Both have been consistently outstanding on every visit. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food has never disappointed. This review goes directly to the manager/owner, who asked me to leave when I told him I didn't agree with the stores policy regarding seating. When I arrived at Sunny Street the restaurant was about half full and no one was waiting. My husband was in the car finishing a phone call. I was asked to have a seat while we waited for him. I did. During the 5-7 minutes I was waiting 2 groups came in and were seated. The manager/owner walked up to the hostess stand and asked why I was waiting. He was told by the waitress that I was waiting for my husband who was in the car on the phone. Since there wasn't anyone else waiting I asked if I could be seated. He told me that it was against policy because my husband had not come inside yet. I told him that while I understood the policy I was hoping he would let me go ahead and be seated since no one was waiting. He became agitated and gruffly told me that he could not make exceptions. I told him again that while I understood the policy I was hoping he would be kind enough to let me be seated since no one was waiting and that my husband would be off his phone call any minute. He then became aggressive and told me to leave. I told him I was hungry and didn't want to leave. He repeated himself again in an even more aggressive voice and said, "I want you to leave now!" As I turned to leave, I thought twice about the way I was being treated. The following week, my husband and I were eating at another nearby restaurant and the waitress recognized us. We also recognized her as a Sunny Street employee. Because she is such a kind and cheerful individual we shared our story with her about the manager. She apologized on his behalf. She then went onto share that he was known by the employees as a grumpy old man. She then went on to say that "grumpy old man" was the nicest thing any of the employees had to say about him.
