I understand that the restaurant can get busy unexpectedly however, when I arrived my order wasn't even prepared yet. The app even showed that the order should've been ready. The white blonde hostess was extremely rude, she made it seem as if it was my fault for even placing an order in the first place. If I hadn't insisted on her checking on the status of my order I would've been standing there all day. The plate was beautiful-so full of vibrant colors and everything was well seasoned but not overpowering. The portions are so big and the price very reasonable. They took over Great Maple's old location. We decided to sit outside as there was a strong smell of kitchen grease inside. The menu is quite extensive so we ordered a variety of things to share among the 4 of us. Generous portions with very appetizing plating - however I was quite disappointed in the lamb kabob as it was very very dry. I did like their chicken kabob and also falafels which were very yummy. My favorite item from the lunch was the tsaziki that came with the falafel and the beef - very refreshing with a nice scent of dill. But, the flavor barely noticeable. And the bread...slightly soggy. I'm fairly certain the bread shouldn't be soggy on a panini. The chicken itself was ok. Not dried out. The falafel appetizer was good, but came with tzatziki instead of tahini sauce. The koobideh kabob platter was pretty big, enough for two. The kebab was okay, I not as flavorful as some. The chicken parm was also okay, it came with a fairly bland marinara sauce. The food overall was good to mid but the portions are large so the value factor comes into play. Also that was the last time we saw our server and honestly she gave TERRIBLE service because like I said she didn't care and didn't even come back after giving us our coffee. When the food came out, we told a male manager that it was cold and he made sure we would be brought a new order of coffee for us. And also the edges of our plates were dirty, not clean, and unbelievable that they accepted that to leave the kitchen. The manager like the server never came out again and sent us a new server with the coffee. Me and my wife did not have high expectations anymore. However Blanca was great and ten times better than Melanie. Unlike the manager and our old server, Blanca would come back and assured our lunch was great. We eat a lot of kabob and this place seems to offer the sweet spot that satisfies a large group who are each looking for slightly different things.
