I'm really not impressed with the food anymore. I love the different ways to order by mobile app, touch screen in store, or cashier. My cookie was so stale that they were nice to replace it from the bakery showcase but that cookie was just as stale. After getting a meal, drink and cookie, you're spending over $20, too expensive for mediocre food. I like to go there to study because of the free WiFi but I I think I'm going to look for a new study place. read more

Went in this morning at 8:30 am and they had no bagels at all. How do you not have bagels during breakfast peek time? I also had to cancel my sips membership at the beginning of the year because every morning I would go in to grab a hazelnut coffee the container would be empty, very inconvenient for people that just want to be in and out and do not want to wait for it to be brewed, and not only the coffee but also the half and half I found empty multiple times until I finally gave up and just canceled my membership all together because there was no point on having it if I still had to go make a coffee stop somewhere else. read more

Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT customer service at this Panera Bread. For a chain that is consistent with their training in every state, I have never been disappointed with a Panera Bread. Yet this particular location went the extra mile for me in accommodating a request that was well appreciated. One thing that I noticed that was different for a Panera Bread location was that there is a separate room toward the rear of the building that could accommodate large groups. I estimate that you could seat between 30-40 people in this room. This is a much needed benefit for obvious reasons of privacy (among others) and a much more intimate setting. I thought that this part of the venue's structural design stood out. Oh, and Panera Bread still has delicious food. You just can't go wrong with their menu. I also highly recommend the newbie to get a Panera card (free). Put it on your key chain, have it ready in your wallet. Given the amount of freebies and discounts that you get by being a Panera member, the card is worth registering for. This is one card that I don't leave home without. read more

I'm a new Panera Bread app user and have started ordering using the rapid pinch-up to go. The convenience Is great, the order accuracy is terrible. Every order has included errors with what was ordered. I went back and checked my order to make sure it wasn't me and it's been a Panera order every time. Unacceptable. The other gripe is discontinuing iced coffee from the menu. Panera, you're pushing me away. Starbucks is 1 block west and their app ordering is 100% so far. read more

I love everything here! The ingredients are so fresh and light I always leave feeling good about what I just ate. Right now my favorite is the Thai Chicken Cobb Salad. I have been in a habit of pairing it with a chai tea. The greasing on the salad is excellent and the crunch of the edamame is awesome! Panerai bread is a good alternative to fast food. They have a lot of choices. I only come here with a friend who LOVES Panera, my husband doesn't like it. I always get the Steak and white cheddar Panini. It is absolutely delicious, it has thinner slices of steak, white cheddar, pickled onions, and horseradish. I believe it is an amazing sandwich. They do let you order half sandwiches which is more than enough for me. They have chips instead of fries, there are no choices in chip flavors. They also have mac and cheese, salads, soups, and other items. They are well known for their breads, pastries, and cookies. They are all good. However do expect to pay more. I do expect to return with my friend the next time we meet up. It IS a Coke place. They also have other drinks such as lemonades and teas. You can order and pay online to pick it up for faster service instead of standing in line. read more

Can't really find fault in Panera. They are very consistent no matter the location. Friendly staff and quality food. I had the pick two with my favorite broccoli and cheese soup with the Italian sandwich. Nice hot thick soup. I think they use olive spread on the sandwich so that's a bonus. In a endless sea of white bread, Panera is one of the few options in Wichita you can find interesting, flavorful and healthy artisian breads, and that alone is worth 5 stars in my book. In addition to the 18 unique style breads, they also have a broad assortment of bagels, pastries, cookies, and muffins and other assorted sweet treats. For lunch or dinner, they have a nice compliment of soups, salads, and sandwiches. The range of healthy options to indulgent treats means everyone can get something they want. Their large selection of ten soups is Nirvana for a soup lover and it hits the spot on a chilly Kansas day. I particularly like the black bean soup, which is very tasty, and quite a healthy option. They have a nice range of salads and sandwiches to go with the soups, or just get a loaf of one of the yummy breads and make it a meal together with the soup. This place has been pretty busy whenever I have been there. They advertise free wireless Internet, which I have never tried here, and I would probably prefer a Starbucks environment more if I were hanging out doing Internet. read more

I generally have great things to say about the Panera in Derby, KS. The food is great and served in a timely manner. Employees are usually 4 star or better. My only complaint about this last visit is that I utilized the rest room and there was zero toilet paper. That's a problem. Whrn I spoke to the manager about it he did send someone to take care of the issue, but his attitude bothered me. He gave me a passing glance, said "Okay," and walked away. If you are going to have a reward program, please instruct your employees to ask if the customer participates, instead of having me remind them to add my purchase. I have eaten at this restaurant since 2003. I usually would get the tuna salad sandwich on some sort of honey wheat bread. It was always piled high with tuna, so high that I had to use a fork to get the tuna that fell out. I always leave feeling very satisfied and full after such a great sandwich. I haven't been in there in a while, so today I went in and ordered the tuna sandwich. I asked them for a fork, knowing I would need it. The sandwich was not cut, so I asked them to cut it, which they did. There was no danger of tuna falling out today. It was mostly bread and lettuce (arugula?). Lots of lettuce. On the first half of the sandwich, there couldn't have been more than a teaspoon of tuna, and a lot of lettuce. On the second half, there was just a slight smearing of tuna and even more lettuce. The fork didn't get a workout. What happened? This used to be a great place to eat. Today, it was a ripoff. This was a huge disappointment. read more

I thought I would give this place another try this morning. It is the closest place like it to my house. My mistake again. For the last time (I won't be going back again) the service at the register is SLOOOOOW. The only saving grace for this place is the pastries. They are good and fresh if not a little on the pricey side. If you have all the time in the world and do not mind waiting in line while the cashier also fills the orders of everyone in front of you, then this is the place to waste your time. Management could solve this problem easily but apparently does not even acknowledge there is problem. I walked out after over 5 minutes in line while I watched the lone cashier (there were other employees stocking the bins) filling the orders for the people who were willing to wait. I won't be going back or posting any more negative reviews on this place. If you want a good pastry nearby, just go down the street to the nearest Quick Trip. I'm an unofficial cheerleader for Panera. As one is just 6 blocks from home it's a good fit. The food is so fresh and the cooks/preparers are as quick as possible. However today's visit was a little off. The two pictures of the Mac and cheese as a pick 2 are garnished. When I received it there was no garnish. It was good but.... When Panera was on my way to work every day I would stop here at least 3 times a week to order breakfast! I always felt like they had some great cleaner & healthier options then the other fast food breakfast locations. If you want something as simple as eggs, bacon, cheese on a bagel the best part is they let you pick any bagel they have in stock! I always choose the cinnamon raisin to add something sweet to the flavor of bacon on the bagel. For what you get the prices were good on their breakfast foods and getting through the drive through always went smooth. They also have a rewards program which allows you to get some kind of discount or free item after so many visits here. They always provide great fast service with quality delivered breakfast meal and honestly the prices are not much more for breakfast compared to others. read more
