I been having issues with the drive thru for a while. Not receiving the correct order and a couple of the staff members are rude. Customer service is horrible. I kept saying I won't come back, but kept giving them one more try. AFTER TODAY I DONE! Ordered a salad and what I got was about 1 1/2 of lettuce, a few tomatoes, a Big hair in the salad and nothing else. Also the guy at the drive thru once again forgot my drink and acting pissed that I asked for my drink. That place needs to be shut down and a whole new crew and mangers needs to come in. My first time ever trying Panera based on a recommendation from a friend. - I ordered Broccoli Cheddar Mac and Cheese and received regular Mac and Cheese - I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad. The amount of dressing provided is upsetting. The chicken was soggy and chewy as if it was cooked first thing this morning and stored inside of a bag while it was still hot. My wife and I stopped in here tonight for a quick dinner. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it arrived with almost nothing on it. No sauce, no pickles, just some odd looking green stuff stuck to the bun. And of course it was ice cold. My wife ordered a salad with extra pecans. So instead of extra, she didn't get any. And most of the lettuce was wilted and dark green. If this isn't the worst Panera in Michigan, it is in the top five. We're going to stop wasting money here. This was 9/24/22 at 7:10 PM. Wow I'm so disappointed in Panera. First I understand that right now everyone is understaffed and the service industry is having a hard time finding workers, but I ordered just a regular Cesar no chicken and they gave me chicken. Solid work/lunch spot. In relation to other Panera locations I have visited, this spot is typically fast and very clean. Super fast and free internet which makes this a really good spot to get some work or studying done, while getting some good food. The prices here are a little on the high side for me, but I do like the variety of healthy options and their solid rewards program. They need to train their employees better. I understand at this point most places will hire anyone who can fog a mirror but this restaurant needs better training. I prefer the location on Eureka Rd. On west Rd, on two different occasions, the food preparer failed to prepare the food item correctly. Once I ordered the classic salad, and I was served a similar, but different salad This past Sunday, I ordered the modern caprese sandwich. There was no basil-white bean purée on it, and there was so much balsamic glaze dripping from the sandwich; It was an overly sweet, dripping mess! I went to the drive thru on 2/14 and ordered you pick two with soup and bacon turkey bravo sandwich, no other cars were ahead of me in line but yet it look an insane amount of time, had I not already paid I would have driven away, cashier did apologize for the delay. Got home and opened the sandwich to discover this isn't what I ordered nor did it look appetizing or fresh, it was garbage. Although the receipt on the bag was correct, got a sandwich completely different from what I ordered and had to trash it and the cold soup. I phoned the store, went through the prompts and it rang so many times that it disconnected. I called again, this time someone finally picked up, said I need to speak to a manager but one was not available, said she would take my info and send me a coupon in 1-2 weeks for a free you pick 2 this doesn't help me tonight or make up for the frustration with wrong order and making the multiple phone calls, the food is very small portions, very overpriced and customer service in the evening is just deplorable, what is so hard about staff checking the orders and getting it right the first time. Self-service kiosks? Food delivered to your table? Mobile ordering from your table? I had no idea Panera had gotten so sophisticated until we stopped at this location. For lunch on a Saturday the restaurant was busy but not insane. We waited behind just one other party before ordering at the register, and had at least a couple of decent options for tables. Each table is numbered, and rather than calling customers to the counter, the staff brings your food to you when it's ready. Nice service! My Thai chicken salad and my husband's broccoli cheese soup arrived promptly and were up to par with the quality we expect from Panera. The cashier had forgotten to give me a cup for my coffee, but the employee who brought our food quickly brought me one when I asked. We didn't use it, but I did see a sticker by the table number explaining how you can order food from a device and have it brought out to your table. Aside from its technology updates, this location is large, spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend this Panera! read more

This review is for panera delivery from this location. It only took 19 minutes from when I sent my order for it to arrive at the door. And we are 8 minutes from the location. Pretty spectacular. I have a really hectic work schedule and usually only have one day off a week. Delivery is a tempting option a lot of times, but the only thing that would delivery in this area was pizza. Even grub hub didn't have anything for us. NOT ANYMORE. I am soooooo excited this panera now delivers. It is FASTER than any other delivery I have ever gotten, and the delivery fee is only $3. We usually tip 15-20%, so it does make our order about $10 more than if we went inside, but for us it's totally worth it! Do you know how amazing it is to have panera soup and a frozen blood orange lemonade delivered to you when you're sick? I do. We will definitely be ordering this instead of pizza in our house from now on. read more

Panera is Panera is Panera. It's oversalted, but delicious, and it's usually a good option if you've got to feed a group for a meeting. I prefer local, but when I worked in the area this was THE spot to meet up. Also to order large amounts for meetings. While the food is the same as other Paneras and I've never had a problem, this Panera has two things that bring my rating down. First, it's always kind of dirty. Yes, they have HUGE turnover and it can be hard to stay on top of that but this is a restaurant. You have to keep it clean. Tables are always sticky or wet or have crumbs or straw wrappers (or any combo of the above). On top of this, the bathrooms always look like they should have been cleaned an hour ago. I am not too proud to clean up before I eat there and to clean up after myself. Just wish the staff and other patrons felt the same way. read more

This is a chain, so, generally, everyone knows what to expect. My fiance and I come here on occasion to get out of the house, use the wi-fi, get a snack, drink coffee... We haven't been in quite a few months and today's visit makes me remember why we had stopped hitting this particular location. It's freezing in here. An employee talking to a friend said the a/c is on. Perhaps the management hasn't noticed it's 38 degrees outside. The coffee station was filthy. I understand people spill things, etc, but if the coffee carafe indicates that the coffee was just switched out and the counter it rests on is coated with spilt sugar, dried milk and cream, etc, then someone is seeing that and ignoring it. The fact that the coffee I poured was full of grounds was just insult to injury. The restroom (the women's) was just as filthy. Apparently one of the toilets wouldn't flush and, as opposed to marking it as "out of order" it was left, well, used and unflushed. The woman who warned me not to use that particular stall had tried to flush it with no luck. Gross. There's no shortage of places that offer coffee and free wi-fi. Next time we'll choose more wisely. read more

I should really not get their bakery treat for $.99 if I'm going there during dinner hours. There doesn't appear to be anything from their bakery area that still tastes good at 6pm. My cupcake was already dried out quite a bit, and I assume it was baked that morning. Our order was put in wrong, which isn't a big deal normally. I was made a turkey sandiwch as opposed to the smokehouse turkey panini. I was surprised at the error, because I referenced wanting my sandwich with no tomato-ale mustard ,which is on the smokehouse sandwich. The real bummer came when the associate at Panera dissassembled the sandwich that they had given me, slapped two 1 inch pieces of bacon on it, and threw it in the panini press. I didn't get the cheese bread that the smokehouse comes on- I got to eat my sandwich off of the white bread from their mistake sandwich. I was hungry, so I didn't bother fighting over it because they had become busy after we placed our order, but it was definitely a let down. They also had no pepper in their station next to the sodas/teas. Hopefully this was just a bad day- and not an indicator of how my future trips to this Panera will go. read more

I'm not a frequent patron of Panera Bread, but I met someone here for a morning business meeting and was pretty excited because I had heard good things about this newer location. It certainly seems busy a lot of the time so I took that as a good sign! The restaurant is pretty clean inside. A little attention could be paid to seasonal details. The entryway was caked with puddles and salt stains from the outdoors. I feel like that is something you need to pay detailed attention to as it's not an attractive look as you enter an establishment. They also seemed very understaffed for the amount of business they had for a busy Thursday morning. There was one person working the counter with about 9 people in line. The person I was meeting was already seated and I just wanted to grab a quick hot drink. It took me about ten minutes to reach the head of the line and then I had to sit at my table another 5 minutes before my drink was delivered. Once my drink was delivered I will say it was an excellent chai tea latte though! Maybe it was just an under staffed morning who knows, but all in all it was a good experience. I just had hoped for it to be a bit quicker. I was on a tight schedule and ended up spending more time than I had allowed for the meeting because of the slow service time. I'll most likely try again and maybe I'll use their self serve kiosk next time and just sit down and wait. read more

Food is okay, but you might have trouble finding a decent table because apparently Panera doesn't have a problem allowing kids to purchase a single drink while occupying a whole table for hours. The demographic of the clientele is also reflected in the cleanliness of the place, though that might not be entirely the fault of the clientele, could be more reflective of the management. I still buy bread here on a regular basis, weekly or bi-monthly at the least, so my dining experience might not be typical. read more

Ordered 2 bagels toasted with butter. When I received the order I was told the butter is in the bag??? What ??? I pulled ahead and looked inside. Yep 2 pads of butter for each bagel. No knife to apply butter. I went back inside to ask why isn't the butter applied to the bagels. Oh we don't do that because of covid. What? I asked I'm traveling can't put it on in my car without a knife. She gave me a plastic knife. I went to 7 tables filthy, I guess covid doesn't apply to clean tables. Hmmmm. Went back to the coffee kiosk that was clean, thank goodness to apply the butter to each bagel. My question Panera, how do you make salads, pizza, sandwiches if COVID doesn't not allow you to put butter on the simplicity of a bagel how in the Panera world do you make complicated items. As a chain, the taste of the food is as expected. The quality seems pretty good and I've never had complaints about my food. Service is super friendly & incredibly fast. The specialty coffee drink was above average as well as the bagel I noshed on.
