you're looking for a great place to meet up with friends and eat healthy come to Panani Kebab Grill. Food is always amazing. The Family meal is the perfect amount to feed 3-6 people. Choice of 2 of their salads 3 chicken skewers (each feeds 1-2 people) rice & vegetables. Service was a bit slow and the waiter didn't bring me the lemons I asked for but you can never go wrong with their food. This family meal is also great for meal prepping and eating healthy. I highly recommend

Great place for Mediterranean food. This place offers indoor and covered patio seating. What's nice is the tables are well spaced, so you are not sitting on top f another table. The food is good and the portions are great! I've been to the Mission Valley and Del Mar Heights locations and they both are great.

Restaurant was full as we came in but we managed to grab a small table and before long Gleen (pronounced Glen) took our orders and brought our iced teas out promptly. We had the falafel for our appetizer which we enjoyed with our tea while waiting for our entrees to arrive. 10-15 minutes and our entrees arrived and as usual were perfectly cooked, seasoned and so enjoyable!

Been coming here for years and finally getting around to writing a review. I can always expect some of the juiciest chicken and salmon kabobs here with just enough charring on the outside to give them a smokey taste. Along with their delish koobideh and paired with basmati rice (and sometimes rice pilaf) with either their Greek salad or avocado romaine salad always leave me satisfied. Portions are generous and I almost always leave with a doggy bag. We like to finish off with their tasty baklava dessert and wash it all down with their Sadaf hot tea. We usually sit in their sizable patio which is well heated with overhead heater. They keep the lighting dark which we like. Service was always courteous and attentive. Special shoutout to our excellent waitress Natalie who was very helpful, friendly, and patient with her time with us. We'll be back.

Disappointed :/ I've ordered the kabox togo before and it was so good! Came to dine in and it was not a great experience. This was my first time inside and it was confusing. No "wait to be seated" or "seat yourself" sign. I went up to the "order here" sign and assumed we order and pay and then seat ourselves. We sat for a while anyways before anybody came up to us... I asked for water and they said no water for people ordering takeout. And I explained I was confused and meant to dine in but nobody helped us. He said he could only give us water in plastic cup which is fine ? But told us we can't sit and eat our food there unless we dine in. AGAIN I CAME HERE TO DINE IN?? My boyfriend had to had a bit of an argument with them in order for them to switch our order to dine in ... Now, the food... it's a ginormous portion but the quality was so different than when I ordered to go last time ... chicken Kabob entree was dry and no flavor ....

Located in Mission Valley, in the same plaza as Puesto. The parking lot was quite busy as I came for lunch on a weekday around 12:45p. I got the koobideh kabob (ground beef w/spices) plate and you have the option to order 1 or 2 kabobs. I opted for the smaller portion which is nice, for those like me who are watching weight. The basmati rice was fluffy, salad was nice (they forgot the dressing), love the Tzatziki sauce. If you want another sauce to go, it costs $2.00. Service was solid, friendly and fast. Parking is a bit challenging, but you will find a spot if you stay persistent.

Just enjoying a Peroni with my son for lunch and ordering the same thing we had last time and our wonderful waiter Agustine ; p LOL

Just an update and a Head's Up on to go food. Moral of the review is it's always a good idea to check your food before you go. ALWAYS!! Today is 3/1/26. My son and I have been coming here since they first open every two or three months.Never been disappointed like I was today. Today, I took a dear friend in here for his first time. We both had the chicken kabab, avocado salad and rice pilaf with a thirst quenching Arnold Palmer. I decided to get an extra dish to go and how stunned when I got home and opened up the package of salad was less than half of the usual size, no onions,no bell peppers, two tiny pieces of tomatos that looked left over off the grill and six old chewy small pieces of chicken. WTHECK? Our server was wonderful Corina whom my son and I have had several times. Although the place was packed, she was very attentive to us and cheerful as always. Just want to let the Management know, that I am so disappointed. I will Never Ever Order Food To Go in there again. Especially at the same price og $19.99

I really wanted to like this place but was disappointed when the food arrived. The rice they gave was so hard and waiter mentioned it could be rice that was at the very bottom of the pot. The food was on the bland side and the sauces didn't add much flavor either. I could see the potential of this place but unfortunately left unsatisfied.

Good experience with uber eats! Ordered the family meal with chicken kabob, bulgar and salad. It came with a good amount of chicken that tasted great. The bulgur was surprisingly flavorful too and a nice change from rice. Salad was about average. Would order again!

    Great family meals.

Panini Kabob Grill is the perfect place for a quick lunch or a large family meal. Everything we've had is fresh and delicious. They serve a family style dinner for 4 that is enough for 6 people. My favorite salad is the Romaine Avocado salad with the lemon Vinaigrette. So tasty.

When you eat inside the restaurant, the food is good and fresh. However, when you order takeout, the quality is very bad. My food was cold--the rice was cold, and the koobideh was also cold and not fresh. One side was burned and the other side was undercooked. It was not enjoyable to eat at all. I'm very disappointed because they can make good food, but the takeout quality is very poor.

I was a bit skeptical about this place but super glad we came in today! Delicious Mediterranean food, quality was there, portion size. Service was whatever, servers didn't look like they wanted to be there. Regardless, I'd definitely come back.

Delicious and healthy! Amazing portions and good pricing. My first time for dining and staff were a little slow and it didn't appear to be busy so I think we will stick to just ordering for to go. Everything was great! Also filling. Plenty of parking and seating available inside or outside

The decor is gorgeous, warm, and stylish, with beautiful blue tones throughout -- which already won me over because blue is my favorite color. Our server, Emily, was fantastic. She was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely added to the experience. Great service can make a good meal better, and she absolutely did that. Now let's talk about the food, because they did not miss. At all. I ordered the salmon, and it was masterfully prepared. Perfect texture, full of flavor, and the sauce was the kind of sauce you keep going back to even after you swear you're done. My friends had the lamb, chicken, and beef plates, and everything at the table looked and tasted like it was made with real care. The salads were crisp and fresh, and the dressings were bright, flavorful, and balanced. And then there was the espresso martini. Honestly? Best I've ever had. No notes. The owners and staff were also genuinely kind and welcoming, which gave the whole experience that extra "we'll definitely be back" feeling. This is officially my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant in San Diego.

The menu was a bit confusing, but I know that I like grilled veggies and Greek salad and then Ike was able to pick my protein that I wanted so that seemed easy enough. The base price with falafel or chicken Shawarma was Close to $16 but since I chose the meat, they added two dollars to my total. It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble my meal, but my veggies were cooked fresh on the stove, which was really nice. They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The employees were working efficiently and the place was spotless and orderly.
