Visited December 5th..see my receipt as always. I visited the Panera Bread in Yuba City. They also have a drive thru. Since I was traveling I decided to get a half sandwich which was turkey with bacon and cheese (ordered a cold sandwich). Unfortunately for 9 bucks the sandwich had one piece of turkey with one piece of cheese and 2 little half strips of bacon. Wow...disappointing! The turkey looked like it came out of a lunchmeat package! On the positive their bread was decent. They give you a small baguette or chips or soda with it. They have coffee and tea as well as sodas. The inside was clean and they had a good selection of pastries and goodies. Bread looked fresh. If I come back I would stick with the bread bowl with soup. Please note that when you place an order inside and pay you then go down towards the back to pick up your order. There is a screen to see when your sandwich is ready. No one told me that! Btw..I went across the street to Red Robin and got a juicy burger with steak fries for 10 bucks! Much better deal! read more

A great location and enough parking and pickup area. The dining area is always clean and the staff is courteous to their customers. The food is exactly what I order and always tasty. They have a good selection of pastries and breads. I miss the Orange cranberry muffins, I must say. I had a grilled chicken chipotle avocado sandwich. It was so good and I paired it with the wild rice chicken soup. The chicken cranberry salad sandwich is a favorite too. I think it's a great lunch place. read more

Enjoyed a nice meal here with my fiancée and her mother after the movies in town. They both had the chicken and broccoli cheddar soup. It came in a huge bowl with a large portion. The soup was hit and really hearty for the cold weather. I enjoyed it and the bread on the side was a nice addition. I got the chicken and walnut cranberry salad sandwich. Not as hearty a meal as I had hoped but it was good. Got an Apple on the side as well. Overall the dining room was clean. The service was excellent and food was ready really quick. They have drive thru here and we've used it a few times and have never had an issue. read more

Decided to go here for my lunch break. I used the app to order pick-up through drive thru and it took a very long time to pick up my food. It's hard to complain about Panera bread. The ingredients taste fresh, the bread is good, service is pretty quick. I had a warm baguette ham and Gouda with spicy brown mustard and arugula. I like this Panera very much. The woman who has taken my order a couple times in person is so pleasant and helpful. The food is pretty much standard Panera fair - but that's pretty good and very fresh. I also ordered ahead on the app for our work Team the other morning and found that the order was fulfilled perfectly and everyone at work seem to enjoy the muffins and bagels. Tip: All pick ups can be made through the drive through - but inside pick ups are now behind the counter - which is totally ok. Just have to ask the friendly staff. read more

I placed my first and quite possibly my last online order at Panera on 8.20.22 for a teriyaki bowl, chicken noodle soup, bread, and a caesar salad. I picked up my order and returned home. Upon arrival, I noticed the soup was missing. I called in and they stated they would log me down for a free soup, salad and drink for the inconvenience. I told them I would probably be in within 3 days. life happens, things like abscesses, and fistulas and antibiotics.... I wasn't able to make it, so I called in today on 9.6.22. My cell phone shows a time stamp of 2:30pm, a call lasting 1 minute and 39 seconds. I asked the representative if I could still come in and if my name was still on their list. I did not want to drive down and waste my time.. I was advised that there was no need to worry, just to ask for a manager and that they log things like this in a book for up to 1 year. 1 year. I said ok, cool, thank you.. I get there around 7:30, and wait 10 mins for a manager. Out comes Yolvah, and she proceeds to interrogate me, asking for my name, my receipt, whether or not I was door dash, the date, the items, what was said and so forth. She kept going through her book, stating she could not find an entry containing my name, as her hostility readily increased. I showed her my cell phone, with the online order, and she ended up finding the entry as an independent sticky note within a binder. Even though the note was found, Yolvah was abrupt and treated me like an enemy, someone who was lying. I advised her that I did not appreciate her demeanor. She proceeded to unyieldingly point to a paper within her binder stating that redemptions are only good for up to 2 weeks and that things get thrown away after 2 weeks.. If Panera Bread would like to review the phone conversation that took place today on 9.6.22 at 2:30pm, please do so, and then let me know if I was lying. I pointed out that I could clearly see log sheets within her binder that contained entries from June.... so clearly things from 2 months ago were not thrown away. She honored the paper slip, but I think she would have rather called the police on me. Honoring a mistake is the barebones of customer service Panera and the night that my soup was left out of the bag was not good for me. I ended up having to cook at home to make up for it. I did nothing wrong. Please train your personnel about important policies or have things posted for employees to be reminded and make sure situations that are resolved over the telephone include all pertinent policies and information. Please treat the public as honest patrons first and foremost, until evidence or lack of evidence warrants a change in demeanor. Approaching a situation with hostility to begin with is unbecoming of management. read more

Worse mgmt ever!! I ordered 4 individual bagel boxes, 13 bagels w cream cheese in each box. They delivered me two boxes and combined my 4 orders. I was taking these to 4 different locations. I called the store and they said it was my fault that I didn't say to package them individually!!!! What? They are lazy and refused to fix it. On 18/11/23 at 6:30 me and my wife ordered two chicken green goddess,and two greek salads, what we got was no chicken in both sandwiches,and cashier did not understand even though she was white American what we kept repeating from menu and looked confused and none apprehensive look. So we went home and there was no chicken In sandwiches,and we drove back with sandwiches getting cold , we were upset because we sat at home in our movie time and opened up the sandwiches and saw no chicken. Worse experience! This was on November 18th around 7 P.M. I asked cashier I want 2 Chicken Green Goddess Caprese Melt with 2 Greek Salad with no chicken in the salad. The cashier was so confused she taught I want 4 salads with 4 apples on the side. After repeating my order 4 times she took our order. When I came home check the sandwiches there was only tomato, cheese and lettuce with no chicken. I drove back told the manager what happened the cashier said oh she said no chicken and I told her no chicken on the salad. The manager said this time we can just give you chicken on the side. I told the manager, I told the cashier I want the chicken sandwich I repeated few times for her and the manger said well you paid for sandwich without chicken and she didn't bother to make a new one with chicken and by the way they didn't have the sauce that goes with the sandwich. I know I was right and the cashier was wrong and the manager should know good customer service, but this manager didn't even care. Panera on Yuba City you should train your staff better than that. This particular Panera is the worst! Poor customer service! The manager is very rude to both employees and customers. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese. It took 15 minutes to toast the bagel and upon driving off my 4 year old tells me it's completely dry. No cream cheese! Just a plain and pretty dry bagel. We have to turn around and wait another 15 minutes going through the drive thru. When we approached the window the manager was there and refused to make it right. Instead she insisted that she give us our money back instead of making a new bagel with cream cheese this time! She was so rude, hateful and I felt embarrassed for her. I contacted corporate and never even got a return email or phone call. I'll never step foot inside that location again! I highly doubt I'll even go to Panera again! read more

False advertising- stopped by with my family to have dinner last night, and saw a sign in the store that said $1:00 for a cup of soup with a $10.00 purchase and entre. When I asked about it, they said that special was no longer available. When I pointed out their sign, the manager walked over to it and said oh there's no date. Always come through with the best tasting stuff! I remember going there back in around 2006 and just seeing some basic stuff and paying a fortune for a really mediocre sandwich (just like lunchmeat and mayo on a decent kind of bread, but the lunchmeat was not so impressive, however, that is so far from the case now!). Since then, they have just improved it like crazy! It's like a whole different place and I can recommend it to anyone who likes Sandwiches and things with more complex tastes! I am NOT one to ever leave a bad yelp review, I have never done this...Food is decent but this is the second time in two weeks I use the bathroom and there is no toilet paper and the bathroom is not very clean. The first time I kindly notified a worker. The second time I asked to speak to a manager and she handled my complaint very indifferent. She took it personal and very un professional. This location has a terrible design for being new, but the constant terrible order issues is reason for review. I used to live Panera when traveling and was excited moving back to YC to see they had one, it's been 50/50 until recently I can't get a proper order to save my life. Today, order a chicken sandwich meal and received bun, sauce and bread. That's it, the sauce was mediocre @ best so I had a piece of bread and a cookie for lunch, for $15+. The issue I have is they market themselves as a delicious, fresh eatery but deliver garbage service after transactions so I keep feeling hoodwinked. If my simple lunch meal is over $12, I atleast want what I ordered. Nothing more nothing less. (I do understand I was only missing some fried pickles or whatever but that wasn't anything done proper) Panera, I went to your Sac/ Howe Ave location everyday for 2+ yrs and still amazing. YC is your red headed, tweaked out step child. I can no longer eat here off past good experience's. read more

The food is really good! One of the employees named Jonathan was so helpful and kind, and made the experience really nice for me and my girlfriend. He was able to easily answer all questions, and we could see him being the same way with others as he was with us. read more

I placed an order through their mobile app, when I received the ready for pick up message I drove to the location for curbside pick up. At this point my order had been ready for 10 minutes. I notified the location that I was in the pick up spot. Waited for a while and nobody came out so I called the location to have them bring it out and they said they were still working on it even though I had already received the ready message. Waited an extra 20 minutes before finally going in and asking for my order. Turns out it was ready all along but they ignored that I was outside waiting for it. We have come in here a lot over the past couple years and have always had pretty good experiences. The past 5 or 6 times I've had my order messed up and it gets pretty annoying. We order custom salads and sandwiches and pay extra for certain ingredients and then never get them. It's kind of irritating to have to dissect everyone's food in the car to make sure everything is how it's suppose to be before driving away. read more

I submitted an online delivery order. There were items not available thus the reciept indicated a voucher was included. There was NO voucher in the bag so I called three times and while trying to put me on hold, was hung up on twice. I finally spoke to a manager on the third call. She was extremely rude and said she put it in herself. She then proceed to say either I cant see it or the doordash delivery person stole it. And that I needed to take it up with doordash. I went through the bag several times. I called doordash and the delivery person said he did not open the bag. I believe him because the tape was securely attached.
