Normally, this location is great. Order is usually correct and they help sub things if items are unavailable. But the last 2 visits, orders have been messed up. It took 30 minutes to get one order & everything was cold. Today they forgot my drink, then brought me a drink that wasn't even what I ordered after she had looked at my order. Then I get home to see that the chicken wasn't even in the bread... even though I paid extra to have extra chicken, it wasn't there. Came here for lunch today because any day that the temp is in the 60's in Texas, calls for soup! I love their bread bowl soups! Today I ordered French onion in a bread bowl and a half grilled Mac and cheese sandwich. I guess the girl at the counter didn't hear me say bread bowl, but it happens no big deal. I wasn't impressed with the grilled Mac and cheese sandwich. I went in on a recent Sunday and was not impressed with the selection of breads. Maybe 2-3 varieties. "Panera" implies bread, in addition to the word "bread" in their corporate name. There's a bigger selection of breads at 7-11. Also, there were several flies on the counter who had access to all the pastries displayed. I cannot attest to the quality of the food as I left after waiting 20 minutes in the drive through only to pull out of line when I was next to order because they were taking so long! The kicker is, when I pulled around the car who was ordering there was no one in line in front of them. No car waiting at the window just a line wrapped around the building from the speaker. So when I questioned why I would pay $25 for two bowls of vegetable soup the manager Lindsey called me rude. She then went on a tantrum filled tirade. Been coming here a lot. But ill need to find an alternative. I really want to give this place more stars. So many of the young staff seem to be trying really hard, but often don't know what to do. They are very polite and nearly everything I've eaten is very good here. Its just the little things like getting told what you can't have with your meal... instead of "Yes Sir, we can do that but will need to charge extra. To which I would gladly say, "Yes please." My mom and I went for our first time to Panera at the new location in weatherford on Saturday. It was obvious that we were first time customers and the elderly lady that took our order was no help at all and not friendly. We each had to repeat or order three times and we only had half salads and waters. I found out later that the menu stated that was should have been offered a choice of sides but was not. I would have liked to have had an apple instead of a hard piece of bread. My mom was given a full salad for which we were not charged. I'm sure you lost money on that one. I am a religious Panera customer and was so excited to find out they were opening one in Weatherford. I have always gotten great service and never an issue with a pick up order which I've probably placed a hundred of. However when I placed my second pick up order at this location I received a tube of kids yogurt instead of a parfait. I had to drive back from work, decided to go through the drive thru because the parking lot was full and it took FOREVER. I told them I just needed a parfait and instead of running it out to me they had me wait my turn in the drive thru which took over 10 minutes. Always great!! The staff are so sweet and courteous. The first time I went was on opening day and ordered breakfast and the delicious latte! I received a certificate for a free pick 2 once a month for a year. The second time I went I ordered the pick 2 (coupon) with caprese sandwich and strawberry salad. My husband and I shared it and we both were salivating. The best sandwich I've had!! It was so worth breaking KetoDiet lol. The ingredients were fresh and everything you could hope for from the (very long awaited) Panera!! I'm a huge fan!! We wanted and actually looked into opening one at one point. I've always liked Panera bc of the organic chicken and many salads. And of course, the pastries. Since CoVid, we've been ordering online, curbside pickup and eating in the parking lot or a park.
