Tried The Kebab Shop and got the shawarma -- sooo good and such a great value. For $15 you get a LOT of food, and it was super filling and flavorful. The meat was well seasoned, juicy, and everything tasted fresh. Perfect spot if you want something quick but still really satisfying. Definitely worth the price, especially for how much you get. I'll for sure be back to try more things on the menu! read more

Stopped by to pick up a plate for dinner. I'm trying new things and ordered chicken and beef shawarma with chickpea salad and new crunchy Cesar salad. Everything was great. Especially slathered with garlic sauce. Missed my tabouli though. Sometimes it's good to try new things and also stay with favorites. The cashier was really nice. Came out to the Kebab Shop to support a non profit. I had the grain bowl with carved chicken. My food was okay not quite what I was expecting. Establishment was clean with plenty of seating. We were there at 4:00pm so not super busy. This restaurant supports the military so I was happy to come out and spend my money there. There are lots of locations to choose from. With a variety of meat options (and also vegetarian falafel) and great fresh veggies - you can't go wrong! The wrap is the size of my forearm so I count this as 2 meals, which makes this one of the best deals in town! She quick fast and super friendly she even gave me more relationship advice and help Me with my homework i had to come back and let her know i got A plus in math class because of her she everything im looking for when i come eat at the kabob shop i told her today i wanna go see Chris brown and usher concert this winter and she started signing usher hit songs top of her lungs while cooking and cleaning and smiling at the same damm time! This place is amazing the food is fresh clean and she did all that under 4 minutes and 45 seconds i timed her my self and when i finished eating she jumped over the counter and wipe the table down before i can even get up to say goodbye ! Love this location as it's close to tjmaxx/homegoods, parking is easy, staff is friendly, and their food is always fresh. My guy and I started with the Crave Fries. This is probably the most unimpressive thing I've had at a Kebob Shop. It's extremely bland and there's way too many onions on top. Don't worry, we loved our dinners! My guy got the Lamb & Beef Doner with Cilantro-Jalapeno Hummus and Saffron Rice. The rice was pretty plain by itself, but mixing it with the hummus or any of their sauces really helps it. This hummus is my favorite hummus from them as it is soo flavorful! Works perfectly with any protein. I got the Grilled Chicken Skewer with Chickpea Falafels and the Citrus Chickpea salad. The chickpea salad was insanely good! My guy kept trying to steal more from me. Unfortunately, it did make my plate very soggy, which I didn't love. The falafels had a nice crunch to the outside, but were very soft inside and not dry at all. The falafels and the chicken went amazing with the hummus too! Highly recommend. Every time I have been to The Kebab Shop, I have had a very good experience, including this occasion. This location in Mission Valley is very convenient, in a strip mall with lots of parking and both indoor and outdoor seating. In particular, I like The Kebab Shop for its decent prices, portion size, speed of service and I like to think that it's on the healthier side. They have a pretty diverse menu where you can choose your meat and sides or go for a wrap. On this occasion I went with the plate and selected the chicken kebab, falafel and hummus with pita bread. With a generous portion of hummus, nicely grilled chicken and tasty falafel, I came away satisfied along with some leftovers. read more

The steak was a bit chewy but overall I enjoyed the flavor of everything from the hummus and sauces.
