OMG, this is a new find and I love this place! This has quickly become one of my favorite cafes in the east side. The vibe is peaceful, aesthetic, calm, and welcoming, the baristas are incredibly kind, and the drinks are consistently excellent. So far I tried their matcha latte with almond milk and monk fruit and it was tasty, and then also had their version of the shaken espresso. The baristas aren't snobby and willing to customize your drink to fit your preferences which is great! They also have Wi-Fi if you need to work, cute merch, and plenty of space to relax. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel better. I'll definitely be back again and again! read more

Was able to put in my order this morning and get my matcha fix! Sometimes their online system is down but it's quick and easy when it works. Overall I don't know if I always get energy from their matcha or more specifically their coffee but it tastes cleaner (doesn't give me a headache or jitters after). And it tastes great!! Very cute place. It was next to Cinnamon's (breakfast spot), and my friends and I wanted matcha so we went here! The menu isn't that big but we came there for the flavored matcha so not bad. I got the Island Matcha, my friend got the mango sticky rice matcha, strawberry matcha, and then a coffee. The island matcha (ube matcha) was great! The baristas were nice and said if I wanted to change it later (because I told them I was deciding on two things) then I can just tell them and they'll swap it out. The ube was pretty strong and it did make my tongue purple. Mixing my drink more the ube definitely overpowered the matcha. The mango sticky rice matcha wasn't really mango sticky rice. It was very coconut flavored and it felt okay. There were no hints of matcha at all. The strawberry matcha tasted like matcha at some points then tasted like straight strawberry milk. read more

You know me Well.. Since I was in the area I just had to find a matcha spot and this spot has been on my list for quite some time and was delighted to have finally gave them a peek. Located right across the Kailua Public Library parking is the biggest challenge here or at most Kailua locations but let me tell you it's worth the stop as this places is just a chill spot to relax. With various seating you know the vibe here is chill whether you're here to get work done or just a cup of your favorite sip from the friendly staff and it was the Strawberries + Cream Matcha a very mellow sip slightly on the sweet side was very nice and smooth as I watch them whisk the matcha it's so therapeutical along with the soft music it's a great spot to reflect. Off the road is this spot with the chillest vibes. There is seating as well as music playing to bring the mood up. The staff were friendly and hand mixes the matcha so it could take a bit. I ordered a matcha which wasn't my favorite. A little watery, but it looked pretty! I tried a toffee latte which wasn't a lot better. This spot can be an easy grab n go if needed. read more

I came here on a weekday morning to do some work and I enjoyed my time here! It was a small and cozy coffee shop. I ordered the banana bread latte and while the flavor was good, it was a little too sweet for my liking. If I were to order it again I would ask for half sweet. Went down to Kailua Town to draw coffee and matcha from The Well - a new coffee shop, in Kailua...where there once weren't too many options. Next to Bowles Burritos, The Well offers a bevy of beverages. I chose the Pumpkin Matcha Latte today. It was quite good as was the Banana Bread Latte that I had on my initial visit. Fairly busy for mid-morning Mondays...it has a nice modern/surf aesthetic interior. Parking lot dedicated to the various businesses within the building. I enter via the 7-Eleven right across from The Well on Kuulei Road. The Well has a logo - on their cups - that reminds me of the movie The Ring. Went here on a whim when I was running errands and loved it. Despite its small menu and even claustrophobic space given the crowd I was shocked at the quality on display for the price I paid. I bought an $8 Tiramisu latte which I bounced back and forth with getting that or the equally delectable sounding Banana Bread Latte and didn't have to wait long. Despite the crowd and only two people working the shift they did a fantastic job of belting out orders and keeping us moving. The space itself seemed lovely but given the crowd I didn't stick round. My latte came with a ladyfinger per brand with the tiramisu which I didn't know was like a cookie ish undipped. The flavor when dipped in the latte was amazing and equally as good as the taste. It wasn't bare by any means super creamy and overall a fantastic pick. I also could feel the energy rather than just a flavored coffee from a chain which was a nice touch compared to what I am unfortunately used to. I will definitely make an effort to come more often on my lunch breaks and give it a stab. If you can find parking this place is a must do!!! read more

I ordered a late with whole milk and a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. Megan brought me my bagel was not toasted but ended up not saying anything because she was already upset that I told her I asked for a late. "This is a late, an iced late" she said. I told her I wanted a late. She said "so you want a hot late?!" Yes I said, thank you. She made it and then called me up to pick up my drink. The this place doesn't even have cups everything is paper or plastic. That's not what I think about when I want to go enjoy a cup of coffee at a coffee shop. Really good coffee, great pastry options and fast service. There are no outlets for guests which makes it hard to come to do work if we have to leave shortly after. Morning brew has outlets if you want to stay for a while. Also there was this really loud dog barking and it's a small place that's kind of echoey so it was really jarring and made us want to leave. read more

I got the pistachio crème brûlée and it was 10/10! The cold foam had a marshmallow consistency -- like after perfectly roasted over a fire. Anyways, it was a maple cold foam! Been wanting to try this place for a while. Parking was very easy with meter street parking. Walked right in and it wasn't crowded at all. Great place to study or hangout with friends although it is a smaller shop. The drinks came out very quickly and I got the banana bread latte that I've been wanting to try. Good service, nice interior with a bathroom locate outside. Double Matcha: the cold foam is not too obvious. The drink does not have any taste. I forgot to double check the description if it comes with syrup or not. Matcha Muffin ($7): this muffin is on the dense side. Matcha flavor is not stand out, but color is there. For a drink plus a muffin, the total is around $16, which was quite expensive. Especially for that muffin. Suggestion: if there is cream cheese on top of the muffin, it would be better. read more

Saw this place all over social media so I was excited to try. Super cute vibes and a lot of seating with a parking lot in the back. I tried the banana bread latte and it was probably the best latte I've ever had. The foam on top was topped with cinnamon and the coffee was really smooth. I couldn't taste any banana flavor, it was more of a cinnamon latte, but it was still really good! Workers were really friendly too. I would return next time I'm in kailua. read more

I ordered a banana bread that was really dry and burnt. The burnt smell is really strong and the paper is stuck to the bottom of it. Really wish the server would've checked the quality of it. The worst $7.32 I spent for a piece of bread that wasn't edible and had to be thrown away. But the Matcha was good. The server was Arya. read more

Hands down one of the best coffee shops in Kailua if you're looking for fun and different drinks. Everything I've had here has been so delicious. I particularly love the banana bread latte and the snickerdoodle latte. Parking is also pretty easy to find behind the building and they're pretty quick to get drinks out too. The banana bread latte is perfection!! It's definitely in my top 5 lattes on the island, I was savoring every sip. It was around $9.40 for one drink (with alternative milk) which is a little crazy, but worth it (I'm already thinking about when I can go back). I was having like the worst day ever so I lugged my 2 little kids on a long walk to get coffee and a treat as a pick me up. Got there & realized I left my entire wallet at home I had a few dollars cash and the sweet cashier covered the rest of my latte and my toddler's banana bread. It seriously made my whole day. I wish I remembered her name. She is the reason we keep coming back here! We go to kailua a few times a week after the library & we plan to keep coming back to this spot every time. The place is really cute and the workers are nice but the coffee is ridiculously sweet. We tried the banana bread latte and the pistachio creme brulee latte and were expecting some sweetness but it was so overpowering. The drinks didn't even really taste like coffee, more like a sweet milk drink. I even got an extra shot in the banana bread one and still couldn't taste the coffee. It also took a very long time but we did come in at a busy time, around 10am on a Sunday. read more
