In a nutshell; A nice family owned local diner to stop by if you're in the area. The family who runs the diner are a kind couple of folks. You feel the coziness of the diner experience as you're seated and you see pictures of previous customers and families around and have a nice sense of the history of the establishment. The food was nicely prepared, it's up to par with a typical diner experience. Not the most mind-blowing food but the ambience and the locality authenticity is really nice to have. So my wife and I were looking for a simple, quiet, inexpensive breakfast place. We found it! Menu had best prices I've seen since Pre-Covid. She had breakfast burrito and I had The Mess. Biscuits and gravy were good. It's nothing fancy. But service was good, staff was pleasant. We will return another time. Such an amazing little family place. The place is small and quiet. Most tables are usually fairly quiet. I have been coming here for years and it's always been consistent. Sun is such a joy to see. She always remembers us and greets you so warmly. She often asks about the happenings and checks in. Food is delicious every time with perfectly sized portions. You don't have to feel like you're stuffing yourself but you also don't leave still hungry. Bibimbap is my absolute favorite. They are open for breakfast and lunch and take cash or card. There are six tables inside and a few outside, but you can also order to go. Today, I got the veggy sandwich and added bacon and cheese. The man got cornbeef and eggs. My sandwich was very fresh with crunchy veggies. The man enjoyed his food. This place is my go-to breakfast stop when doing a motorcycle ride up in the Sierras. For less than $10 (plus tip - more on that later,) it's possible to get some bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns with coffee!!! Where is that possible these days? Is it Michelin quality - no. Is it tasty - yes! The owners are kind people who play right-wing crap on the radio. I don't need the politics with my breakfast, but it's easy enough to tune out. Sue will take your order and check in on you plenty to make sure you have what you need to enjoy the meal. I've been here for lunch a few times as well and the Korean options are on point. Affordable, tasty, and unique to the area. I doubt it will ever happen, but I would love to see a scrambled eggs and bulgogi (with a little white rice and Sriracha) option for breakfast. Today I went there for lunch ordered spicy teriyaki and potstickers that was way over priced $21 and some change.
