The wait time is ridiculous, the app says the food is ready when it's not and management has nothing to fix it. Social distancing is NEVER enforced, COVID safety procedures are not a top priority, and managers pick and choose what rules up enforce. The work environment is extremely hostile and performance is placed over worker wellbeing. As a former employee, I left for this exact reason, along with two other former employees. It is unfortunate that there are good people that must be grouped into this general description, but sadly most of the workers there are elitist, judgmental, and extremely two-faced. If you are a shy person, you would not fit in there, you would be talked about behind your back. You either treat it like a full time job and devote your life to it, or you're mocked and talked about. 3/10 recommendations to either eat there, OR work there. If you are different in any way, they will talk about you. I can only name 2 people there that actually are extremely welcoming and kind. One of them is a female manager, the other is a male employee - they are the only two excluded from this general description. I'm not trying to sound biased, I just want people to be aware before they go there, because surface level it's great - but once you really get into it there is so much meanness that is so uncalled for and could really affect ones mental health. Nice atmosphere, a great place for students to go to do some studying, or for friends to meet up. I met up with two old friends and we were there for hours but were not given any trouble for taking up a table that long. I have never had a meal there that was less than delicious, and their specialty iced tea is fantastic! Their food is great but is a bit pricey for what you get, in my opinion. I love the Cobb salad & strawberry smoothie. I have had the paninis, they are kinda greasy. I have had the bread bowl & soup. Not worth it. Tiny hole in the bowl. The broccoli & cheddar soup is really good. Panera has my favorite salad. Cobb w/ avacado. It is huge. I have to be really hungry or I can't finish it. My daughters love the brownies and bagels. My husband really likes the mac & cheese. Their portions of this are really small. They don't fill the cup. My husband always has to order a few things because their portions for some things are really small. Not salads. They are good sized portions. I love the strawberry smoothie. If I go to Panera, chances are I am getting a smoothie. Also, I got the Panera card & I get free items every so often. read more

I loved Panera bread. I always got the steak and egg sandwich on everything bagel, even though I thought it was overpriced. Now they won't fry the egg hard! You can only do over easy, which us disgusting to me, or scrambled, which changes the flavor. Terrible decision Panera, I used to go for breakfast all the time- now I won't be back for breakfast. We all know with Panera bread the food is pretty much the same quality at every location. The food is good. My favorite is the tomato bisque and the Greek salad with chicken. I am writing this post because of this particular location. I Found myself in this area for a night and the following morning so I went to Panera twice. I will say after visiting many Panera Breads all over the country this one has one of the worst CS problems. The people need to be retrained on how to deal with customers in a pleasant manner. I get everyone has a bad day so if I encounter a rude person I do not chalk it up to the CORP culture but this is a different story. My night pick up order, I walked in to 2 girls complaining about having to do another pick up order- mine. The man at the register was in no way friendly and when I was waiting by the pick up counter, I asked for an extra dressing and that was met with no words just getting the dressing and throw it in the bag. Now I am still pleasant even tho I was told after I get there that there is no tomato soup. I called in an order the next morning and again met with robots who never smiled and were curt in their comments. Not a friendly disposition. I really want these people to go to a Chick Fil A and compare the experience and learn from them. In a time where you can get any type of food readily, what people remember is the customer/employee interaction. read more

My five star rating is based strictly upon their raisin bread ... it's to-die-for delicious, no other raisin bread in the world comes close to Panera's (I'm referring to the Westminster Maryland location). It's to-die-for delicious whether you toast it or not, whether you eat it plain or put butter or jelly or whatever on it. Otherwise, I can't comment on their food because I've never tasted anything else at Panera's. I've never even been inside a Panera's (including our nearest location in Westminster). I was first introduced to their raisin bread when it was given to my husband and me as a gift years ago. Ever since, my husband buys it whenever he's in Westminster. He's never mentioned rude customer service there to me ... but then stuff like this doesn't faze my husband (unless it's really extreme) (it fazes me ... big time ... and I let them know about it). Anyhoo, back to their raisin bread ... if you're a fan of it, try Panera's, you'll never buy it elsewhere again. Panera's offers the customer the choice of thin-sliced or thick-sliced ... we're partial to the thick-sliced. And it makes the best French toast ever. read more

this is an entirely different take on fast food!! i will even go for carryout if there isn't time to eat in. awesome! food is great. we usually go at odd times, so there is never a wait. free wifi and comfortable restaurant atmosphere. i have never seen messy tables or food/trash on the floor. it seems that no matter where we go or when, other than Forbidden City, there is debris on the floor, under the table where we are seated, or there are tables that have not been bussed around the restaurant. it is not pleasant. i have never seen this at panera. very nice! read more

I've been to my share of Panera's. Since they are a chain the food is usually very similar, I think it's mediocre at best and kind of expensive for what you get. Anyway, the reason for the 1 star review is the service at this particular Panera is atrocious!! Not once, not twice, but three times in a row my wife or I have gone there to get dinner to bring home, and every time something is missing from our order. The first time I got dinner for myself, got home and an item I had ordered was not in the bag. The next time, maybe a week later my wife went there to pick up dinner and I told her about my previous experience so she double checked the bag and thought they put everything in, and when she got home her sandwich was actually not there. She called them as soon as she saw it wasn't there and they told her to come back and they will fix it for her. I have to admit they did make good on it this time after my wife told them that this is the second time in a row they messed up our orders. They comped the meal completely, gave her a big bag of cookies and got her the sandwich. Tonight I went there again giving them the benefit of the doubt and ordered dinner to go. Nothing complicated, a pick 2, a bread bowl, and a sandwich all with baguettes. I double checked the order and it was missing the bread bowl. I told the girl working there and she gave it to me without any problems. On the way out I spoke to the manager and just brought it to his attention that the last 3 times we were there his staff had forgot things from our order. I told him that it's fine, I caught it this time but that their were 2 other times before this that we got home and things were missing. He said he was sorry...lol thanks I guess. It's not that complicated though. Just get the orders right, and this 1 star would be 3. I don't think the food at Panera is worth anything more than that, but I go to them because of its convenience and it's food not being total garbage. It takes the convenience out when you have to go there twice because they messed your order up. read more
