Ordered here twice. If I lived closer I think I would be here regularly. I didn't care for the Rasta pasta though it had corn and all these unnecessary elements. I found myself picking out alot of components to eat it. The festival wasnt bad. The jerk pork pasta is it! Nice amount of spice. Good portions. Ordered off of uber eats. The pictures looked amazing. That is where the compliments stop. Mac and cheese was horrible. Don't know why it was sweet. Tasted like watered down Kraft mac and cheese with sugar. The jerk pork was not jerk pork. It was pork from the grill with some kind of BBQ sauce and and some sweet BBQ sauce thrown on the rice. No presentation. The cake was dry and tasted old and store bought. Was was supposed to be buy one get one free and they didn't give me the second piece, which I wouldn't have eaten after trying the first one. Only thing that was half way good was the passion pineapple juice that tasted store bought as well. I had to put my own seasoning on the food to make it edible. This place always disappoint me. Everything be dry, pasta, wings, rice. I don't even do reviews but I had to once I open my box of buffalo wings just to see the buffalo done left the plate! I know it was good because I'm lactose intolerant and I risked my health and sanity to be able to finish almost the entire thing and their portions are large as heck. The only con is the wait time. The food is definitely worth it but don't ever order if you are hungry or if you want your food right now. Placed a large ($200+) order for my office last week. I called the night before and confirmed the order twice. The girl I spoke with on the phone asked if I could call the opening staff in the morning to make sure all is correct. I called about 5 minutes after they opened to confirm everything. I did have 1 staff member that wanted to swap her Jerk Pork Pasta for the Barbifried Chicken pasta. I told the woman who answered the phone and she seemed a little confused but I trusted that she got it right. I sent my co-worker to pick up the food and when she got back to the office we found that 3 orders were wrong and they forgot to charge and give us 1 staff member's lunch. When I called to explain, she just said "Nope, I gave her everything, check her car." I didn't have time to argue so we made due with what we had. The food itself was good. I had the Barbifried Chicken Pasta. Super rich and extremely filling. 1 portion is really more like 2-3 portions. Giving 3 stars for the food but the customer service needs to improve. Wow. First time here and I must say has the tastiest carribean food I've had in a long time. I ordered a vegetarian dish (Rasta Pasta) & it was mouth watering good. In the middle of a pandemic which is ridiculous. Secondly, the staff is forever gossiping. I wanted 8 minutes b before I was addressed and they were 3 ladies working/ talking.No reason for the delay. Lastly, they never call you when your food is done. They gave me a time of 20 minutes. I waited, care for my food and it wasn't done. My boyfriend and I love the bourbon salmon pasta so we get it ALL the time. They are always nice when I come in. I love that they encourage you to check your food to make sure your order is correct, it's s something I wish other places did because I do forget to do that time to time. I even got my bosses (Guatemalan and Caucasian) to try it and they loved it. Overall great food and definitely worth every cent.
