We chose Pangea because we were quite hungry and knew the food was good. Pangea didn't disappoint. I started with a perfect Cosmopolitan. Yes. They serve alcohol. My partner has simple Asian tastes and the accommodated her needs well with a vegetable dish and rice. I chose Red curry. We finished with a shared piece of chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Everything was excellent. The service also made us quite happy. She was quite attentive, even though she was busy. Inside the building which doesn't look great, is a warm inviting atmosphere. Give them a try.

Most likely, this place will forever be remembered as "the old Shoneys" by any native Danvillian over 50. In fact, upon entry, I immediately had a hankering for a Big Boy Burger and their famous hot fudge sundae, but alas... Our party of six ate lunch here for the first time recently and found the food to be just okay at best. However, the portions were huge, the service was friendly and attentive, and the joint was very clean and tastefully decorated. Three of us ordered the Teriyaki Chicken. It was served with rice and veggies, which were okay. The chicken, however, was very dry. Overall, I give this joint an A for effort, but a C+ for food quality. Still, I would recommend you try it for yourself. Considering all they get right, it's worth a shot.

A nice place if you need a sushi, sashimi, hibachi, or Thai fix! Its a huge menu! The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside but the inside is very nice and the food is great. The waitress was very friendly and brought out our food quickly and also made sure we knew the kitchen appetizers were half price. Wasn't sure if that was because it was July 4th or it was a Tuesday. The presentation of the meals were very attractive and portions were quite large. Definitely will be back to eat their delicious coconut soup, Izmani salmon dish and fried goyzo dumplings.

Enormous menu, and so far, everything is done well. It's not common for a place with so many options to actually be good at all of them. The waitress was very attentive and quick to get answers for my wife's special dietary needs. I guess that is why we love this place.

I definitely recommend Pangea Asian Fusion! I came here about two weeks after they opened. In that time, I heard nothing but good reviews. And still I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The decor inside was great, loved the faux cherry trees! It was very clean inside as well. The service was good as well. The servers very very attentive and working hard. They offer Chinese, Japanese Hibachi, Sushi, and Thai food. This is very attractive when you're craving some Asian food but unsure of which specific cuisine! Maybe you can get some of each! My sushi and noodles were good. I would definitely say they are on par with other restaurants in town that serve sushi, if not slightly better. Great presentation on the plates as well, which is not expected at all, but a nice touch. Go check them out! This has already become my go-to spot for sushi in town. Now I need to try their other cuisines!

Floors and tables were sticky. Servers were polite. Prices are fair. The portions are good, but as far as Asian food, it's pretty mediocre.

The soup was great but I didn't order the baby roaches that came out of the napkins at the end of my meal.

The food was terrible. The shrimp was over cooked and the carrots were hard with no flavor. The service was not good. Will not return.

BEWARE OF THE RED PEPPER SYMBOL on the menu!!!! If you love spicy, indulge! If you are sensitive or…read morecan't handle spice, run faaaaar away from these items. Most places put a pepper symbol and it's not spicy at all, but this single red pepper symbol means business!!!!!! I'm sensitive to spice at the moment so eating my food was a bit of a marathon....but in a good way! Think runny nose & sweating hot with tons of delicious flavor. To start, we served wonton strips with a white yum yum type sauce which was a nice surprise. For our app we had the crab puffs (crab ragoons) which of course were not spicy, perfectly crispy and had the right amount of filling. I also ordered a dragon roll which came out after my main entree since the sushi bar was backed up. This actually worked out perfect because the cream cheese in the roll was a great way to calm the spice in my main entree. The mango and crab on the roll were very fresh, and the size was also pretty hefty for being an 8 piece roll. I could have easily made this into a lighter full meal. For my main entree I got the spicy basil with chicken (red pepper sign alert!!!), brown rice and miso soup. The miso soup was good as expected, the brown rice was cooked to perfection and served in a side bowl, and the main entree was plentiful with perfectly cooked veggies & chicken! This dish brought the heat but in a very good way!!! I couldn't get enough of that spicy basil flavor!!!! I only ate half the dish so looking forward to a delicious lunch today! Can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes but while I'm sensitive to spice at the moment I may avoid the pepper symbol for a bit!

I ordered the vegetable Lo Mein (without mushrooms & onions). I've had other dishes here, like the…read moreveggie curries, that were great. But this Lo Mein is the worst I've ever tasted unfortunately. The noodles were mushy and overcooked. The "sauce" basically tasted like oily vegetable broth. As you can see from the veggies in the picture, they are just oily without a char and without any flavors. The dish honestly just looks bland as you can see. I can't tell if this was cooked in a microwave or an actual wok because there's no caramelization of any flavors. Nearly $20 for this dish on top of that. A lot of locals prioritize this place over other smaller Asian options here in Mebane but I'm not certain if I'd return for anything based on this waste of money.
