Was in the area and wanted a quick bite to eat around lunchtime. We had to search for someone to seat us and it took a moment to place our order. The restaurant didn't seem too crowded. It felt as if they were short staffed. We sat on the patio. Food was good and there was more than enough for two people. The restaurant and restroom were clean. If not for the service, I would have given a higher rating.

Food always fresh and grilled meats are fantastic not overcooked! We ordered family meal cane with three chicken skewers onion tomatoes bell pepper....we got half basmati rice abd half bulger oh plus a pasta dish that had two pieces of toasted bread . I would get family meal again but not the pasta it was just ok. Be sure to ask for hot sauce if you want to amplify! Our first server was ok she had a bit of an attitude. Like don't let me sit where i wanted to. Seemed annoyed we didn't know what we wanted to order and asked questions. However, our server might have taken lunch or left she didn't tell us but our second server was very nice! Remembered to get our underground parking validated and had plenty of leftovers for the next day!

We have been to a few Panini Kabob Grills and they are constantly good. We were attending a convention event across the street. It was perfect because we parked in the Green Street lot. Got validated parking. The servers are so good. Checked on us. Accurate order. Timely food delivery. The vibe is the same as the other locations. Well lit, open, inviting and clean. They have out door seating but it was a little too warm for outdoors. I usually order a kabob platter and take the leftovers home but since we were going to the convention, I just ordered the strawberry salad which was perfect. My mom loved the soup. Will be back!

Stopped in because it looked and smelled good from the outside. Sat at the bar. The staff appeared like they were put off that I was there. It was 5pm. Ordered a glass of wine. I was passed to three different people to get someone to both take my order and bring the wine. Food took a while to arrive. I ordered the meat lovers chicken and beef combo with salad and rice. The food was good. Nothing crazy but tasty. I would not come back here but it was fine if you felt compelled to try it. From a service standpoint. They seem better suited to just handle to go orders. They do not seem to have strong customer service skills.

Our team visited for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The weather was nice so we decided to sit on the outdoor patio. I ordered the turkey avocado panini with a Caesar salad. It was good, just wish it was toasted a bit more. The service was okay!

We came here and ordered the family combo chicken and it did not disappoint. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and served nice and warm--exactly what you want. The portion was generous, perfect for sharing. Service was good - The servers were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Place is clean and they have an outdoor area too. Overall, a solid spot for a satisfying meal. Would definitely come back!

Came to this location for the first time earlier this week for lunch. I see they have multiple locations throughout LA County. This particular one is located at the Paseo. I was surprised at how large the restaurant is and how busy it was for a week day. After reading reviews and looking at photos of their dishes, I ordered the charbroiled chicken shish kabob. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I ate every last bite. I'd hate to be a food runner here as the plates are HUGE. My friend ordered the beef koobideh. That was also very tasty! This place has lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Can't wait to return and have this same plate again. They validate for parking.

The service and food here are always amazing. Everything tastes so fresh, and Panini Kabob never fails to deliver a great meal. The staff is incredibly nice, courteous, and welcoming every time I visit. The atmosphere is also very chill and relaxing. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Came for lunch...ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini sandwich. Your choice of salad(s)...I selected the Romaine Avocado. The place is very well designed, clean and looks new. I ordered what I thought was black ice tea...so I put two packets of stevia to sweeten it up...it is already a flavored tea. My bad for not tasting it first. My refill...no stevia...the ice tea is great. I sat at the bar as I came alone...by noon there was a small crowd...so plan ahead. The staff is overwhelmined with food-delievery pick up...making it difficult to mange the seated folks. While the restaurant appears not too crowded...the chief is making meals for 10 times the doordash people...ugh. The food...is great. I highly recommend this restaurant. Very good! Next time I'll order a kabob...it all looks very good. They offer a Family style meal that feeds 3-5 for $57.99. So think four people for $60.00 before drinks and or appetizers. Not bad. Prices are fair. Panini kabob grill.com is there website. The service is great...servers are attentive. Make this one of your stops.

Great restaurant with good food and excellent service. Hector and Carlos are amazing. We like this restaurant since they were in Santa Monica. The family style kebab special is truly special.. The Caesar and the Greek salads were fresh and crisp. The chicken kebab cooked to perfection and was very tender and juicy. And the bulgur was delicious. I definitely recommend Panini Kabob Grill in Pasadena.

$5 for this tiny thing of lentil soup that wasn't even good

Yep, this place is definitely going downhill. I hope it's just this location and not all Panini kabobs bc I used to looove this place. Now their portions are tiny and their chicken was slightly burnt, and soooo dry. I couldn't swallow it without water at the same time. Soup is awful. Prices are outrageous for what you get and the quality. Won't return sadly...

I ordered the charbroiled chicken shish kabob with Mediterranean salad and grilled vegetables, along with a cup of lentil soup and a side of hummus and pita. The hummus and pita were a 10/10--super fresh and really delicious. I also loved the shish kabob plate; the chicken was very juicy and flavorful, and the grilled vegetables paired perfectly with the salad, which really topped off the meal nicely. The lentil soup wasn't my favorite and is something I'd probably skip next time, but I would definitely come back for the kabobs and hummus. I didn't dine in, so I can't speak much to the service, but the food itself was great.

Come to find out the food is now actually blah blah blah! The cold super thin pita bread was cold & flavorless and oddly comes with a cold cube of butter, what the heck am I supposed to do with that? It won't melt on a cold piece of pita bread. Then the iceberg salad comes out with two small dressing containers to use; this salad had a lot of "bones" [what the hard white parts of lettuce are called]. At least the cucumbers were crunchy, as well as the 2 pieces of tomatoes. I ordered the Koobideh Combo [Beef & Chicken]; and my friend ordered the Chicken Kabob [white meat]. The lacking of flavor in the Koobideh beef & chicken was unbelievable, I asked for a grilled serrano or jalapeno chili and the waitress said they had ran out. I was 2:00 p.m., what do you mean you ran out? We were looking for something to "save" this blandness of both our dishes; thank gawd they have containers of sumac & salt at the table. The basmati rice was bland as well. The beef koobideh, tasted like plain hamburger meat with minimal seasoning. Bottom line, I didn't finish my dish, I just left most of it. My motto is: "If it's not worth the calories, don't eat it." As for the environment: No music, etc. I really don't mean to bash the place; but you guys need to spruce up the place. My seat at the table was ripped; and the table was dirty when we sat down and asked for it to be cleaned (again?). I wish you nothing but the best in this economy!

The chicken is always incredibly tender and flavorful, the beef is tender and perfectly cooked, and I have a friend who could probably live on their tzatziki. Everything is fresh and thoughtfully prepared every day. But as wonderful as the food is, the people are what make Sahara so special. Ana owns the restaurant with her husband and runs the kitchen, and she and the entire staff are simply amazing. This is a true family-owned restaurant where you can feel the care that goes into both the food and the way they treat people. Fast forward to last weekend, we had to be in Pasadena for an errand and finally decided it was time to try it for dinner. I'm so glad we did because this place was SO good! We ended up ordering the grilled octopus, mussels, chicken kebab, and sea bass, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors and textures were just wonderful, and I would genuinely recommend every one of these dishes. The mussels were actually a last-minute decision and ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the night, if not my favorite. It could sit in that broth for 30 minutes and still hold together, and honestly, I could have eaten that entire bowl just for the broth and bread! The ambiance is also wonderful.
