked them to remake the salad without chicken they made fun of us, and what we ordered, they started laughing and holding the salad up like it was the weirdest thing they've ever seen. (Even tho they made it...)When we grabbed the salad back they said "let me know if it's good enough for you". I was shocked by the customer service. We went back to the table and I asked for the manager. The manager was extremely nice, and gave us our refund with no questions asked, but I will not be returning to this location unless they find better staff that actually care about their job and customer service. read more

The latte took 10 min and the place was dead (and there were flies all over the kitchen area). The regular coffee was cold so we told the cashier and she said she could warm it up in the microwave?! When she saw the look on my mom's face with that response she said well they could brew a new pot, which we didn't have time to wait for.
