Instead of eating at Windward Mall we made a stop here instead. The outside is rather nondescript and with an odd mix of other businesses. I can see how parking could be a challenge but we got lucky finding a parking space and most of the customers were doing takeout so there is a lot of turnover. The menu is a good mix of local food. I felt like having fish so debated between the grilled mahi or a daily special of grilled ahi. Since it was a special I decided to get the ahi. I didn't know it was going to have a garlic and green onion topping on top. I like garlic so no problem for me. It came with 2 good sized portions of ahi, two scoops of rice, and mac salad. For the price ($14.99) I thought it was a good deal. Service was efficient and there is a good amount of tables inside. I would like to try other dishes to see if they do well with other types of food. We also ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. Ordered breakfast with hash browns. The hash browns appeared to have two (mcDonald's style hash browns stacked on each other. The top one was overly fried. When I lifted that one, the bottom one was not intact due to it being fried to a pulp. So basically, they hid the bottom one that was overly fried into crumbs and they had the nerve to put it in the plate. Can't stand when businesses pull shenanigans like this. Neither was edible, unless you like overcooked and burnt hash browns where the potato's are no longer potatoes but burnt karaage flakes. I paid $11 for this rubbish. This morning my friend decided to buy me breakfast since I pick her up from the airport . This place was always on my radar and finally got to check them out . My sister been there before and she said it's cheap and they give a lot . Since it's Saturday it was pretty crowded we were lucky enough to find a table . My friend went up to order I ask her I wanted Eggs easy over w/ Vienna sausage. . They practically gave the whole can of Vienna most places only 4 - 5 pieces . Came back to get my usual corn beef hash and 2 eggs plate. Unfortunately they did increase the price on everything a little bit but it's still worth the price for the amount of food they give and how delicious it is. Bought my family this time and tried the teri beef saimin for the first time. It's really flavorful for a place I didnt know sold saimin lol. But my grandma has a weak stomach and always gets that and after tasting it, I can see why. My dad got the garlic Ahi and it was delicious! Update: Went to pick up dinner here at Pam's Kitchen in the Nanko Fishing Supply Bldg. Was just a few patrons eating in, I decided to take out ! Lots of choices & foods to choose from. Service by the women @ the counter was not rushed and pleasant. Ordered a Kalbi, seafood plate, Mac salad &rice , Kalbi, shrimp , Mahi Mahi 3 pieces each. For about $ 20.80 with tax. While waiting for the food was able to catch the World Series on their TV. The plate arrived in about 10 minutes, plastic bagged & delivered to me. Good service & clean restaurant. I usually do a phone order, where most times the lady is usually not friendly. The hamburger steak is good but is not home made. It's probably better quality frozen kind so it tastes pretty good, it's topped with onions and mushrooms which makes the food ono. I had the breakfast which I thought was not great. Asked for crispy bacon and got thick overcooked bacon that didn't taste good at all. This establishment is clean and offers a few tables for dine in. For my meal, I chose the Mushroom Veggie Omelette ($8.95), which was served fresh, hot, and perfectly filling. The omelette was delicious, and it came with a generous portion of rice on the side.
